I have the same problem with my 2010 chevy ltz I'm going to check that fuse box and check to see if there gooey stuff on my connector because it's doing the same exact thing
die electric grease was used as part of a recall from gm and there is supposed to be a bridge connector placed into the bcu and then the harness connection is plugged into the bcu bridge.

Dielectric grease was used the wrong way .
Should be around the connector not parked inside the connector.
