Awesome. Just helped an old customer consign their 50’s-80’s high grade set collection to an auction house to make sure they got the best value, were able to put the cards back into new collectors hands and to make sure their family didn’t get fleeced like his collecting friends family did when he passed away 10 years ago.
Did they buy out Alex Tymchuks entire inventory? I know I saw those fan craze cards in this booth at the white plains show this past summer. The massive amount of nonsports, boxing, and Jesse Owens also matches what he specialized in
I’m pretty sure I know this collection as he set up as a dealer at some of the White Plains shows. I believe his name is Alex and he is from Georgia. Super nice guy and a breathtaking collection. Congrats guys on landing it!
Awesome content as always. Respectfully, those Owens tickets aren't worth no where near those prices, as well as the choice in some of the sets/players of the soccer stuff. I exclusively sell and collect vintage soccer tickets and cards as well as Owens tickets and very familiar with this market. Regarding soccer in general, since the boom, a lot of arbitrary value has hit the market due to "rarity" or "significance". Imo. since many of the US collectors don't understand and can't relate to the cultural significance of a lot of the players/sets, there is a lot of misconception. As a life long soccer lover, the cultural relevance is crucial. Would love for the pair to see my collection and my pricing, and even then, I price up due to current "rarity", which at times hasn't lasted for many items. I hope i don't come off as a know-it-all or condescending. God bless.
Phenomenally extensive collection!!! Very cool that non-sports are getting their due. Two grail collections in one year for Chris! Merry Christmas, indeed, gentlemen!
If you go to list of all Abraham Lincoln photos on internet there are 130 known photos and I did not see one that matched the Snowman’s. If that’s Abraham Lincoln it might be priceless! Also I believe that the tin type photo was in a Thermoplastic case.
great video, as always. thanks for the analytical data. as a beginner on the business side of this hobby, your stories of buying and selling are hugely helpful.
Wow though, if I was lucky enough to come across a collection like this, I’d definitely consider mortgaging my house, along with a couple of my neighbor’s houses, to purchase it.
They should giveaway a Bird Magic Dr J to a subscriber. Unless they prefer to give a Cobb . I will volunteer to take it. It will be an act of charity , Santa will be watching.
What's so great about a 7-figure collection? I've got a lot more than 7 figures in my collection, including Starting Lineups, McFarlane SportsPicks and bobbleheads 😂🤣😂
The Texas Snowman reminds me of Chris “Party Boy” Pontius from Jackass.
Me too lol
😂😂
They look exactly alike

The ticket packet is kewl

Thank you all for sharing that awesome collection! I think a lot of us would like to see a long form reveal of the entire purchase.
Will do at some point!
Chris, have you negotiated which portion of the collection is yours? I guess you'll do a video about that.
I’ll do a video about that at some point
Just blown away! Congratulations Gents! Those Joe Jackson tickets stubs! 🤯 Thank you for sharing this
Awesome. Staggering. The preeminence of the 100m is it establishes The World’s Fastest Man.
How much was used with Kurt's Card Care😂😂😂 Nice collection. 💯💯
When he said the cards all looked so clean when going over the t206 stuff i was thinkin the same 😂
I didn’t even know the Texas Snowman rocked a PT.
RIP RICKEY HENDERSON
Wow. Some big boy cards. Go big or go home. Happy holidays, Chris!
Absolutely insane collection, congratulations guys!!!
I specialize in vintage soccer - would love to take a look at what you have. Great story guys - nicely done
Same here! They did mention Peles! I wonder what other soccer cards this could throw up.

Is this the guy who graded the trimmed Wagner as a PSA 8?
Seems like an amazing collection! Looking forward to updates over the next several months. Jealous of the Hulk #181, great choice by the ⭐️ ⛄️

It's a copy. Probably worth about $30 for the thermoplastic case it's in
@ yes it probably has copies but very few still exist. And if this is an unknown photo of Abraham Lincoln it would be a historical treasure!

Chris;
I’m impressed that you knew “The Wizard of Oz” was from 1939!
I used to be in the film industry. Was a big film buff :)

Well, I liked the propeller joke....that's an incredible collection. Wish I could bid on some of it.
I like the Snowman’s hair. It’s pretty!!!!
Merry Christmas Kids! Hope to pick up a gem or two from the "newly discovered" fresh to the hobby find. GLWS.
I thought Mike Baker claims to grade the first PSA cards.
I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW MORE OF THE PRICES OF SOME OF THE HIGHER END CARDS AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE CARD OF THE LOT ? 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
How long will I have to hold onto my ticket stubs from Canadian Womens Basketball leagues from 1928-35 for anyone else to see value in them?
Can you say what was paid for the collection?
Would love to see some of the soccer cards
Sweet haul snowman totally butchered through those sweet Jim Brown rookies though
Crazy stuff there
My Bird Magic Dr J just lost a lot of value with all that new supply.
Amazing
Make a video on the goat. RICKEY HENDERSON
Weird that there wasn't a single Ruth card, isn't it?
There were some Ruth cards in the collection.
The story is a young woman wrote to Lincoln around the time of his election suggesting he would look better with a beard.
Sold in CIA? Since when does the Central Intelligence Agency sell sports cards for individuals?

good idea!
