I have always leaned towards buying fruits and vegetables at traders or Whole Foods. Since turning on to your videos and learning where my food actually comes from I now only buy at farmers market or farm stands. Thanks 🙏
Joel recently did a video showing you all outside having fun, playing games, laughing and carrying on. It would be nice to see more of how your family has fun, unwinds, etc.
One of my favorite things is Aunt Becky and Callie’s “annnnd girlssss!” It swells my ole grandma’s heart 🫶🏼 right up. Thank you all so much for sharing your precious family. God bless you all. ~Lisa
Hello, as the Big Giant Pumpkins grow, you need to put foam board on a Pallett and place the growing pumpkin on top of it so as it grows really Big, you can use a forklift to pick it up or a tractor. Thats what the farmers do around here. In Massachusetts. where we grow 2000 pound pumpkins for Topsfield fair
I home schooled my 2 kids for first 5 years of their education. We did a lot of garden projects as well as animals. My daughter loved her chickens even hatched a batch. They are all grown now so no more animals. I miss the chickens so I never get tired of you feeding them and collecting the eggs.
I think the very complete picking is also helping. Overripe tomatoes that they left in the field probably attracted animals which would move disease through the planting.
New here… seriously impressed with your ‘camera presence’ and how smoothly you talk/share info! Really appreciate your positive attitude and enthusiasm. I’m a northerner living down south now, so it’s lovely to see PA and the seasons up there! (We’ve got some extended family in your county)
Central PA here for 4 years, glad you found the Veggie Channel! There are an amazing family and grow produce to die for🫑🌽🌶️🥒🥬🥦🫛🍆🥔🍉. Their videos are wonderful😊
I look forward to your family farm videos........enjoy them so very much. Was born on a farm, but now live in a small town with a small yard. Really do miss the farm even though I garden as much as possible. Love seeing all of the family working in the fields. Learned how to stop the waste of my tomatoes from you. Thank you. Having a good harvest this year, happy to see that. Watching family members from Pop Pop all the way down to the newest makes me smile. Hope to see many more videos.
Andrew, perhaps the tomato plants are putting on blossoms and looking better because picking the tomatoes, ripe and turning is taking stress off the plants. With less tomatoes on the vines, the plant can redirect that energy?? I love growing and canning tomatoes. I also can corn and beans, but with a small garden, I buy the rest of my produce from our local Amish farmers.
That was a LOT of pumpkins! Made me think about Becky going through preserving hers so she could freeze the pumpkin and use it all year around. Yum. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of room in my apartment to store things, but it's fun thinking about being able to make things in the dead of winter or spring before everything starts growing again. Love seeing the family ending! 😊
Hello Veggie People 👋, when my friend asked if she could learn how to can, I told her the rules about hot peppers before you start cutting. She rubbed her eye😳. We had to stick her head into the sink and wash it out! Useing gloves you can take them off , so goes the heat👍. I love the colors of the peppers ! The Pumpkins are so nice and plump🎉. You couples should have a pumpkin carving contest with the giants! Your babies are growing fast😍. JO JO IN VT 💞
I missed the bye byes from the whole gang. Thanks guys, you worked extremely hard today and it showed. Beautitul vegetable ls and fruit, stunning pumkins❤❤
That's a lot of beautiful produce. The only antidote I have found for hot peppers when eaten is Del a Rosa marzipan if you're not allergic to peanuts and you can have sugar. Glad to see your family having such a good harvest.
Gonna need the skidsteer or Joel's tractor with the bail grabbers. Probably bucket and skidsteer for the monster pumpkins. Put them on a pallet then use the forks to put on the truck.
Absolutely love seeing the whole family involved in the harvest! The teamwork, the love for farming, and the hard work are truly inspiring. Great job, Veggie Boys and Girls! 🌽🚜
Andrew, Didi I ever tell you the story about the garden snail? WELL, Once upon a time there was a fancy French restaurant. Out back, the chef had a garden. In this garden lived a snail. Each & every morning, the chef would come out into the garden & pick only the finest snails for that night’s menu. The snail in our story wanted for all the world to be selected because it would prove that he too was the best. But, morning after morning he was passed by. Finally, this snail had had enough. So, he went downtown to the Cadillac dealership where he bought himself the biggest, longest white Cadillac on the lot. Then, he told the salesman to take it to the service department and have them paint a big red S on both doors. The salesman did as he was instructed & when he delivered the car to the snail he asked what the red S was all about. Well, said the snail, when I drive down the street I want everyone who sees me drive by say ‘Man oh Man, look at that S car go’ !
We don’t drink milk for the burn from hot chilis …. We put a 1/4 slice of bread on our tongues to absorb the heat. This works better than anything else we’ve tried. Lots of us in Southwest are born and raised here and have tried many things, lol.
We're having a bear problem in the North Carolina county where we have a Christmas Tree farm. Both City and County elected leaders have asked for no outdoor fresh pumpkin or corn stalk displays this fall. Same with the Tennessee county's on the other side of the mountain. No fines....yet, but unrestricted garbage can cost you $2,500.
Love your videos! Didn’t start watching until this spring, but have been sharing them with my kids and my wife. My kids have gardens as I do and we learn things that are helpful even for the small amount of ground we plant on. Thank you. Nice family. You all are very lucky and I suspect you all know this already!
I look forward to watching your videos, every day! When I was about 10 or 11, a friend of my parents got me a job working on a local vegetable farm in the summertime, to earn a little extra money for the family. I picked strawberries for about 25 cents a quart (back in the 60s). I loved working on that farm! So, when I see you guys all working on the farm, it takes me back to those days, many years ago! Thank you!
You're having a spectacular year.... May God continue to bless and shine on you and your family 🙏 I learned a lot from your channel.... Hope the weather continues to cooperate and not damage or destroy your crops 💖💞😌
Hi Andrew you should use ropes/cables on the fork of the tracker make a make shift sling lift the pumpkin up slip a palette under strap down and use that to move them to the shop
17:33 Those white ones are called Pan Squash and if you are trying to cut carbs use this instead of pasta or potatoes in soups and casseroles. It has helped me SO much! I wish I had grown more of them this year. I looked at the farmers market for more but no one is selling them. I don’t know what I’m going to do without them honestly. They hold up much better in soups than zucchini and yellow squash.
If you're friends with any of your neighbors that has grown them or you can go to one of your online gardening groups if you have one and see if you can make a trade off or pay them for some
Yes the tomato plants themselves do look healthier this year compared to the last few years at this time of the season! That's nice to see! So glad you had great crops this year!
Wow, another stunning day filled with a great team in the fields. The Veggies are outstanding and just when you think it can’t get any better you head to the pumpkin patch! YAHOO. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡. The varieties look great, and the little ones, adorable!!
I hope the fellow that I bought my corn last week is now watching your channel. We are from Mass. I told him how much I love your channel, so I hope he is watching.
Sure wish I lived near you. I ordered a bushel of beans and their bushel was about 3/4. I went back home and got that bushel and it was a true bushel. It is good to know yall are so honest.
Grocsry store prices are so high now a days that driving out to the farm market is worth it. You arent the certified organic but over all you're still pretty organic without forever chemicals. Yes, folks are preserving more but I think they are also considering local versus distant purchasing and thier local economy too.
Do you think that by continually picking tomatoes as they turn color that you reduce the amount of free flowing Florine and that slows the ripening of the rest of the fruit? That could explain an easier and prolonged harvest?
I learned from you to pick the tomatoes a bit early and they ripen in a few days at home and the flavour is just as good. Night temperatures have been low for the past two days but it looks like conditions will warm up for the next while and the remaining tomatoes ought to start turning.
To the veggie boys and girls that was a 100% beautiful harvest 😲 WOW specially all the pumpkins and I saw a brand new recipe on Facebook for pumpkin now you can have pumpkin pancakes GUYS.
PEPPERS!!!! CORN!! My local veggie stand is closed for a week while they restock from GA farms. As soon as they reopen, I'm getting some sweet corn!!! -Hope you will show us getting those big punkins out of the field!!!
Just thinking about the tomato situation- due to picking them as they are beginning to turn, it may give the plants more time to produce new flowers for additional extended harvest? What do you think?
So nice you have great tomatoes and beans and oh the big and little pumpkins. Those white pumpkins must be so popular too. I am glad you do harvest the little pumpkins for children to have. Your hens are looking very happy and healthy and big. Bet you are in the eggs now!
This year maybe people figure canning a lot will help control the cost - at least with regards to things they can. Plus, they know what's in the food! I love pumpkin harvest. This year I only planted sugar sweet (small) and Jack Be Littles. Next year I'd like to plant some larger ones again.
Can someone tell me what variety the large orange pumpkins are? Around the 18 minute mark of the video. Just want to see if i can get the variety or something similar in Australia.
I love you Autumn video I love the season the colors the abundance of your harvest truly Blessed for you hard work I feel so happy to see your family here in Texas we are waiting for a storm again we not even finished rebuilding from the last Hurricane God bless you all hard workers
There are many farm markets and grower’s markets( where only items grown by the vendors themselves can be sold) in the mid Atlantic region. Really fresh produce, meats, baked goods, canned goods from people who will become your friends. Plus usually better prices.
Do you ever get stuff growing out of the stuff you leave in the field, the stuff you discard? Do you get tomatoes , cucumbers, or peppers growing the next year.
I have always leaned towards buying fruits and vegetables at traders or Whole Foods. Since turning on to your videos and learning where my food actually comes from I now only buy at farmers market or farm stands. Thanks 🙏

Wow... I haven't been to the Topsfield Fair since I was a kid! (I'm 72 .... so it's been a while!) ;)
Sounds like an excellent method. Thank you for sharing!
😮
I love seeing what's for dinner and lunch each day, its such a small but cute and enjoyable part of the videos
I can understand why you guys are so busy. If I had a farm market like yours anywhere near me, I would be there twice a week.❤❤❤
I home schooled my 2 kids for first 5 years of their education. We did a lot of garden projects as well as animals. My daughter loved her chickens even hatched a batch. They are all grown now so no more animals. I miss the chickens so I never get tired of you feeding them and collecting the eggs.
You need to keep one of those giant pumpkins and salvage the seed for next year!
I think the lack of very hot days this year helped your tomato plants survive into the fall and also prevented all the fruit from ripening at once.
I think the very complete picking is also helping. Overripe tomatoes that they left in the field probably attracted animals which would move disease through the planting.
Lots of twins on the farm. Your dad had twins, you have twins, your pumpkins have twins. Amazing.
Welcome to picking pumpkins with Petey.😊❤ Everyone needs a neighbor like Petey.
I always anticipate petey to be in the frame 😅.
Peter is a quality man!
Everyone loves Petey😊
For sure, it'll be nice

The veggie boys and girls do their best to care and share. It is quite grand. Your veggie reality would overwhelm my tiny kitchen!
I was waiting for you !
Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
Nice to see the international group chime in!!!
Groetjes uit California!
We love being here. Hallo from Nijmegen
Every time I watch a video I think "I wish lived nextdoor to the farm market". Great video as always!
What a great day on the farm. Pop Pop finding twin pumpkin was priceless. Family dinner👍👍👍
Those pumpkins are massive. Every thing is still producing because of your planting succession crops.
That was a LOT of pumpkins! Made me think about Becky going through preserving hers so she could freeze the pumpkin and use it all year around. Yum. Beautiful beautiful harvest the colours of the pumpkins 😍😍😍😍😍 Family dinners are the BEST 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x
The twins are growing so fast, it won't be long before Lauren is having to chase them down. Lol
you are so funny

I’ll try
HARVEST TIME is very good. Fruits can sell for high prices ❤❤
Your family dinner clip makes me smile, it’s nice to see families enjoying dinner together and your kiddos are so cute.
The bean picking process is fascinating! WOW on the pumpkins 😊
Man that pumpkin harvest was awesome. Put a smile one my face.
I hope you took those twin pumpkins home. Great photo op.
We're having a bear problem in the North Carolina county where we have a Christmas Tree farm. Move those big pumpkins with a blanket! It’s a 2 man job!
Beautiful harvest as always
It’s so sweet to see how much the young and adult cows enjoy new bedding!
Keep building the business with this channel, and you are going to end up like Stauffer's of Kissell Hill, with multiple stores in the region.
It’s hard to believe fall is here. The pumpkins and mums look beautiful. Look at all those amazing tomatoes 🍅. Love watching ❤.
Have you guys ever considered trying to grow a gargantuan prize winning pumpkin? (y'know, the ones you'd show off at the state fair)
Love your videos! Didn’t start watching until this spring, but have been sharing them with my kids and my wife. My kids have gardens as I do and we learn things that are helpful even for the small amount of ground we plant on. Thank you. Nice family. You all are very lucky and I suspect you all know this already!
You’re picking a lot of Roma, my favorite. Hard working family, all day every day.
I look forward to watching your videos, every day! Bring the bobcat with a sling rigged on the forks to pick up those giant pumpkins. Are the big pumpkins from the seeds a viewer gave Brian?
Great idea!!!...and yes...are those pumpkins from the ,~visitor seeds~?
Thanks for showing baby cows.
You're having a spectacular year.... May God continue to bless and shine on you and your family 🙏
I learned a lot from your channel.... Hope the weather continues to cooperate and not damage or destroy your crops 💖💞😌
Hi Andrew you should use ropes/cables on the fork of the tracker make a make shift sling lift the pumpkin up slip a palette under strap down and use that to move them to the shop
Thank you for your hard work and effort to all of you Farmers out there
Things are looking so good this fall on the farm.
Fried green tomatoes yum
All your vegetables look amazing this year!

You are soooo good that you should have way over 100,000 subscribers. Amazing crop harvests from day to day.
You will have to keep some of the big pumpkin seed and use them for a viewer prize. Love the channel. Thanks!
Yes the tomato plants themselves do look healthier this year compared to the last few years at this time of the season! That's nice to see! So glad you had great crops this year!
We tip the big pumpkins over just enough to lay a feed bag under them and then a person on each end can lift them onto a pallet.
I just love when you guys are harvesting. I love the seeding too but the harvesting is more fun.
Lovely produces everyone!! We've enjoyed fixing green tomatoes!!
We use a large potato sack cut open and use it as a gurney and two people can lift it easily!
Wow, another stunning day filled with a great team in the fields. The Veggies are outstanding and just when you think it can’t get any better you head to the pumpkin patch! YAHOO. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡. The varieties look great, and the little ones, adorable!!
What a smoking day on the farm. Love all the produce. And the pumpkins were gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
All your produce is just gorgeous! The pumpkins are my favorite though, Get Calllie out there to pick some little ones!
Hard to believe another season coming to near end 💙💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💞💙👊👊
What variety of plum tomatoes are you currently picking? They appear to be big producers.
I hope the fellow that I bought my corn last week is now watching your channel. We are from Mass. I told him how much I love your channel, so I hope he is watching.
A spoonful of honey will take away the heat from peppers, usually, just thought I'd let you know.
Sure wish I lived near you. I ordered a bushel of beans and their bushel was about 3/4. I went back home and got that bushel and it was a true bushel. It is good to know yall are so honest.

A glass of wine helps with burning mouth from peppers too.
Or whole bottle?😊
@@johnr3603 lol.....well, I guess that depends on the variety of hot pepper you just ate!! lol
I wish my tomatoes and peppers were growing like yours. We just got a new house well so it should start doing better.
Most definitely my favorite time of year..thanks guys for giving me my pumpkin pickin fix 🙂
I learned from you to pick the tomatoes a bit early and they ripen in a few days at home and the flavour is just as good. Night temperatures have been low for the past two days but it looks like conditions will warm up for the next while and the remaining tomatoes ought to start turning.
Pumpkin Heaven! Love the video!
I think the reason there are more people at the farm market is because I believe people are more aware of eating healthier and fresher.
What beautiful pumpkins and gourds!! Love love love them !! Yeah for Fall !! 💙🩷🩷💙🩷
Fabulous harvest 💯💯💯
Question!? What happened to the sawdust?? It worked so well

Have a MS170 and owned for about 7 years but never knew how to take choke off. I just struggle so this is great help. Many thanks from Omaha Nebraska
My mother really enjoyed making homemade French fries. With Aloha...
Absolutely love pumpkin videos
Andrew, you are always making me jealous of your pumpkins. The borer hit both my plantings killing them. 😢 next year bt
This year maybe people figure canning a lot will help control the cost - at least with regards to things they can. Plus, they know what's in the food!

We bought 2 big ones. We wish we had bought one for each of our grandchildren. Thanks for making these videos Andrew. ❤
I love you Autumn video I love the season the colors the abundance of your harvest truly Blessed for you hard work I feel so happy to see your family here in Texas we are waiting for a storm again we not even finished rebuilding from the last Hurricane God bless you all hard workers
Awesome video Andrew 👍👍
Good job as always
Pumpkin problem? Forklift could be handy 😊 gloves for hot peppers maybe too? 😮Thanks for sharing today.🎉
I enjoyed seeing the pumpkins.
get pete he can get them pumpkins all by himself lololol
That baby is so cute
There are many farm markets and grower’s markets( where only items grown by the vendors themselves can be sold) in the mid Atlantic region. Really fresh produce, meats, baked goods, canned goods from people who will become your friends. Plus usually better prices.
Do you ever get stuff growing out of the stuff you leave in the field, the stuff you discard? Do you get tomatoes , cucumbers, or peppers growing the next year.
Salt keep putting salt and rising mouth stops burning and a lot of times it brings your flavor buds back threw. Some peppers are just to hot.
