  • @MrWrr3rd
    @MrWrr3rd 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

    To get cruise control to work at least on my bike ( I have a s866 controller it's a hit way bk11) hold the throttle in a comfortable position say going 13 mph hold it there then push and hold the negative sign (-)on the controller. After a good 3 to 5 seconds a letter "P" will appear on the display where the assist value number normally is.you'll be able to let go of the throttle and you should be able to maintain that speed even if you start pedaling. I use this function to set my speed to something that's comfortable for me to keep pedaling with resistance while in 7th gear and not feel like im doing the running man..lol. just a nice powerful pace and I can continue to provide manual power and save a lot of battery as my pedaling and the cruise control work in tandem. Please let me know if you were able to get this to work for you.

    Very informative, thank you!
    I don’t understand the P15 option though. Are you saying you’ve set it at 29V which makes the Bike battery turn off once it gets to this voltage when riding?
    I’ve got a 12-15 mile commute to work and I plan to re-charge the battery when I get there. My plan is to set the P15 option to 0v or 1v. Is there any harm to the battery in doing that?

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      P15 is a battery over-discharge protection built into the controller. At 29V you are at 2.9V/cell which is already low, going lower that that it will quickly destroy the battery.

    • @Nitecrow314
      @Nitecrow314 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No matter what the setting is on the display, the bms in the battery will shut down at a safe level (low voltage cut-off). Also, how far cells can safely be discharged depends on which cells they are. Some can safely be discharged to 2.75, or even 2.5v.

      Theoretically P14 changes the maximum allowed current for the controller. This should also be supported by the controller. It has nothing to do with the battery capacity, is it just allowing more power to go to the motor. I have seen this speed freeze on several other bikes when you unlock them and ride fast. Do you know how to reduce the intensity of PAS? Poor terrain and even the first of five PAS levels is dangerously powerful in the Shengmilo MX20. It’s almost fun that PAS accelerates and go to higher speed than the throttle! So I'd want scale all assist levels down, acceleration and speed. Is it possible? Thanks.

      Yes check the motor acceleration level and motor delay.

      You might have something similar but different.

      Have you resolved this problem? Mine bike, also, very powerfully on pedal assists. Just few pedals rotations and the bike starts in full power. Doesn't matter which assist levels are using.

    Hello . If I set it to a smaller wheel size will it make the motor go faster if it thinks it has to make up the speed

      No, it will just show wrong speed as that setting is just for display calibration. You can check my other related videos about ADO bike to see how to unlock them.

      @@TechTronic9000 ok thanks . I will do . My bike was limited to 15 mph I've unlocked that but my bike only does about 19 or 20 mph if I peddle really fast. Hopefully I can get it abit faster

      Best bet... Go on a diet. I max my Hit way BK11 (US edition) at 22mph gps calibrated. If I wasn't 260lbs and was closer to the 70 kg little boy they used to get the bikes specs I would probably rip lol😂.
      Oh, another think you can do to get your bike to go faster would be too get a 60lb neighborhood kid to rid it. I mean you won't be on it but your bike will haul a55 . Lol

      Not in the frame as the space is limited, you need an external one.
