- We catch a good stringer of Crappie and Yellow bass in February just as the pre spawn in fixing to start. Don't wait around too long or you mite miss some good Crappie fishing. These fish are following these shad in the warmer creeks and shallows. We are using jigs and slip bobbers and some times a crappie bite. We had fun fighting these fish. Hope you enjoy.

Yes sir. the bait is the target for me. I like to drive around the edges of the lake and find the shallow pockets with bait are flipping or moving the top of the water. easy to see on a Sunny day☀️ the fish are around the bait feeding. Nice mess!! Me and my cousin tryed them yesterday there after the rain they was super slow on the back side of that rain. We managed a few.
