A big shout out to the DSMA Parent group that supports this creative process. It takes a lot of manhours to build props, sew and modify costumes, provide transportation, plan and chaperone trips and fundraise. The DSMA is proud to supplement such a talented group.
Yeah, we changed a lot of the sounds so it will sound different. This was the first show. As for the drill, this show is designed to be viewed from a high vantage point (Dayton). So at this small-ish venue, you can't really tell what's going on.
I absolutely love this and would kill for that tenor break when they scaled up the support and did the feature. Really amazing show, and absolutely blew my mind how every person knows how to play a different instrument. Very well done.
something as small as the bird calls in place of the ‘duts’ added so much more depth to the show. it was such a brilliant piece of work. great job dartmouth

Two things I love most combined. Indoor drumline and video. I was at this show and I think I saw myself a few times. Good luck this year Dartmouth!

I feel bad for that guy who had to hold the quad at around 11 minutes in. but the documentary was awesome.
such a great group. best of luck this year.
Well no wonder they're so good, Tom Aungst is their damn instructor
I actually graduated in 2009. Im currently at New England Tech for Video Production!
@Praposo91 well that sure was a good year to graduate in! and that's great, you did an awesome job. hope to see more of it.
not gonna lie, this video is inspiring.
i missed the show because I was busy volunteering and chasing schools down....
:(
I like a band with a matched grip it gives them unique
great job paul! the kids look great! oh this is skyler btw...haha
Your video is absolutely amazing! You should do one for Arcadia High School Worldline! WWWHHHHOOOOHOOOO
@Praposo91 are you going to major in some type of video productions after highschool?
@ptdmass45 Thanks for the support! I couldn't have said it better myself!
I noticed this too, but I though they had features for the pit for the past couple years? They kinda have one at 7:10 and 8:46.
one thing I will say about dartmouth is that they don't feature their pit at all, which is too bad.
A unique look
10:48 A SACRIFICE!
Unfortunately, this is before they put in the bird calls instead of the "duts." :(
but still a sick documentary
@KKSGProductions2 we used a canon t2i
@snare1454 trollllllll.... That was one of the first times we ran that segment of our show so cut us a little slack
It shows :)
@DEMuKi0 i am curently in aux. Percusion it makes me want to pull my hair out. Ill be in snare line next year. Or else i would quit.
Is the kid that was the Cadets center snare this year in here?
Yeah he is center
Why does their pit always look so bored?
What editor did you use I want to use this for my drumline's documentary
Look sky fairies
Paul, what did you use for editor :P
problematic all season... =] but finals it was awesome =]
does anybody know why they always wear those ridiculous head pieces??
