Man I love the 96, 98 Honda cr I love the yellow and red graphics when I was a teenager I wanted a250 so bad but ended up getting a 96 cr125, my buddy has a rm 125 lol but man I loved that bike I lived on an old farm and it was great I'm 35 now seems do long ago

how much maintenance is a cr 250 Ive always wanted one and now I'll probably be getting one and I'm used to 4 strokes. I know about rebuilding but my buddy said there's lots of maintenance
Not a lot but a little more than the 4 strokes because they are a little more delicate

how often do you guys rebuild your bikes because I had my rm 125 for about 2 months before it's motor blew
I never really keep my bikes long enough to have to rebuild them, but usually every couple years.
here in finland we say rm:ässä on vetoja!! and that means rm have so much power...

Great 2 stroke bikes! I only have 2 strokes. I Had a CRF250X and sold it because it was a pile of crap! I own, a 2000 YZ250, 2001 KX250, 2003 RM250, 2000 YZ125, and a 2001 YZ125. The real dirt bikes will always be the 2 stroke. I am a dirt bike mechanic and will tell you if you want the best all around dirt bike stick with the older 2 strokes. The new fangled 4 strokes will for sure "stroke your wallet!" It was the industries way of getting you back in the shop for repairs and maintenance. Don't believe the hype! the new 4 strokes are a ticking time bomb waiting to rip valuable hard earned cash from your wallet! Truth said! There was no EPA issue! The industry drummed it up!

I'll be 14 at the end of the month I might get a dirt bike for Christmas, what is a good bike for me?
@@ryatri3516 Great choice, I think it would be easier for you to get an older 80 not an 85. Easier to maintain too. My first bike was an 88 yz80 I bored it to 95cc and it had some power 👌🤘

I like 2 stroke because they are easier to maneuver, and a lot lighter for quick turns.

Brady Smith My CR 125 has had the spark plug changed once and the tranny oil. A pretty reliable machine.

You can wheelie in any gear as long as you are in the power band and you pop the clutchs
On 2 strokes you dont need to use the clutch just lift it up in power band becaus thats what i do
how much faster would a 99 cr250r be then a 2014 crf150r..and is there any difference between a cr250r and a cr250
roush mustang I'm guessing around between 10 and 20mph faster. And no there isn't a difference
Alright thx.. the reason I'm asking is because I own a 150 and I'm kinda disappointed with it. It makes good power and is loud but idk it's just small.
roush mustang if it's too short for you go with a 2 stroke. 2 strokes are a lot taller.

+BRAGGING RIGHTS he means letting the engine wind down. 2 strokes need fuel to enter the crank case and resume the cycle through the motor to ensure good lubrication. No gas = No oil. Engine seizure waiting to happen. Exhaust bridges don't like getting hot. Fool.

Your house looks so nice, I know thats kinda odd but I love the open area with the nice lawns and few houses it looks nice and secluded. I live in a pretty private area with land but its very wooded I like the area you live in better with the openness.

mow neighbors lawns, take out their trash, pick up dog poop, etc. A 125cc or smaller. Honda or Yamaha are good choices.

It all depends on height and weight I am 12 and 5'9 or 5'10 and weigh 80 pounds and I ride a cr85 also for jobs I work on neighbors farms
get what ever you can get in your budget of you can find a old cheap bike that runs good get the basics down then move up

You can have a dt125 that will smoke 125 motocross bikes as I know as raced 1 on my cr 125 in a straight line. IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW FAR YOU WANT TO GO WITH TUNING YOUR BIKES.?.
