- I heard this piece for the first time when I was 16 or 17 and it immediately captivated me (you should listen to Roland Dyens' original recording). Back then I was nowhere near good enough to play this demanding piece, so playing this piece was kind of a dream, that I would probably never achieve.
A "few" years later I'm happy that I'm able to upload an acceptable version of this piece. Sadly, whenever I record, I get nervous and the recording isn't as good as I would like it to be. I hope to improve on this in the future.
Roland Dyens did a spectacular job and I hope he would have liked my recording.
