Forest activity class for kids 森林学習でブリ縄

A local forest club organized a half-day program for kids. After making chairs, we taught "Buri-nawa" Japanese traditional tree climbing. Tightening ropes around the trunk on rather unstable foothold was difficult for small kids, but we instructors think they still managed well. The youngest was 8 years old. In our forest adventure park we offer various workshops to learn different techniques.　地元のクラブがキッズ対象に森林教室を開催、イス作りに続けてブリ縄木登りの講習をした。8歳からという小さな子には不安定な足場で縄を幹にきつくしばりつけるのは難しいが、地元民だけあって最後にはうまくこなしていた。私達の森林アドベンチャーパークではいろんなクライミング技法も学べるようにしている。
