Always love this channel and series, but this one gave me a new aspect to loving it. Some other channels would cut out the part where someone talks about dealing with OC…you guys kept this in, kept his story in there, raised awareness for this terrible disease, and just did it in a classy, empathetic way, which also leant to the whole story and video. Awesome.
Facts! I have a bunch of 2nd, 3rd n 4th year bowman n topps chrome and they were selling pretty high during covid. And of course they won the bubble title, so they got even more of a boost. Watched an auction end today for the 2nd year one.....$9.50. So ya, whoever sold during covid is def the goat.
If we're talking about a sportsman that is so far ahead of their sport, that the nearest is a long distance in the rear-vision mirror, then that title can only go to Sir Donald Bradman (cricket)... it's not even close. Many studies have been done, where they've compared where Jordan sits in basketball, Ruth in base-ball, Marciano in boxing, etc. None close to Bradman in cricket.

Intreating to hear you mention how those tough 90’s inserts are taking off. I have most of the Bonds cards in that era, wish I had the balls to sell it and retire but I can’t let them go. Ty…around 1:40 you say that some of the vintage is worth grading and is all sub 4 grade stuff. Question: Shouldn’t you get all vintage graded even if it is lower tier stuff? What vintage would you NOT grade?
Love this episode I have ulcerative colitis as well it got so bad to the point were I had to get my colon removed. If it ever comes to that point for anyone else I’d recommend it has been the best decision I have ever done I have no more pain and don’t into the bathroom 24/7

I focus strictly on low-mid end cards that I like. 90% of my PC is cards that are in the $5-50 range. But then I also have a few 1/1 or /5 Julio Rodriguez, Josh Jung, Bobby Witt, etc. If you’re in the Dallas area sometime I would love for you to come out to my family’s winery and enjoy a couple glasses on me. I wish I had the problem of turning down a huge bulk lot when Lebron case alone is over $20,000 worth of value. I would buy the bulk at the $1000-$2000 price and piece it out. You ended up getting Lebron collection and bulk for less then asking even after U-Haul cost, great job.
Your show is 100% proof that this stuff is going to be worthless if everyone dumps. At the end of the day it is men and women on paper with ink and sometimes encased in plastic. Scary to think about it if looking at the long term on all this modern overprinting Junk Wax Era 3.0. Buyer beware but what do I know? I blew all my hard earned money as a teen on this junk during 1988-1994.
You should just hire a full time driver on the team...go where you go or be on standby few hours away...then split up when ya need something driven to a different location. Save time, save money. Big plus if the driver has his own U-Haul 😆🙋

I grew up watching Michael Jordan play and the guys from the 80s I'm at the real age!!! I grew up watching those guys LOL not in my forties but in my 50s!! Lol and I've watched and followed LeBron James and I honestly don't understand why people are so obsessed over him! The younger LeBron yes I could understand but today is LeBron! I've had his rookie cards and I've sold them and felt no emotional connection to them but when I sold my Michael Jordan cards it breaks my heart!

Feel like the U-Haul is kinda overkill and a tad unnecessary. Seemed like it could’ve fit in the back and third row. Guessing those spaces were already filled to the brim…🤷🏻♂️

IMO speculation it seems pretty obvious LJ on some secret sauce, especially looking who was busted in his inner circle with trainers busted for PEDs and how high of a level at his age with minutes dunking at same vert as a young but is biggest red flag. Jordan at end was still dominating in Washington ave in low 20s on just his jump shot and lost that step and vert
My as we speak dilema is whether I let go of my Jordan 93-94 Scoring Kings BGS 9.5. I have a cash in hand offer at almost full comp and need the money for an upcoming US holiday (I'm in Australia) The card is very nostalgic to me as I pulled it as a 14 year old back when it was first released. I was actually considering message U guys on insta to see if had any interest in my big cards. Lukas included Matt 😜.... But the Jordan SK is a decision I'm loosing sleep over!
The GOAT debates are so tiresome these days. I also notice that people get real defensive about ‘their’ era they grew up in. I see alot of snarky comments from Jordan defenders here calling out this guy for saying Lebron is the Goat. What’s funny is i used to hear the same snarky comments generation 30 years ago from boomers saying either Kareem, Wilt or Russell was the Goat over Jordan.
Guy got sucked in during the pandemic and now just wants out. It seems odd that he was generally so organized but he couldnt just sell to other Lebron collectors in their huge Lebron group. If comped at 26k-28k he probably would have been able to sell without much fees as he was the moderator of the LBJ group. The rest was organized as well he could have dumped everything in a card show for a few thousand but he just wanted out that day. So sad to see he was willing to get rid of the rest for $200...does he hate cards suddenly to just want it gone? He really should just store it and think about it...he can always give it away. Not blaming CC as they took everything and have to put time in...
2:00 antique and thrift shop sports cards are still stuck in 2020. Overpriced for sure. Why pay rent when you can store for free and sell on eBay or other market places?

My mom had hers removed in the early 70's. Almost died. Now she's 78, walks 5 miles a day and shows no signs of slowing down.

There isnt a sports card shop in the greater area that I live in - I would take the bulk over the Zions. This would be great inventory in general.
MJ is the GOAT of the hardwood. Chasing Cardboard is the GOAT of card content. You can take both of those statements to the bank.
