my refrigirator was not cooling at all however the freezer was working due to ice buildup I installed the kit. The refrigirator was up to temperature by the next day, has been working properly ever since. , Thank you for a great vidio and product.. note if you can defrost your fridge for a couple of days to remove all ice buildup it will make your job easier,,,,

I had a clog in the drain tube behind the rear access panel. Everyone should check these tubes first. The water backed up completely to the fridge drip pan behind the plastic twin cool panel. I will now check these tubes periodically.

Can u post a close-up pic for the right side electrical connection? What is the best position of the new blue connector? From the video, the blue connector is added closed to the wall connector. Also if I buy the kit with the sensor, what is the recommended sensor position either at the top of the evaporator center 1st row or should I use it as suggested in the video?

Nice Video!!! Is this available in the United States and will it fit on a RF23HCEDBSR/AA (version 8) since my evaporate pipes look a little different from that. Look like a better product that the flexible heaters I have seen installed.....

Since there seems to be a variety of models that have this issue will this coil work for the RB195ACPN model, S/N - Y4D64ADB400668X. I'm just trying to confirm before I order, install and then realize it doesnt work.

I bought it and installed 29/08/21. Checked and appears to be getting warm. Compared to the actual defrost heater, it’s just warm. I will wait to see results.

My bad, looked at a different wire from another spot. Got the spices put on, both clicked, the clipped the cap on it. I hope this works as advertised, we have been cleaning and defrosting for 2 years! Got it down to 17 minutes, but it's a pain. I will update in 2 weeks when we pull everything out to check if it is working. Fingers crossed!!!!

Just listen to the fan and save yourself the trouble. May I suggest you do a force defrost every 2 weeks or to to help prevent buildup.

The temperature range for working heater is between 200 to 300 F

Looks simple but I just bought the item and it came with metal ties where should I connect them to
The metal ties are instead of older plastic ones, you just wrap the heater with it, insert the end to its hole and bend it to opposite side.

I have samsung side by side, I do not have a plug on the left only on the right side, can I used this item and if so how do I connect the wires
This kit designed for french doors models and cannot be installed on side by side models unfortunately

Please help 🙏. I don't see any frost built up on my coils or near wiring. I replaced evap fan nd my fridge still won't cool 😒 stuck at 45 degrees and panel shows 34...

if your refrigerator totally warm and the coils doesn't get cold or frozen, I would suggest to get professional diagnose, as to me sounds like sealed system issue unfortunately.
