Fixing Fluidmaster Toilet Flush | Fishbowlproduction

I turned off the main water supply to the house since I was going to be away from my home a few days. In coming back, my toilet was not flushing. Wasn't a new issue, this exact thing had happed once before and I found out the seal in the fill valve was not functioning. So, I got to work with none other than my daughter. Decided to start the video by explaining how the flush system works just in case someone out there needed to know but then I go into the actual issue - changing the seal.

good day mate. how has you're "valve seal" been holding up? my toilet started the "same damn thing as yours" was doing! i heard a strange noise and i was like.......wth is that? so then i realized it was coming from the tank on the toilet. can't even take a crap in piece. smh. i watche you're other vids where you were installing the toilet fill valve, then i found this one too. please let me know how you're valve seal" has been holding up. i did sub to the channel. cheers from memphis tn.

It’s been holding really good and hope I did not just jinx it :). Just the valve replacement did not last very long. It did the job but only for a few weeks. Then I changed the whole assembly and that worked out really great. I know it’s frustrating. I have another bathroom that has flapper issue that I need to fix asap. Good luck.

@@thisisfbp good day. i just replaced the 242 Toilet Fill Valve Seal and mine is working fine as of now! if i have "any issues", i will let you know. thanks for the kind reply and the vid.

@@stevehill666 That is just awesome. Just this week, I ended up replacing my old toilet fill valve in the other bathroom with a Fluidmaster 400A. Hope yours continues to work for ages.
