Love those 72 tops! I do have the Ron Santo. I do want to send Ted Sizemore out in the mail for his autograph. Mel Daniels was a popular answer, but the Boner Brothers were good calls too!
I think you should get bonus points if you guess Moose, Gus or the Boner Brothers. I only have about 200 basketball cards and was happy to discover Mel Daniels was one of them.
Eric Von Haessler sent me here (he knows I dig baseball cards). Love this. My favorite from this set is Billy Martin giving the finger to the photographer.
Billy Grabarkewitz was a "peak-too-sooner" for sure! I have been wishing to find a 1972 high number Steve Garvey for a long time. Just missed one last year at my local card shop, someone just bought it that day. Oh well, that's the way it goes. I agree, these 1972 cards are pretty awesome!
Just looked up the Steve Garvey card. It's super cool and I've never seen that card before. I screwed up Billy Grabarkewitz. He hit .285 that year, I was reading the 1971 average. I besmirched his kick ass season from 1970.
Great set, 2nd year I started collecting. Completed the set a number of years ago, tough set. Just bought several hi # 66T will show later. Thanks for showing. Take care.
Trying to complete the high numbers. Only got a few of them in 1972 when I was twelve. Better late than never! I feel the 72 high numbers are better quality than the lower numbers for some reason. Good video!
These are all great looking cards! I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Billy Grabarkewitz card. Love the Ron Santo with the jacket! So cool that Ted Sizemore played high school basketball with Mel Daniels! The Boner brothers! 😂😂
I can't imagine what your audio library looks like but the camera shutter was top tier. I actually hope you have a guy recording live background audio for you like an old-timey radio play. This is how I imagine the filming of Baseball Card Theater. Im guessing the fan operator is a seperate job.
The Ted Sizemore always brother me due to the white patch (a towel?) on the bottom left as it kinda looked like some actual paper lost. I remember the first checking it out and rubbing it with my finger to check it out. (Note - I have always BAD eyesight, so maybe it was just me.). Another great video!
Hey tsean! Great stuff as always. Billy Grabarkewitz sure did get off to a fast start. Haha! Good job pulling that from the back of the card. Do you build sets? You have a lot of different cards.
I don't build sets. I sometimes have random guys I collect. No hall of famers but people like Rick Wise, Dick Stuart. But I love stumbling across cards from before 74 that I've never seen before... if they're affordable, I try to buy them.
I'm sure there were several players over the years with the last name "Dick", plus the Mets had R.A. Dickey a few years ago, but to me the Boner brothers just seem so much funnier. Thanks T. Sean!
Looks like Paul Doyle still has a Cardinal on his sleeve. Guess they didn’t do painted on sleeves back then. I heard that the Boner Brothers used to compete against each other. Something like who has the biggest bat or something like that.
Yeah, those high number cards are problematic and expensive. It’s a good thing that they are mostly less sought after players, except for set builders. Cheers.
Please do all time "Grab ass" team starring Bill Grabarkewitz, Jim Grabowski (GB Packers) , etc. 😂😂

Eric is a great man and he steered you in the right direction.
@ He’s a great boss, too. Also, I enjoyed the Fred A story he told me this afternoon.

You do an darn good job with your presentation. Cracks me up.
I'm glad you dig it!!!

Thanks for watching, Mike! I stumbled across these at a card show and I had never seen them before. I got all 8 for $12 so I couldn't pass it up.

That's a good observation. Could it be because they had a little more time to work on the cards?
Great cards
Thanks for watching!

Isn't it wonderful to see a "new" card from vintage years? One of my favorite things about collecting.
I always try to comment because the algorithm needs to pick up on these. The world needs to know the painted-on hat running gag.
Thanks for helping to try to spread the word.

Luckily, my wife is a foley artist and provides all the sound effects and for a pet I have a big bad wolf who blows the cards for me.
The Paul Doyle Bacon Sp is great. The next year Topps kept with the tradition and created the elusive Biscuits and Gravy SP, a tough find.

Towels on the field bothered me in cards too. I think they're a few in '76.
@ Towels are bad but I think wheelbarrows are worse.
Harvey Kuenn 1962 Topps.
Awesome fun video! We love baseball cards!
Thanks for watching.
I'm with Skaught...someone needs to fry us up some Hormel Meats bacon jerseys. Awesome as always.
Those meat jerseys would be kind of cool. Thanks for watching.
@@tseanshannon I would totally wear a jersey made out of bacon. It would probably only make it to 2nd inning though. Mmmm....bacon....
Love Portillo's! Ron Santo probably had to put in a lot of extra work with the medicine ball after all those dipped Italian beef sandwiches.
Long live Portillo's!!!
Awsome vids. Thank you.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching.
Grabarkewitz hit .289 in 1970. You read off his average for the next season in 1971.
Thanks for the correction. I feel bad now... shitting on the guys best year.
Could you do a video on 1957 topps number 30 pee wee reese. My favorite card. Again awsome videos thank you.
I don't own that card but I'll try to fit it in. I appreciate you watching.
Air brushed nice clowning

@ Very cool and fitting given your fun approach to the hobby.

Sadly, I heard the Boner Brothers were killed in Nam.
Now I want a Hormel Meats bacon jersey.
Those would be cool!
Boner Bros for life!
They played college ball at Syracuse.

Totally agree. I got all 8 for 12 dollars which I thought was a good deal.
Ted Sizemore card is from candlestick during remodel.
Thank you smartluck! I've seen those beams on other cards and couldn't figure out what stadium it was. Mystery solved.
