Hi, I need advice on removing water stain on my leather boots.
I had really bad salt staining and bumps on my boots, I watched a video on here from Robert Powers where he applied a mix of 50/50 water and white vinegar with a cotton bud. It worked great on mine

Must admit this isn't my thing ! Water stains are a pain to get rid of ...
The reason enthusiasts don't like it is because most of the half-soles are hack-jobs, square cuts, very visible seam and cobblers not picking the welt stitching.
They usually add new stitch holes, which perforates the welt.
