Video starts on Galveston Sea Wall on July 7, 2024 then begins again at my home in Katy, Texas around 4:30 AM on July 8th. We were in the eye wall at our location for a short while.

Hey, the new fence stayed up and the Cypress dangling over was long since dead.

Yes on the Cypress. My neighbor said he would replace the side fence....unfortunately he has been saying that for years. Instead of fixing it he just took some old pickets and propped up the downed sections. I am recovering from heart surgery so heavy work is out for a while. Eventually I will fix it myself. Does security cameras even work during hurricane? Power is down

We had electricity most of the storm. It was down for about 3 hours. Security camera footage was at the start of the storm at my house.. You will need power to attach to wi-fi cameras. Thanks for dropping by.
