Being Irish, I've spent a lot of time in the rain. It rains an awful lot here. As we speak, it is dark, 9:50PM here in Ireland and this is currently the weather situation here. I'm standing in my shed, as the roof is galvanised and the sound of the rain is beautiful on it. Yet, I'm still here listening to this too! Us bloody Irish, we just can't get enough of the rain! The only difference between winter and summer in Ireland is that the rain gets warmer. Excuse me now lads, as I stand out in this storm Francis for a few minutes and enjoy the rain on my face. This kind of rain we get in East Africa since I was a kid, it'd rain and very big thunderstorms and sharp lightning, we'd all over sleep in the morning, and get late for school, it's kind of therapeutic .

I remember as a kid growing up in kenya, we would go out and play football in the rain because that meant we could play all day long and didn’t have to wait til the sun went down lol. Good times
I videoed one of those storms in Uganda in 2006. The clap of the thunder was different than what I've always heard.
Theres something about rain in the morning, its nearly impossible to get out of bed! I'm surprised to hear it rains in east Africa! I thought it was hot all the time! Love from rainy England😀⚘☘

I want to hear real rain falling on a lake or a pond where the microphone is under a heavy bridge (as opposed to an umbrella). That’s as close as you can to what it sounds like to walk in the rain without an umbrella - which is really nice. I went jogging during Tropical Storm Elsa and it was just so nice and refreshing but I don’t have the equipment to record it.

This is my most nights go to sleep video. It helps me go to sleep and keeps the early morning sounds of traffic, the trash men, and when I'm away from home the noise of people getting up earlier than me because I'm sleeping on the couch and I otherwise get awakened by the noise they make. God bless you for the sound of rain which is one of God's many blessings. I think of the trees and plants and the animals who need the rain. And even the people who need rain. We all need the rain.
Obviously don’t have to take my feedback but would love to see ads at the beginning and not end of video. That just wakes me up once I’ve fallen asleep ☹️
