You’ve all done a wonderful job for Gi & PawPaw - it’s hard on everyone to see how distressed elders get just for the fact that it’s hard for them to do any work like they used to. I know how much they appreciate your efforts and how much they love you all❣️. Thanks, Ben, for this❣️
I like when you talk, you give us pertinent information and I thank you for that. Keeping everyone in Houston and everyone affected by the bad weather and flooding in my prayers. Keep us updated when you can Ben.
Ben, thank you for being the one that updates us on the inner workings of the Hill. Most of the audience of the other channels are to much into the animals and they don't really want to see the human side of what happens. Lester has talked about it and it breaks my heart because Lester seems to be the solid truck of the family tree right now. And honestly we all should care about the people more. We all should care about how well they are surviving because the animals know how to deal with mother nature as an instinct. Animals don't care about anything other than knowing how to survive. I thank you for telling us about the human side of things. Personally, I am not an average audience member. I never come down hard on any creator like so many do that causes stress. I hate those people, actually. We are just observers. We should not have opnipns on how things are run unless asked. People need to know their place and it's not to judge the people that work so hard to get videos to us. Anyways, thank you, Ben. This is very much appreciated! ❤
Ben and all the Morrow family sending prayers and positive energy that there’s no more flooding. Thank you for the videos update sending love and positive energy☮️❤️
Thankyou Ben for some of the history of flooding at Morrow Hill. Pawpaw and Gigi are so thankful you all cane together to get them moved back into there home. Evacuation plan is a great idea for everyone on the Hill. Have a wonderful day Ben. 😊
Dear Ben, first have to express this: You are an amazing, intelligent but above all, a loving son, grandson, brother, cousin, friend to all in need. This update is an intellectual account of facts that helps us understand what your families have been through and what possibly the families might consider. It's up to them and I'm grateful for the introduction of more family members this trying flood brought up. The Herculean effort your family took leaves, me in awe of you all. ❤❤❤
I'm amazed on the progress you all have gotten done . Your family have so much love for each other and for the animals. Praying Bennett I love how you tell a story.
Oh Ben, I loved your demonstration of being attacked by mosquitoes, lol. Exactly what it’s like. You’re a wonderful member of your family. Thank you for all you do! God bless you! Love from Canadice NY ❤
Ben I’m so worried as there’s been no post from anyone about how the storms affected everyone ….Thank you for sharing the history of where and why the houses are today
Good Friday morning, Ben ! I enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing the history on the flooding on Morrow Hills. Thank you for the updates. All the family worked so great together inside Paw Paw and Gigi's home to get them back inside to live. Thank you for everything you are doing for them. You are an amazing grandson. Have a blessed 🙏 💖 day. 🤗
Good Morning Ben, I really appreciate the history on Morrow Hill I am praying no flooding this go round in raining in the area 🛐🙏🛐 Thank you so much keep us posted 🙏👍🏼
Hey Ben .. you’re a wealth of knowledge. I was thinking the same thing. It’s like putting a band-aid on a big problem. You’ve got to raise certain homes or go to higher ground. Most important it to stay safe ..,everyone.
Love your videos, thanks for helping your Pop and GIGI. You have been working very hard to help them get the things back to how they like it. When you are older it effect’s them so much harder then if they were younger. You have been a great help to them. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really love to hear you talk Ben,you have a calming voice.I am so impressed with your knowledge of so much, and especially of your love and loyalty to your family and Pawpaw and Gigi, they really are blessed to have you,as you all are to have each other❤❤Prayers for you all,and this next storm!
Ben, have y'all thought about sand bagging G's house? It would be alot of work but could potentially save their home. I enjoy all of the Morrow family videos.
If you move animals makes sure the feed goes too and a water/feed trough, this should be done before water gets past Heidi's swimhole. Then start packing things to higher grounds but move things that hold a place in your heart to higher place. Plan for clean up have a plan to get supplies and make rag burn torches to place or get mosquitoes spray or bombs for yards.
Ben, I was 5 years old when Hurricane Carla came through Baytown. I was traumatized by the big storms until I along with my two young children went through Hurricane Alicia out on Trinity Bay alone in our wood frame house. My husband was required to be at the plant for storm coverage. After that storm, I started sleeping through the big storms. I had kept a manila folder of information and tracking maps. Newspaper coverage clippings of all known storms etc... My family joked that if a tropical wave even formed by Africa or maxico, they could count on me to have already started tracking it. Once you face your fear, and there are others who count on you to be strong for them, nothing else rattles you when faced with the same situation again. You will do the same after this. Take it in stride. You know what must be done, and how to do it. Floods will come, but life will go on. Stay strong.
Someone I used to work with, always put a dryer sheet in his pocket. He swore it helped a lot. I rub my mint or rosemary plants. It helps but it does wear off. I plant Basil near my front door every year to help keep them away, Citronella plants are also great plants to keep around. They may even grow back, most of the time, in the Houston area. They are easy to propagate from cuttings.
You are such a sweet and intelligent young man. What a wonderful blessing you are to your family. I was in 5th grade with your mom. Good childhood memories of Tina and all the family😊
You have done a lot of research and living through this. You have been a magnificent help. I feel your concern for future flooding. It would be awesome if somehow there could be major spraying for the mosquitoes. But don't know where to even start with that. Praying for some sunshine to dry things up.
I’ve been watching the weather channel on all the floods that is still going on in parts of Texas. Praying Morrow Hill is spared. Don’t think poor GiGi can take another flooded house. Prayers for all those in Houston from floods and high wind damage. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Lessons learned: How about a relay system of picking a half-way point between Plum Grove and LHL to meet Lester and hand-off a trailer with animals and he hands off an empty one would make it less stressful for everyone.... and the Morrow Hill residents not resisting in the future, start that days out as a precaution. That makes people look smart; not silly... But what about the houses, Ben, seems everyone waits too long and then runs leaving nothing picked up. Has there been any brainstorming about what can be done in a more precaution way? Surely it can't be a shoulder shrug. Jake/Lyssa could have saved most their downstairs furniture if they have put it up on next level. A coordinated plan as a family might be in order. Family meeting, egos at the door? Build a new structure about 20' in the air that's like a big long warehouse with a pulley system to get furniture and boxes stored in it quickly; purchase (or you already have)4 flatbed wagon attachments that sit down in the pasture ready to be loaded with furniture, appliances run up on them and pulled out of there for safety. It's going to happen again.... and again.... and again. Climate has changed; it's a new pattern now.
PawPaw seems to believe it’ll all be just fine. He left all those cows to die on Lester’s fence line. Like the cow that fell into a well where they buried a house that died during Hurricane Harvey. I know that flooding wasn’t expo but you all know it is now. Maybe PawPaw should scale back his farm animals if he can no longer keep them safe and get them out when in danger.
Actually BEN, I greatly enjoyed and appreciated your history of the homes on the hills and particularly your GIGI & PAW PAWS HOME . . . You answered a few of my queries which I didn’t consider asking anyone whilst they were trying to come to terms with the flood plus, the resultant clean up and I’m so glad I didn’t add to everyone’s STRESS at that sad time😨 You BEN are a wonderful and awesome SON & GRANDSON TO YOUR RELATIVES🤗 May our HEAVENLY FATHER BLESS YOU FOR YOUR HELP😍🙏🏻
I think the people need to go to the county, state, corp of engineers to try to get some flood control going on! Maybe the insurance companies too?! It never flooded much until the subdivisions moved in and changed the drainage and took out the culverts and bridge right around the corner!! Somebody needs to get complaining Lester tried several years ago but now it’s crucial for the residents of plum grove and surrounding land!!
Thsnk you Ben for the flood info on past floods on the hill and the plans y’all are x talking about. For future evacuations which is definitely needed so everyone has their plan in effect and all that will be needed for animal food snd care and where those animals will go ! Also transportation plans and having a plan which areas the animals will go to , also once y’all know the flood is coming not waiting to transport the animals to safety !! I’m glad y’all are talking now so everyone is in agreement now and making it plain that anyone who doesn’t want to transport their animals once flood is announced those will be the last animals transported so as that no one else’s animals are put in jeopardy because of someone having doubts , just say ok then you wait but all other animals will be transported before the hold out family is transported , no need for everyone to have to wait once a plan is in place !! Thanks Ben snd God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
Love your videos Ben...You do a really good job of giving us the history of Morrow Hill....I sure hope it doesn't flood again this week. I know this has been a really stressful time for you and your entire family...Thank you for keeping us informed....I really love when you and Jake make videos together ❤ Stay Safe ❤
Ben, so happy to know that Lester is requesting an early evacuation. It was insane that you guys had to work yourselves to exhaustion everytime their's a flood. Please take care of yourselves. Prayers and Blessings to you all❣️

I'm praying the storm don't cause more damage ,Houston had a tornado and some lost there lives so sad ,Texas weather is iffy like Oklahoma and even Tennessee
Great video Ben. I have respect for you after seeing you down on your knees cutting carpet out of Gigis house. Well done son. Please take the family lead to make sure every family on Morrow Hill gets an iron clad evacuation plan. Everyone should stop bringing in more new animals to a flood zone. It is crazy to keep rebuilding in a flood zone. Ben your mom and dad was smart to move away from Plum Grove. Jake and Lyssa who are expecting a new baby soon are crazy to rebuild his place and put his new family at great risk. LE and Megan are also foolish to stay on Morrow Hill. Everyone knows the definition of insanity is to continue to repeat what you’ve done in the past and expect a different result. Ben please keep us posted on any progress that Morrow Hill families make on setting an evaluation plan. God bless you and your family Ben.
The plan is exactly what I said needs to happen because it will happen again. We need more horse trailers on the compound to load animals for evac. This last time was very scary as the roads were flooded. Count the number of animals and have trailers to load them at once or within 6 hours. Lester and Jamie can handle the feeding once there. When the flood was there, some goats needed rescue by boat. Can't yall do a family meeting to address this? I don't know Ben. Family dynamics come into play here. Great video. Everyone has the best intentions and work together no matter what so that's a plus but it can't be scrambling, ya know?
Thank you Ben for all your help and input into this flooding situation. It is a very big worry. I pray for all of you every single day. I love you and your family so much ❤️ 💜 💕 💗 🌴🌴🌴🌴 aloha tee
Very interesting flood info Ben. I did notice Paw and Gee didn’t have a sink in their bathroom. I find this so odd in this day and age and not very hygienic. 🤷♀️
Kim said your grandparents house need new outlines threw the house that there all very loose maybe you could get Paw Paw on fixing them before another fire happens
So, Glad you all are looking at this! I agree if you know this happens and have animals you need a way to move to dry land the more the better! Less trips and time saved water is rising. Now homes I have no idea to fix that?
I love this Ben. I have a cousin that has all of my family history. I'm really looking to your channel for updates on everything going on. I can't watch every single video from the fam so I appreciate you for that!
Lester & Jami were more than happy to be able to care for everyone's animals, Ben. When they purchased the property at LHL, it was with every intention of being there for the animals & the family members in case of horrific flooding. I remember their conversations & plans at that time. I also heard them discussing it during the recent flood.
I agree that they were more than happy to accept the animals of the family no matter how many, but I think what stressed them out was having to be the one to try and get those animals to the other properties last minute when it could have been initiated a bit earlier than the last minute. That’s how I understood it, I could be wrong though.
Morrow’s is a Beautiful Caring Family … the History of generations living on Morrow Hill is how Family 🩸 sticks together. Your negativity from comments don’t phase them, they are Morrows Strong ! Be kind …. It’s hard for some ppl maybe if you had a family like the Morrows you wouldn’t be!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤🫶🏻🙏🏻
Hi Ben my name is Sally and I feel so sad for you because I can feel the hurt in your voice for your family and for what you've gone through with these horrible storms I don't know if you have a chance but if you can look towards the way to European specially the Swedish people the Dutch the way they built for floods you might be able to take a good some good advice from them because obviously these floods aren't gonna happen and I know when your heart that one day you'd like to live at Moreau Hill but I'm so sorry for what you're going to bed anyways signing off from Sally from Oshua Ontario in Canada I'm very sad for you
Interesting to learn more of the flooding & family history Ben,thanks. Just wondering,as everyone is earning a nice bit of extra money these days from social media, would pooling funds & buying a joint piece of family land out of the flood plain be an option? Y’all could cross-fence as necessary, just would need an acre or two per person for temporary while flood water is on Morrow Hill & then animals could be kept temporarily safe. Who knows by the time the next flood rolls around (please God,not anytime soon (or ever) 🙏) but some of y’all could have more animals,or animals that can’t go together in pastures,or even lester might have more animals himself & less space available. Maybe there’s a small piece of land a bit closer too? Out of harm’s way,but not so far as lhl’s is,for transporting animals in a hurry & such a long ride back & forth . Maybe it’s not a viable option for whatever reasons, but i know that that’s what i would do. If y’all went a little bigger than a cple acres each, somewhere that could be everyone’s hay crop would be good too?
I loved hearing the history of living on Morrow Hill. Yes everyone needs their own evacuation plan and their own horse trailers to move the animals. I pray it won’t be needed for many years. Be safe and God bless you ❤
You’ve all done a wonderful job for Gi & PawPaw - it’s hard on everyone to see how distressed elders get just for the fact that it’s hard for them to do any work like they used to. I know how much they appreciate your efforts and how much they love you all❣️. Thanks, Ben, for this❣️

Bennett you all are on my mind I'm thinking of you!😊🕯🧡💜🧡
Ben, on a personal note, your hair looks much better just natural. Keep up the good work.
Someone I used to work with, always put a dryer sheet in his pocket. He swore it helped a lot.
I rub my mint or rosemary plants. It helps but it does wear off. I plant Basil near my front door every year to help keep them away,
Citronella plants are also great plants to keep around. They may even grow back, most of the time, in the Houston area. They are easy to propagate from cuttings.

Prayers for you and Morrow Hill Family 🙏🙏 Hopefully this time won't be as bad 🙏🥺 All of you and your Family please be Safe and Healthy 💝 Prayers 🩵😊💞

Ben get a mosquito hat with the netting hanging down to your shoulders but still spray arms, legs
I love your videos Ben❤ so informative !
Your history lesson of Morrow Hill was very interesting. I love family stories and how they settled in hometowns.

Thank you for the detail update. Your help has been so valuable for your grandparents.
I think the people need to go to the county, state, corp of engineers to try to get some flood control going on! Maybe the insurance companies too?! It never flooded much until the subdivisions moved in and changed the drainage and took out the culverts and bridge right around the corner!! Ben, so happy to

Hi Ben it's true everyone needs an evacuation plan. I saw it was treacherous getting the animals out.
Hi Ben, you are so good for being there for your grandparents maybe you can a voice of reason for rebuilding Pawpaw a man cave/barndominium up on much higher ground.
Everyone is saying they are waiting for the soil to dry to be able to fix the fences.
‼️👍Thank you, Ben, for the information. It's good to know and, as you said, have a plan, especially for the animals 😊‼️
Thank you for this video! It was very educational!! I once went to visit a family living by a lake, and the mosquitoes were horrible. The mom and dad said in the morning they would put an organic lotion on every day that repelled the mosquitoes. They could sit outside with no problem. It was just a daily routine.😮
You are a walkingbook of knowledge, i know its on video, but you need to write this down too, you future family will thank you. Thanks for sharing the history. Stay safe 🙏✌️🌦️🚶♀️🙏
That was a great historical summary, Ben! Thx for sharing. It really put things into perspective.
Thank you for keeping us informed Ben ❤. We greatly appreciate you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi Ben. That was a good talk. Thanks for all the information. And thank you for all you did and are doing for everyone.
I'm praying the storm don't cause more damage ,Houston had a tornado and some lost there lives so sad ,Texas weather is iffy like Oklahoma and even Tennessee

Thanks Ben. I know this is very stressful for you to talk about. It shows how much you really care ❤❤
Yes Ben, the history was interesting, thank you.

Very interesting flood info Ben. I did notice Paw and Gee didn’t have a sink in their bathroom. I find this so odd in this day and age and not very hygienic. 🤷♀️

Love your updates. Keep up with your information you a great reporter.

Thanks Ben.❤
Praying no more floods .You are a Trooper Be. ,thank you for taking care of The Monarch’s GiGi,PawPaw .❤❤❤

Good video Ben, lots of info, appreciate it! Watching from Michigan.
Interesting Ben. Thanks
I loved hearing the history of living on Morrow Hill. Yes everyone needs their own evacuation plan and their own horse trailers to move the animals. I pray it won’t be needed for many years. Be safe and God bless you ❤
