it seems this function doesn't work 24 hours after the iphone is turned off.
it works fine after turning off the iphone, but after 24 hours, it shows last known location and time, then no more update.
any idea ? it's iphone 11 with latest iOS update. also, the battery is fully charged, so it's not due to low battery.
Hi! If you're using iCloud.com/find, you won't be able to see your device's location if it's turned off, the battery has died, or it's been more than 24 hours since its last location was sent to Apple.
@@JigxorTutorials I want my iphone 11 to be trackable forever (well, untill the battery runs completely flat, which should take month) when it is turned off. not just for 24 hours.

If you're using iCloud.com/find, you can't see your device's location if it's powered off, the battery has run out, or more than 24 hours has passed since its last location was sent to Apple.

Please i just recently lost my iphone, and i activated the lost mode using "Find my iphone" with my phone number for update if the missing iphone is found.
After 24hrs i got an Apple notification saying that "Your lost iphone13 is currently online with the number 1234****90."
Please my question here is there any possible chance for me to get the full phone number that is been blinded (1234****90) so that i will report the number to the near police station to verify whose number is?
Thank you, your video was most thorough but I am still unsure if I should “erase my device” since it was my old iPhone 6 that was stolen today in Lima, Peru. I have tons of important notes, pictures & videos that is saved via iCloud & is shared with my new iPhone 12 but I just need reassurance that “erasing my device” does NOT mean that my things (i.e. notes, photos, videos) will NOT be erased. “Erasing my device” means that it will disconnect from my iCloud account- did I understand correctly @JigxorTutorials?
To make sure that your iCloud data will not be erased, go to iCloud.com and select Find My iPhone. Click All Devices, then pick the device to be deleted. To display the Devices list, click the name of the current device in the center of the toolbar, then pick the device you want to remove. Finally, click the Remove from Account button. This will delete your iCloud account from the stolen device.
What happens if you erase a device from Find Devices? First, a confirmation email is sent to the email address associated with your Apple ID. It is still protected by Activation Lock. To reactivate the device, you must enter your Apple ID and password. You can use Find Devices to locate or play a sound on a device that has iOS 15, iPadOS 15, or later installed. You won't be able to find or play a sound on it otherwise.
Remotely deleting your phone will execute a factory reset, erasing all data stored on your phone, including apps, app data, and settings. Some data, including personal information, may not be permanently wiped. After you do this, you will no longer be able to remotely access your phone.
