I did not expect a fully wielded handle, but then again, this is the detail we expect from a Made in Japan product.
I guess once you have that articulated arm, it's not a big stretch to wield the whole handle instead of 2 points.

Pretty sure the wok I have came out of that factory. Really good wok. I like the no rivets, all one piece.,.....not counting that triangle part they welded on.

I own two of their woks. One is a 12 inch and the other, a 14 inch. They are the best woks you can buy for the money.

На данном видео я вижу то, что у нас ( в Союзе) было примерно в середине 90х годов, это называлось кооператив.
Большая доля ручного и мускульного труда.
Это не люди на линии, а сверхтехнологичные роботы, не отличимые от людей! Это же Япония!
Ага, с одной лишь разницей, делали как попало и абы из чего. Так вы ничего и не поняли в производстве до сих пор.
А на этой линии и не нужны роботы, вы путаете, им дешевле людей поставить чем роботов.

I would have thought China or India could be left making them so manually, but seems I'm wrong. Wonder what is the substance they spray on the woks become baking them at the end of the process.

Japanese stuff in the 50’s and 60’s was comparable to today’s Chinese stuff, or even worse. China will get there eventually.

跟我在大陸廣東某鍋具工廠看到的相比落後好多......做個鍋柄還要走五道工序...從第二道沖壓出樣就可以一次成型 對於最後焊接加固那道工序想必是初代產品有接到很多斷柄投訴才增加的一道工序吧..其實在鍋柄沖壓成型的時候壓一個加固環進去就可以了.....及時更新設備不光能減少近一半的工序,還可以減低成本提高生產效率...
日本でこの作り方をして採算が出ることが驚き、料理の素人の目には分からない付加価値があるんだろう
