Hi Graham when we take frozen bait we put it in a foam box. We got it when we ordered frozen bait online and it's really good. We put a couple of small drinks bottles with frozen water in at each end and then use freezer packs on the top and bottom. We've fished for 8-10 hours and it kept the bait spot on.
I can't begin to tell you, how much you guys have helped me get into Sea fishing, I was keen coarse angler but now I'm well into sea fishing, and regularly catching. In fact after watching nighe on all your videos more than once I may add, I'm now into watching TA Outdoors, and I'm in awe. Well done to you both for making such fantasticly AWESOME videos and thank you both so much for all you do...you have well surpassed Matt Hayes and John Wilson's TV programmes and in my opinion you should of been on the Tele year ago. This is the best fishing show there has ever been.
Cannot tell you the standard of fish I could have filmed before TH-cam came about....such a shame I was only on stills camera and not video back then...would have made some awesome viewing.
Nice one Graeme, that looked at LOT like Newtons cove here in Weymouth, we have the same shingle giving way to hard sand at low tide and even a rock mole
Great video Graham, don't even care there wasn't many fish caught, still enjoy the banter, tips and old stories as always...thanks for the entertainment and time taken to make (and for Mike to edit lol)as always, tight lines Si 🎣
Thanks, Graham - your fishing day was like most of the days I have, 99% of the time it a blank. I started thinking of giving up as each Video on youtube is of someone catching, never blacking out or having a bad day. At least I know now that it is not something I am doing - I suppose luck comes into it as well. Cool video.
You can get alarms called 'seabite' , really clever technology relies on the movement of the rod and line and detects it instead of a convention alarm which has a roller!
Thanks for that Graeme, my favourite beach spot, bit further for me than you, by an hour or so. Difficult to tell from camera angle, but did you move to your right, closer to the rocks ? I like to fish closer to them than you were, close rod is close, at high tide maybe 35 yards, long rods only about 80 as I find it helps the rocks to hold the weed away from you for longer. Anyway loved watching this one, particularly as I am sitting here with a plastered ankle and no chance I'm getting down there this year :(
Absolutely lovely video. shame you put in so many hours for so little but that's how it goes. I really must get my surf rods out soon, haven't been on the beach for a year now. Norfolk coast has been desolate. They have recently shut off the last few places where you can access the river yare too from the Yarmouth side. People been fishing there as long as anyone can remember. Sad part is there's no good reason for it.
I had no choice as ,its rubbish filming at night which is when the flood came ,and the hounds, move in. I don't live near the sea and I can't exactly sit around doing nothing without a bait in the water. If you live near the sea its easy to fish the right tides, but I don't have that luxury so have to fish when I can.If you ever go to the Bristol channel area you will find out the hard way that the VERY best fishing marks are all right over low tide. Everywhere is different.
Hi Lads, im new to fishing and i just recently got my first saltwater reel and beach rod, and was wondering if you had some beginners tips for beach/surf fishing, as in whats the best beginner bait for well, anything i could catch really, that works well on a three hook rig, Also is there anywhere you would recommend for beach fishing around Dublin/Wicklow? Love your videos, they really inspired me to go out fishing and helped me to understand it a bit better, any tips would be well appreciated, thanks
Love the sea angling sessions Graeme keep them coming. Sorry to hear the boat is sick! Can I ask I presume that this mark is part of chisel beach, but which end?
I also notice Graeme that you use a lot of fixed spools, is this for comfort? Personally I used a couple ABU rockets with 15lb mainline through to 50lb Grease Wessel. I bought my setup when I first started beach fishing and have never bought another rod/reel since. I must say you have a good casting style, sort of a mixed Pendulum/Overhead Thumb.
In fairness when the bloke went down at sea, it's called salvage right's isn't it unless he's your mate or you were caught with your hand in his pocket on the way up to the ambulance LOL
Epic session, effort equals success 👍. Just wondered with the long sleeved shirt, was that a fashion thing or protection from the sun as it looked warm! The amount of anglers getting burnt when the sun's out is all too familar
Me ? Fashion ? Don't make me laugh.Clothes are for keeping you warm.I'm too long in the tooth to worry about what I wear.Long sleeves handy for avoiding sunburn...and I did put on factor 20.
As I said in the film, you need a shock leader of heavier line b.s. than the reel line. On that particular reel its yellow as it stands out for the camera and the fish aren't bothered.
I'd take that bloody bite alarm and chuck it in the sea! Yes Graham we know it gose BEEP BEEP! well done! now please leave it alone! Please people no bite alarms on the beach ffs lol
LOVE the videos, but with one little complaint. I watch them late at night, and wear headphones, so as not to wake the Family up. Turn the volume up a bit to hear your voice, and the Incidental Music nearly blows your ears off when it starts! Keep up the good work, but turn it down a bit..... ;-)
I think I said at the start I only had two small handheld cameras with me ? The idea was to get on the beach after a dire morning, relax, and film some tips for any beginners. As usual I did my best, entirely free to watch I think you will find ,and luckily I don't have to answer to anyone(except the wife) . As I am still trying to work anyway and get fishing films in between it is me that is disappointed to think whatever I try to do its still not good enough for some people.

Graeame you are such a legend
Reality of fishing, heavily endured but rarely shown by most fishing channels!! You're the man Graeme, tight lines and thank you.

another awesome video from TAF . ty graeme, and mike for the editing and great music
I liked the tips about the leader knot, and the one about not reeling in mono under tension. Both problems I've had, but never knew how to deal with!
that is all the stuff in one spot! omg ... it is a dream spot!
Video starts at 0:00
You can thank me later
Great video Graeme. Hope you get more luck with the hounds as the summer goes on. Please keep up the sea fishing videos.
I love the fact you still make a day out of it and a video , even if you don't catch much ! It makes this channel what it is 😁👍
another cracking video, well done Graeme ( and Mike!)
I can remember you mike and tony and his son chris fishing for smooth hound on that beach years ago' many thanks guys
Have you looked into those micro chairs, Graeme? The pack down jobbies, light as anything, fold up small as anything, brilliant for fishing...
great vid as always
What a beautiful day. Thank you for sharing.
Nice one Graeme, that looked at LOT like Newtons cove here in Weymouth, we have the same shingle giving way to hard sand at low tide and even a rock mole
No,its Sussex.
Love this channel great content
Graeme stingrays are caught right up to Littlehampton from the beach as far as I am aware, small to medium tides seem to work best
You are hardcore mate. Wow. Amazing stuff.
Great video Graham, don't even care there wasn't many fish caught, still enjoy the banter, tips and old stories as always...thanks for the entertainment and time taken to make (and for Mike to edit lol)as always, tight lines Si 🎣
Just came back from mackerel fishing, weather was amazing, had some fun but none were biting
Beautiful sky
Loved it as usual Graeme can't beat ur sea fishing vids. You are very good at sea fishing also you might start the bite alarm trend off lol.

did it work well with the bait alarms seem a good idea please let me know I like it A1 as usual
quality video as always! since Mike has gone full time to the channel and mag the editing quality/music is fantastic.
My tip to you Graham...don't waste time fishing the tide out! Never much good :) Thanks for all the great vids as usual

Love the rod stand are they even peeler crabs 🎣🎣
No,just frozen green shore crabs.

Check out our playlist, especially the shore fishing as there are loads or rigs shown.

No,miles away,its Sussex.
Great video.. I'd say that's Selsey.
In fairness when the bloke went down at sea, it's called salvage right's isn't it unless he's your mate or you were caught with your hand in his pocket on the way up to the ambulance LOL
How can you go fishing in heat like that, I'd be in the sea attempting to cool off
Epic session, effort equals success 👍. Just wondered with the long sleeved shirt, was that a fashion thing or protection from the sun as it looked warm! The amount of anglers getting burnt when the sun's out is all too familar

could you show us how to make a step by step video how to make a wessex rig.
He already has, check out Beach Fishing Tips for beginners (part 3) - The Wessex Rig. 😉👍
you know how people ask you do you ever have a blank ? I get asked do I ever not have a blank !!
how about some TA fishing transphers
why do you use the yellow extension in the first place?
As I said in the film, you need a shock leader of heavier line b.s. than the reel line. On that particular reel its yellow as it stands out for the camera and the fish aren't bothered.
Where can I get a good tripod rod holder ?
Check online, there are probably several brands made. Mine is the cheapest I think ...made by Storm ?
Not Newtons cove Preston beach
I'd take that bloody bite alarm and chuck it in the sea! Yes Graham we know it gose BEEP BEEP! well done! now please leave it alone! Please people no bite alarms on the beach ffs lol

Thoroughly disappointed, not the usual high quality we've come to expect.
I think I said at the start I only had two small handheld cameras with me ? The idea was to get on the beach after a dire morning, relax, and film some tips for any beginners. TAFishing hi Graham, was it Middleton beach you were fishing or Elmer sands
