Rose is my favorite companion and she been voted it numerous times but Donna next Donna is what the doctor needed after losing rose and Donna is the saddest cause they became best friends and then he had to wipe her memories
@@charlenerafferty3534 You think that was harsh for the wiping the memory, then you will be heart broken in the Second Doctor when the Time Lords wiped his companions Jamie (the longest companion in history) and Zoe forever.
@Mazine Essafi sorry I miss read I thought you said it was just a prop they put there, sorry I'm really dislexic I was just saying that cus the shirt Donna picked up was the shirt that rose had on when they went to New New York, and not a jacket, it suggests that there may have been some hanky panky going on 😳 since people don't usually leave their shirts lying around, but your right he probably did frame it 😂
Fun fact: no one actually told David that Billie was coming back for it so when the doctor saw Rose he wasn’t acting and was genuinely that happy to see her.
@@edbertextreme I call bullshit. Before 10 was 9 how they met, the Face she fell in love with Originally. Even if Rose was still around for 11,12 & 13 She will still help Emotionally help Humanize the Doctor... However... As a Companion She's not very capable as Martha, Amy, Rory and Captain Jack, K-9, Sarah Jane And HEAVILY outclassed by The Doctor's Wife - River Song. All Rose Did is Help Doctor overcome his PTSD from the Time war... River Knows everything about her Husband (That including His other Personas) Right down to his True name an Honor no one in the Doctor's army has.
@@WindyREDPanda She may have not been very capable but she and the Doctor had an extremely good chemistry, perhaps one of the best he’s had with anyone. You can really tell that when the Doctor was travelling with Rose it was probably the happiest he had been in his life. They were enjoying each other’s company and constantly goofed around, kept each other bright even in the face of danger.
Crap, the way he says " Her name was Rose" hurts my soul. Tennant did a brilliant job throughout the xmas special of portraying someone trying to hold himself together and stay strong through the heartbreak. Though he looked like he was on the brink of tears every time he even so much thought about her. Personally I think the 10th doctor had the saddest, most affecting companion departures.
Yeah, because that doctor care the most about his friends, even 12 doesnt care as much.. the friends of the 10th doctor helped him through the most tough thing he can face, the death of all of his family, and feeling like hes never good enough, etc. I feel so bad that the 10th doctor didnt get a better life, but honestly, how he hides his depression constantly with a smile and when he does get reminded of who he has lost, he loses it. That doctor was so sad, and so heartbroken, that when he saved wilfred that terrible day, he claimed that he "lived too long".. 😭😭😭
Rose was a huge part of the Ninth recovering from being thne War Doctor and becoming The Doctor again. She helped him put his soul back together and it created a very tight bond.
@@toestealer 12 spent billions of years trapped in a mind prison and went against his own people just to save Clara from death. I don't think he was in love with her but he definitely loved her as a companion.
My favourite companion was Donna. She always asked about Rose and knew how the Doctor felt about her. She always saw him as a best friend and not trying to be more and that's what I liked about Donna. It's a shame she only got one season and the saddest ending.
For the first time I do feel sorry for Martha. She has it pretty rough with the Doctor. Kind of mirrors the audience with her actually, we were all comparing her to Rose and that's not fair.
After Doomsday, EVERY. SINGLE. MENTION. of Rose had me in tears, sobbing my heart out. Didn't matter where I was or what I was doing (eating breakfast for example). Tears would be streaking down and there was no way of stopping. I'm not exaggerating. For most of Season 3, I was a sobbing mess at the very mention of Rose.
Me too. The adipose episode where Donna talk to a blonde stranger and it turned out to be rose. I scream with joy and cried. Had to literally paused the episode.
It was like, with Rose, he never mentioned his previous companions. But after Rose was gone, he kept talking about her. To me this really shows how much she actually meant to him. He truly and genuinely loved her and didn't want her to be forgotten.
Ugh that part when Donna talks about how she met Rose with the "Bad Wolf" destroys me every time. He's just so sad and hopeful when he hears that she might come back. Ugh so sad. My poor Doctor. The other one that killed me that wasn't in this video was the reference in the 50th anniversary when the Time Bomb is in the form of Rose and Ten hears Bad Wolf and he just is so happy. #tenroseforever
Ah ,that part of the anniversary destroyed me.I had to stop the episode to sob for some time and complain about how unfair it is. I think I'll go cry some more...
Granger Disney that part annoyed me because when he said bad wolf I was like yes realise she's there come one but they swept it under the rug I wanted a bit more detail 😭
Rose and the 10th Doctor have been my OTP for over a decade. Even though Rose gets a happy ending, the fact that The Doctor has to sacrifice that life with her for the good of the universe breaks my heart into a thousand pieces. However, I do understand why it has to be that way, even if it hurts. The fact that the pair had (and still have) such a lasting impact on viewers is a testament to their onscreen chemistry and the integrity of their characters.
Yes it had to be that way it was nice ending for rose cause that doctor gets to grow old with her and the tenth doctor didn't say it cause he knew rose would of stayed with him and he would of outlived her sad for the doctor but it had to be that way that's the curse if the timelords
Well. He is heartbroken. It's so so obvious he was going to tell her he loved her. But he didn't even get to do that. And he thinks he'll never see her again. Imagine how heartbreaking that would feel. It hurts for us TenRose shippers. It must be much worse for him.
This makes me so sad. He really did love her :( However, I do feel really sorry for Martha when I watch these moments back. The Doctor really did treat her feelings quite badly. I'm not saying it was his fault or anything - he didn't even realise what he was doing until it was too late and she decided to leave - but you do have to shake your head at some of things he said. Like, in Gridlock, when Martha asks if he was taking her to the same planets as Rose as he just replies 'What's wrong with that?', I just shook my head and put my head in my hands, groaning. Not the best thing to say there, Doctor! Bless him, you can tell he hasn't had much experience in this department. I'm glad, however, that in series 4, Donna understood him a bit better and understood how he felt towards Rose and was much more sympathetic towards him when she was mentioned. The way she's smiling when she gets him to turn around because Rose is at the other end of the road is such a beautiful moment (the whole scene is! - Until that pesky little pepper pot of a Dalek comes in and spoils it all!). And the fact that she remembers him mentioning Rose and asks him about her when they meet again shows how much she cares (though, let's be fair, she probably couldn't not remember Rose's name since the Doctor was so (understandably) upset when she first met him a year and a bit prior) And...I'm going to stop now because I'll be here all day, otherwise. I don't comment on videos often but, when I do, I always seem to leave one hell of a comment :P
Emma C I always thought Martha was a tad ungrateful “you’re taking me to the same planets as her ?” Bitch if it weren’t for him you wouldn’t have seen any other planets, think before you speak.
Bobsuruncle Mum: No. And thank God for that... It's a show about change and new experiences. Constantly obsessing over the past is the exact opposite of what the show has always been about.
@@charlenerafferty3534 Oh, I know. I do wish it had had been the real Doctor, though. I've had a theory for ages that Rose is actually immortal since the Bad Wolf incident in PotW, but the showrunners couldn't have that with so much of the series dynamic being fueled by change.
I love how RTD and David Tennant did this, it shows how every time he mentioned Rose it got a little bit easier. Look at how he is whenever Donna mentions Rose in her first episode versus how he is when Martha does; at first, he's still making sense of it in his head and grieving, and then later when he's with Martha he has almost accepted it and is focusing on the fact that she's happy and with family now
Rose always left her jacket on the rails of the Tardis, when 9 and Jack think she's been disintegrated Jack finds her jacket in nearly the same spot and picks it up. The fact that Jack also loves her gives me major feels.
I find it quite affensive considering they were in "love" then he says about if I can help rose Tyler with her homework I GET SO PISSED AND TRIGGERED ! CONSIDERING IVE WATCH SINCE 2005 (and I was 1 year old but I remember it)
Da Dom Im still confused about it cause when they met it seemed like she was out of school and also when would they work on homework in the tardis and how would she even go and get the homework?
When 10 is talking about having dinner at the Powell Estate, he says "My friend she had this family, well they were..." and he cuts himself off I always believed he was about to say well they were my family too. Or something along those lines. You can really see how much he cared for Rose, Mickey, and Jackie.
I hope we get more Rose Tyler references in the future. Not sure if we got any in 12th's run, not that I can remember anyway, but it'd be neat to hear it maybe in 13ths. (It's always great to hear future Doctors talk about their past selves' and companions).
UnknownTimelord there are actually a lot! The Twelfth Doctor’s first episode shows him cradling a bouquet of roses. His speech and reasoning for giving Ashildr a second repair kit is very similar to Ten’s speech in School Reunion and implies he has met and lost someone he couldn’t bare to lose. Check out lilyandtherose’s video ‘Twelve & Rose || Someone I Can’t Bare to Lose’. There were a few in s11 as well!
I don't know if anyone's ever mentioned this but there is one more time the Doctor mentions Rose, it's in the episode the midnight train when he's talking to Sky, she says that her gf went to another galaxy to get space and then sarcastically asks if that was enough space and the doctor replies at least its not another universe... I don't think its exactly right but its on the lines and I think he's clearly thinking of Rose ...
That's why I liked Donna. She was a best friend. She didn't try to be his lover. She didn't get jealous of Rose. She pretty much was their biggest shipper.
The doctor is still married and he still loves rose, also to all the people saying Martha traveled around the world and saying rose did nothing, remember she had to go through many different parallel universes (even one where she saw the doctor dead body being taken away in turn left) to get to him again.
I didn't realize until this edit that the Doctor was staring at the blonde because he was thinking of Rose, or that her dancing partner was dressed almost the same as the Doctor with the brown suit.
i think people have a tendency to oversimplify rtd’s characters, when they were anything but simple. the doctor was trying to bury his feelings as a opposed to allowing himself to grieve, which backfired as it just made it more difficult for him to move on and manifested as headassery towards martha. martha actually for the most part was pretty strong about this. she never forced herself on him or anything. however, that’s not to say she was completely innocent - the reaction she has to jack and ten celebrating the fact that rose isn’t dead and talking about their friend was kind of insensitive. like the ‘oh she was blonde’ was quite a mean jab given how much ten was hurting. but then again, he never took the time to explain who rose was and what happened to her, he never opened up about his feelings, so i can’t really blame martha for not understanding a situation she barely knew anything about. in addition, it’s interesting to see how ten acts differently with donna. he knows by s4 that he didn’t treat martha well and that their friendship never grew properly bc he never learned to trust her and never opened up about anything to her. so with donna, we see a more open and thus happy ten. he finally allows himself to open up to someone, which is what allows his friendship with donna to be so strong. it’s also nice to see how ten and martha’s friendship has grown into something special in s4 as they’re no longer stuck in their unhealthy situation.
Ugh that "oh she was blonde" thing really pissed me off. Can you imagine loosing the love of your life, the one person that was there for you after you've lost your entire family and then have someone come along and say something like that about them just because they were jealous you didn't love them. I like Martha but she could be a bit of a snob at some points.
@@thatbowiefan6276 can you answer me how many years has the doctor not seen rose after that heartbreaking goodbye in doomsday to there reunion in the stolen earth
"Doctor, that friend of yours...what was her name?" "Her name was Rose" "I met him once. He was a goodly king." "He was a man. Take him for all and all. I shall not look upon his like again."
THE DOCTOR AND ROSE She loves him, and he loves her. Simple as that. Not a kissy-kissy kind of love, this is DEEPER. From the momment they meet, The Doctor and Rose are SOULMATES. They need each other and complete each other - he’d got a mind full of time and space, she’s entirely down to earth. A perfect match. - Russel T Davies, as transcribed by me
1:28 the fact that when he remember of Rose the song was "when you took me in, you stole my heart", and his face when he remember her was so sad and my heart can't take it. ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽
I know, right? Tennant himself has said he felt lucky to have had three of the greatest companions in the show's history. And he's a giant fanboy when it comes to "Doctor Who," so who the hell are we to judge?
I mean, all the companions have their own moments but what made me love about rose and the doctor is because of how tragic is their love story cause they didn't get to be really together in the end
Rose was always my fav but I always liked all of them. I missed Rose terribly tho. I loved her and the doctor's chemistry and love. I was glad they mentioned her because if they hadn't it would have been like she had feared episodes b4. That he'd leave her behind and forget her. Glad it wasn't the case. PS... Can we talk about how they couldn't sense his name but could sense Rose's name? THE FEELS
That was the point! The entirety of the next 2 seasons were based around the Doctor missing Rose. Feel slightly sorry for Martha because she literally was a rebound - and a terrible one at that! But thankfully Donna was decent and witty so her season worked out alright - but the return of Rose was the basis of it all!
Martha was amazing. she literally saved the doctor in almost every episode. if it weren't for her the doctor would have died like eight times. and she had the hardest mission of all the rtd companions where she had to endure the doctor being pure crap half the time to her, and then having to walk around the entire planet. when did rose or donna do something that hard? how was she terrible? and why is the doctor excused for being so terrible to her, but she's the terrible one? try giving ur dying breath to save someone when u first meet them, then they stalk u, showing up at ur brother's party, and then they randomly lash out at you, when u ask where their previous friend went, and make it very clear that they are never going to give u the same respect they gave the person before u and not give u much of a chance? wouldn't u get angry every now and again? mind u I still respect ur opinion and u definitely have a right to feel as u do :), but I admit that I just disagree. peace
Psyche M Oh, please. You do realize Martha didn't actually HAVE to stick around, right? She stuck around only for the travelling and her stupid crush on him which was annoying. Rose and Donna would have done what she did if given then chance. Rose took in the vortex for God's sake which was much more dangerous than walking the world. In the end, she ditched him simply cause she finally realized he didn't like her that way. Rose would never have left him for anything. Donna was great too. A good friend and very mature and sassy. Martha was just annoying and boring. I didn't like her jealousy towards Rose and the woman from 1913 (even though I didn't like her either due to her rudeness and the way she acted). Martha wasn't the best, not even that good. She was okay, at least in my opinion
I respect ur opinion, and I hope that u respect that we can agree to disagree, so here it goes. btw, this is going to be a long set of posts, but this is just to respond to what u said. 1) U say Martha stuck around for the 'travelling and her stupid crush on him which was annoying'--well, rose only travelled with the doctor at first because HE could travel in time, and it wasn't even about space or about him. remember, she even rejected his offer at first (for a second, I was happy about that bc it showed how she would be there for mickey and she understood that he just got scared, until that proved fruitless). and the doctor even pointed this out to rose, in anger, in father's day, when he realized that her main desire to travel with him was not for his company. Also, ALL the companions climb aboard the Tardis with a love for travelling, so why are u holding that against Martha only? also rose had a crush on the doctor! she even did not deny that she began to find him attractive. this gets confronted in new earth. and aren't ur pardoning one woman for the same actions that ur condemning the other for? 2) as for 'rose taking in the vortex for godsakes which was much more dangerous than walking the world'... are u kidding? first, rose was possessed by the vortex practically. I watched parting of the ways plenty of times... she walked into the tardis and stared at something that she didn't know the full power of when it possessed her. it was the tardis giving her the power. she didn't know its dangers until after the doctor took it from her to save her life from it. how is staring into something that is possessing u and u don't know the full dangers of much harder and dangerous than WALKING AROUND AN ENTIRE PLANET, while ur being hunted, while countries are getting blown up around u, and no tardis key can protect u from the explosion, and unlike rose u were not given supernatural powers, ur just a human, and then u did almost die twice by laser screwdriver, by the master? so what r u basing this on? yes, staring into the vortex is dangerous, but again, rose didn't really have time to discover this when the tardis was giving her the power bc rose was the only human around to take it in herself? also, u say that rose and donna would have done the same thing if they were in her place, then the door goes both ways. if rose and donna would have done it (something we can never know but u could be right for all we know, or wrong for all we know), then Martha would have done the same thing they did for him (getting possessed by something or touching something that would make u part timelord). if ur gonna present that argument, then by ur admission, she is as good as them. so again, how is she not as good or better? 3) first you said that she didn't have to travel with him, and then u are angry that she left when she realized that he didn't like her that way. so first ur saying that she didn't have to travel with him, and then condemn her when she did realize this? again, make up ur mind. also when u like someone, give ur dying breath to save them, emotionally feel a link, it's not easy just to walk away, and I don't know why u don't know that. she had feelings, and its not easy to get rid of feelings sometimes, but that doesn't make us awful people for having them. that's why, personally, I always felt that eleven never made clara feel bad for any potential feelings she may have had for him, bc he learned from his experiences with martha. and also recall, that 10 did admit that what happened with Martha was all his fault in the episode 'partners in crime', bc he realized that he started their relationship out wrong and he could have dealt with it differently. besides, her strength came from the fact that she realized that it was time to walk away, and sometimes that is the strong thing to do. also the doctor didn't have to travel with her either! he was the one that kept saying 'one trip and you go back', but then doesn't take her back, and when he finally does take her back, he comes back ten seconds later. the door goes both ways again with that one. also, she did walk away to help her family as well, u know, bc they were tortured for a year: but I guess that doesn't matter to u, and u believe that it shouldn't matter to her, huh? 4) Martha is NOT the first companion to leave the doctor. quite a few companions in classic who left him him, so are you gonna hold a grudge against them too? 5) donna and Martha were in two different places when they met the doctor. remember when she first met the doctor, donna was madly in love with someone, who she chased after, she proposed to, and she kept pursuing, and loved even when he didn't love her. she therefore didn't care for the doctor bc she was already in love with someone else, and when Martha met the doctor, she was single and available. that being said, Martha and donna actually went through similar situations. they both liked a man who didn't really like them, they pursued the man, chased after him, and then had to walk away. I always felt that that was why donna was so nice to Martha, bc she knew how it felt. donna and Martha are actually very similar in that way, they just pursued different men. and u also forget that when donna met 10, she rejected traveling with him! mind u, she was perfectly right to do so. seeing as how he committed mass genocide on the racknoss children when they had committed no crime yet (only the empress did), but i'm also assuming that u don't care that 10 killed a whole race of innocent children, bc as long as he didn't have a crush on someone who didn't like him (like Martha did), then u think its ok, I guess?
6) Martha was there to be a role model for girls who fell in love, gave it a go, they hoped, and it didn't work out. Russell was trying to give us women a figure to show that just bc we loved, it blew up in our faces, and we walked away and moved on, we still had the right to be regarded as heroes. he wanted to show that there was nothing terrible or villainous about a woman who underwent such a circumstance. he acknowledged this, and for u to regard Martha as boring and not worthy of being given credit for her accomplishments and her awesomeness just bc of that, u missed the point of her and what she should mean to us girls and men. 6B) u show a scary thing about us women, and that's that we lose respect for other women just bc they have a crush and it didn't work out. the only time that I hold a crush against a person is if they let it weaken and kill them, but as long as u bore ur crush, attempted to recover after u might have embarrassed urself, it shows a greatness of spirit. we women and men are sometimes going to let our hearts get the better of us, and it may have taken some time to learn to walk away, but when we do, it takes much strength. 7) u didn't like her jealousy of the matron in family of blood, but rewatch the episode. Martha handled that better than any other person. try looking after a man u loved, seeing him fall in love with another woman, and then the woman is racist toward u the entire time? and then u save them all the while. 8) personally, I do not mind companions having a crush on the doctor, as long as they are single when they meet him and they are of a respectable age. the only crush i'm not keen on in newwho is rose's crush, and that's bc she was 19 when she met the doctor and still was 19 when he regenerated (if u go by the way time works in the tardis, she IS still 19). she may be legal, but when 19, ur still a kid, believe me. and as a person who began her writing career in young adult novels, we have learned that its never a good idea for a teenager and extremely older person (like a 900 year old alien who is a grandfather), to entertain romantic relationships. we realized that we send out bad messages that way. it's not my fault; I am physically incapable of supporting it bc we don't ever want to give that message. we've seen other writers make that mistake and it backfired. 9) in my first post, I spoke of all the things the doctor did wrong (that he would go on to admit) why is it ok, in ur eyes, for the doctor to do those things, but Martha's mistakes condemn her? again, I respect ur opinion, and we shall perhaps never agree, and we need to respect each other for that. good day.
As much as an amazing character she was I always kinda wish her fate was more akin to Sarah Jane's where she could've stuck on the show with more doctors. She was an equal protagonist to the Doctor imo
Lol ik i already commented but I'm rewatching and i've got more to say XD. Okay so those ones where people ask him (Donna particularly) about Rose and that lump in his throat... ugh. He was just so desperately and hopelessly in love. And it's so so sad.
it's been (maybe) two years since I've watched Ten but still, that look in his eyes when someone mentions Rose and when he said "her name was Rose" GOT ME RIGHT IN THE FEELS
"If a Timelord did that, he'd become a god, vengeful god" - sorry Doctor, but you absorbed the vortex and it killed you (forced to regenerate), so... I don't think so...
Well Rose didn't die when it left her, and I think he was referring to Omega of the classic series (not sure tho). Point is, it would sort of be like overcharging a battery, but a battery that could put itself back into a state of stability through the power of time manipulation (think the apple in doctor strange). Perhaps the doctor had put Rose into a state of stability (like how rose made Jack Harkness unable to die [a state of 'forever living']), but was unable to 'refresh' himself as the energy was leaving. If a time lord could manipulate all matter, I think its safe to say that he could keep himself from dying, but maybe it wont be until the energy's exit that time would catch up.
I love how in The Stolen Planet, when Donna says “why don’t you ask her yourself”, that is David’s actual reaction. He didn’t know Billie was coming back.
It's nice to think it's a reference to Rose. Although it hadn't occurred to me before your comment... but it's nice) despite the fact that they are not similar in other things
The 9th and 10th doctor may have 2 hearts but both of them belong to Rose. Martha Donna Amy none of those women can match Rose and the love the doctor feels for her. The only doctor who couple I will ever ship, doctor and rose forever.
THE 'BAD WOLF' SCENE GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS EVERYTIME OMG THERE ARE TEARS IN MY EYES AND MY SKIN IS CRAWLING AHHHH THE MUSIC WORKS SO WELL + TENNANT'S ACTING + DONNA'S PAUSES WAHHHH
this is why Russel T Davies is my favourite Doctor Who writer, mainly because he’s FANTASTIC, but he constantly made sure everyone never forgot about the companions from before. 11 sometimes mentions Amy and Rory but 10 ALWAYS mentions Rose. the new writers... well, they’re trying.
Yes, there will be Martha, Donna, Amy and other but there will be only one Rose, no one can take her place in the doctors life. This is what I say metamorphically.
And now we had her mentioned by Jack in Revolution of the Daleks!!! It's so nice the show still remembers her after so many years, she really was a special one
Rose is the only one the Doctor would just casually admit "We were together" about. Even with River he tends to keep what she is to him close to the chest, but even when it hurts he wants to shout his feelings for her to the world.
Rose went away So the Doctor is blue. Ask Donna, "Where's the Doctor?" She'll reply, "Doctor Who?" Sarah Jane, and Martha And now both the Ponds Had their fun with the Doctor And now their all gone. So ask me again Why the TARDIS is blue: There's a sad man inside With both hearts torn in two
Donna picked up rose's short in the tardis. That means that rose took of her shirt in the tardis. If rose took off her shirt in the tardis, then rose was shirtless in the tardis. I think we all know what that means! 😱😂

Fun fact: no one actually told David that Billie was coming back for it so when the doctor saw Rose he wasn’t acting and was genuinely that happy to see her.
I love how the first person the TARDIS shows Eleven when he asks for someone he likes is Rose. My shippers heart is very satisfied by that.
Shtoops _ But it's his reaction that gets me. “Thanks, give me guilt" 😆
Well Rose is only for 10
@@edbertextreme I call bullshit. Before 10 was 9 how they met, the Face she fell in love with Originally. Even if Rose was still around for 11,12 & 13 She will still help Emotionally help Humanize the Doctor... However...

Steve moffat confirmed that 11 doctor still loved rose after all that apart it doesn't matter if he changing into a woman
And that reminds me of myself, which is why I love him
Rose was a huge part of the Ninth recovering from being thne War Doctor and becoming The Doctor again.

She will be miss
For the first time I do feel sorry for Martha. She has it pretty rough with the Doctor. Kind of mirrors the audience with her actually, we were all comparing her to Rose and that's not fair.
Jibriltz She was SO SMART and clever. More so than most of the companions. I also feel bad for her.
Jibriltz Martha was 100000x better than Rose.
Same, after watching this I realise how much it must have sucked for her cause she basically was a rebound
Yeah cause she really liked the doctor and all the doctor ever did was talk about rose 😂
Jibriltz I like her, but we did just loose Rose, personally I didn’t compare them but you can’t really blame the doctor. He just lost his love.
Clariza Mae Sevilla same.. That's exactly what I was like..
Me too. The adipose episode where Donna talk to a blonde stranger and it turned out to be rose. I scream with joy and cried. Had to literally paused the episode.
I felt like that when David Tennant regenerated into Matt Smith and all the references to David Tennant’s Doctor saddened me so much...
The saddest part about doomsday was losing rose yes but what worse was the doctor didn't get to say I love you
It was like, with Rose, he never mentioned his previous companions.

I remember when Donna said bad wolf I ran around my house yelling what the heck this is amazing
Oh that scene gives goosebumps every time
Rose and the 10th Doctor have been my OTP for over a decade.
Brittany Presley I loved ninth....
Yes it had to be that way it was nice ending for rose cause that doctor gets to grow old with her and the tenth doctor didn't say it cause he knew rose would of stayed with him and he would of outlived her sad for the doctor but it had to be that way that's the curse if the timelords
1:15 to 1:41 hurts so badly. He looks so heartbroken. Like he's going to cry.
Well. He is heartbroken. It's so so obvious he was going to tell her he loved her. But he didn't even get to do that. And he thinks he'll never see her again. Imagine how heartbreaking that would feel. It hurts for us TenRose shippers. It must be much worse for him.
Mik Hamnett I was alot
you'd think it'd show a scene of the 9th Doctor dancing with her
Mik Hamnett he did cry
not to mention in the story's timeline this is only hours from when he lost her and said his goodbyes
Dude that Donna scene when she talks about meeting rose gave me chills
This makes me so sad. He really did love her :(
However, I do feel really sorry for Martha when I watch these moments back.
And the fact that she remembers him mentioning Rose and asks him about her when they meet again shows how much she cares (though, let's be fair, she probably couldn't not remember Rose's name since the Doctor was so (understandably) upset when she first met him a year and a bit prior)
And...I'm going to stop now because I'll be here all day, otherwise.
If the Doctor wasn’t shot by the Dalek they would of kissed.
Pepper pot of a dalek 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jerryjezza Berry apart from the moon and if he wasn’t there she would have died anyway
Martha’s a bit ungrateful he’s taking her there for nothing
I hope the show continues to mention rose it makes it really special

"That name keeps me fighting" I MISS TEN AND ROSE :(
When 10 is talking about having dinner at the Powell Estate, he says "My friend she had this family, well they were..." and he cuts himself off I always believed he was about to say well they were my family too.

Rose was mentioned so many times
People can say what they want but i believe that Rose made the biggest impact of all the companions, Rose was part of him and always will be
i think people have a tendency to oversimplify rtd’s characters, when they were anything but simple.
the doctor was trying to bury his feelings as a opposed to allowing himself to grieve, which backfired as it just made it more difficult for him to move on and manifested as headassery towards martha.
martha actually for the most part was pretty strong about this. she never forced herself on him or anything. however, that’s not to say she was completely innocent - the reaction she has to jack and ten celebrating the fact that rose isn’t dead and talking about their friend was kind of insensitive. like the ‘oh she was blonde’ was quite a mean jab given how much ten was hurting.
but then again, he never took the time to explain who rose was and what happened to her, he never opened up about his feelings, so i can’t really blame martha for not understanding a situation she barely knew anything about.
in addition, it’s interesting to see how ten acts differently with donna. he knows by s4 that he didn’t treat martha well and that their friendship never grew properly bc he never learned to trust her and never opened up about anything to her. so with donna, we see a more open and thus happy ten. he finally allows himself to open up to someone, which is what allows his friendship with donna to be so strong.
it’s also nice to see how ten and martha’s friendship has grown into something special in s4 as they’re no longer stuck in their unhealthy situation.
as you can see, i could probably write a dissertation on the rtd era. didn’t mean for this to get so long lol
@@mimiHTcat I'd read that.
Ugh that "oh she was blonde" thing really pissed me off. Can you imagine loosing the love of your life, the one person that was there for you after you've lost your entire family and then have someone come along and say something like that about them just because they were jealous you didn't love them. I started violently sobbing at 1:52 when his voice cracked.
All the doctor did in the 3rd season was mope around about rose.
9) in my first post, I spoke of all the things the doctor did wrong (that he would go on to admit) why is it ok, in ur eyes, for the doctor to do those things, but Martha's mistakes condemn her?
again, I respect ur opinion, and we shall perhaps never agree, and we need to respect each other for that. good day.
I don't think I realised at the time but wow, Martha must've felt like utter shit whenever the Doctor kept bringing up Rose and how perfect she is
As much as an amazing character she was I always kinda wish her fate was more akin to Sarah Jane's where she could've stuck on the show with more doctors. She was an equal protagonist to the Doctor imo

I didn't need my heart anyways =(
"If a Timelord did that, he'd become a god, vengeful god" - sorry Doctor, but you absorbed the vortex and it killed you (forced to regenerate), so...
If a time lord could manipulate all matter, I think its safe to say that he could keep himself from dying, but maybe it wont be until the energy's exit that time would catch up.
well i think it both kills you AND gives you omnipotent power
he was so in love :( still hurts
i miss so much rose....
Rose is Rose, no one can replace ❤️ Rose💗
5:55 to 6:50 was the BEST build-up in the entirety of Doctor Who. The tension, the fear in the Doctor's face, the music... This scene is binge-able.
When Donna said "bad wolf" his reaction was priceless
god the 1:50 . he genuinely sound like he's going to burst in to tears
Yo the way laughed with Capt Jack and #10 when he told him that she was alive...it brought back all my joy for this show. I love Doctor Who
That grin on his face when he says "yeah", though.
My heart hurts
I love how in The Stolen Planet, when Donna says “why don’t you ask her yourself”, that is David’s actual reaction. He didn’t know Billie was coming back.
Yes the Doctor really loved Rose. Even 11 and12 mentioned her.
2:20 this actually broke me.
“We were together...”
😳😕🙁☹️😧😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Martha’s such a sweetheart she kept him sane after that heartbreak and she suffered from it 💔💔❤️👑
I find it heartwarming that jack, out of all his busy time with torchwood etc. Took the time to visit rose now and again.
The ironic part is that the chick he regenerates into is blonde.
It's nice to think it's a reference to Rose. Although it hadn't occurred to me before your comment... but it's nice) despite the fact that they are not similar in other things
@@catalina12_ oh noo definitely not lol i was reaching w this one, prolly just a coincidence
He always loves her
casually breaking my heart
this is why Russel T Davies is my favourite Doctor Who writer, mainly because he’s FANTASTIC, but he constantly made sure everyone never forgot about the companions from before. 11 sometimes mentions Amy and Rory but 10 ALWAYS mentions Rose. the new writers... well, they’re trying.
This is so heartbreak. I love Rose Tyler she was my favourite
I love when the Doctor and jack were talking about rose being still alive and her theme song comes up. It’s so subtle but it’s nice :*) @4:10
This video is 4 years old?! How have I never seen it before! I’ve already watched it twice. Fantastic! Incredible! Brilliant! Love it!
Rose went away
So the Doctor is blue.
Ask Donna, "Where's the Doctor?"
She'll reply, "Doctor Who?"
Sarah Jane, and Martha
And now both the Ponds
Had their fun with the Doctor
And now their all gone.
So ask me again
Why the TARDIS is blue:
There's a sad man inside
With both hearts torn in two
What episode was the second one with Eleven in the clip (the one where he's saying help Rose Tyler with her homework)
It's in season six, second to last episode if I remember correctly
+Zbob11 I think wedding of River Song
Zbob11 Ah Thanks
I think Rose was probably one of the greatest loves of the Doctor's many lifetimes.
Donna picked up rose's short in the tardis. That means that rose took of her shirt in the tardis. If rose took off her shirt in the tardis, then rose was shirtless in the tardis. I think we all know what that means! 😱😂
You remember her bringing along a big pack? Yeah, remember?
It was her jacket not her shirt god
Maria 101 you like Dodie and Dr who.
Well she was fucking dressing up in the consol room at the beginning of tooth and claw so..yeah xD
wolfymane no it was her shirt, the blue and purple one that she wore in new earth
