Trickers Stow and Henry, my favourite boots. All mine are either commando or Ridgeway unit, with buffed edges, after watching your videos last year, surprised how that little detail makes so much difference.

Yes! I've been searching and searching for someone to resole dr martens and possibly add a shank. Donny is only 2 hours from me but even better if I can send in! Not required yet but good to know you're there when I need you! This was amazing work.

What a wonderfull repair ! Im a cobler apprentice and i love solovair but i always saw that you need to thermo-glued them to resole them (like DM) and no with traditionnal method like this, im glad to the see that is possible and solovair are not that bad constructed 😂

Great stuff, I love my 2 airs of Stow’s. I bought a pair of them used and they are lovely and soft now. No idea how old they are, but probably getting on a bit with green leather lining.

I'll believe that Trickers are the right choice for Mont Blanc when I see you climbing the slopes with ice axe, crampons, ropes and other hardware 🙂. Regardless, impressive that they stayed waterproof though I'm pretty sure a Scottish or Yorkshire bog trot would have overwhelmed them. Enjoy your holiday and watch out for the icy patches that no sole will cope with.

Mad as a box of frogs Tony! Nice endorsement of a British manufacturer, shame trickers didn't make a boot wide enough for my mto boots......and the brogue rose disappearing down the front of the toe. Can't wait for my boots to arrive from Cheaney's though, only about another 4-5 weeks I think. I hope you didn't leave Anne back in Donny while you were gallivanting on your 'research' trip!
