Absolutely fantastic Mark, really well done for bring us the first review of this stunning bike here in the UK. High quality review as always, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Stay well and safe.
I like the instruments, bars and tank better on the meteor but apart from that prefer the Classic. My Signals in Marsh Grey is not coming to the UK which is a big suprise.
I did not want to admit but the Meteor is better in my opinion buttttt I still go for Classic !!! ( Booked Chrome Red ) Yee Hawwww can't wait to feel the thump !!
The one thing I’ve always loved about the modern Enfield’s (single 500/535s and 650s…the 400 Himalayan too) is that they are extremely friendly for owners to learn to care for and wrench on. Parts are dirt cheap, easily available from eBay, etc.
Great video/review! Happy to say that here in California, we just bought three of these! I'm 61, and have been riding for over 50 years. This is the smallest bike (engine wise) I've owned in over 30 years, and it's the most fun I've had since my first ride! I got one for me and my son, and his girlfriend's father as well. No matter where we go or what we're doing, we get stopped and asked about them. I'm also a big guy - 6'-4", 230 lbs. It's 100% comfortable - after I moved the bars back slightly and changed the gear shifter up one-notch. Perfection, even with the wife on the back. If you're considering one, go have a look (and test ride if possible). I don't think you'll regret it and I'm guessing you're going to love it! Ride safe all!
Thank you so much for answering the most pressing question I had about the bike, it's suitability for bigger lads. I am also 6'4 (though my doctor insists age has made me 6'3 now..) so I have been a bit concerned it would be too small for me. Did you opt for the spring seat option or anything else to help with the height or are you just using the standard seating? Again thank you for your comments on the matter.
@ I did add the touring seats in black. It gives you maybe 3/4” in height, but I didn’t need it. They’re more Comfortable too. I put the black ones on my Halcyon Grey and it is lovely!!! Ride Safe 🙏🏼
So true! When i bought mine previous October i did 500 meters and returned to the dealer to put the gear lever one position higher. I am also above 6 ft (187 cm) and the riding position is absolutely great - the rubber pads on the tank are so nice by the way. My question for you Mr Scott is if the optional seats ruin this great riding position because they look (and as you confirm) taller.

On Tuesday 25 January 2022, the first Royal Enfield New Classic 350's arrived in Norway. It is the Halycon, Dark, and Chrome models that will be sold in Norway. thank you vert much for this in dept review.
When I was in Columbo in 2017 I walked into the RE dealership next to my hotel and the Classic jumped at me. They had the 350 Bullet and the T-bird (500cc then not allowed as an import because military bs), but the Classic just grabbed me for some reason. Which was a bit odd as the 500 Bullet was one of my dad's dream bikes and I'd admired it for years. A few years later and the 650s came out and the Continental GT is what I want, but the Classic is still just as appealing as it was then on that showroom floor. I guess not being around in the '50s/'60s the Bullet is a little too "pure" and the Classic's retro is enough "pure" and enough "modern" to really fit my bill.
I've watched a lot of videos on the Meteor and it is a good looking bike. But Royal Enfield really made a smart move by installing the new Meteor 350 cc engine on the Classic. I'm old (68) and I love the looks and the upright riding position of the Classic. Now that it is equipped with the new smoother engine from the Meteor it is my choice of motorcycles from Royal Enfield. I watched another video on the Classic 350 which showed a red and chrome bike which is really pretty. If I had a choice the red and chrome will be mine. I currently own a 2021 Harley with a 114 C. I. engine and rarely go over 62 MPH. So the Classic 350 will be fine with me. And on the old two lane roads where the speed limit is less, there will be no finer bike to ride than the new Classic 350. Thanks for the video, ride safe and enjoy every journey.
Greetings from the mountains of southern California. I bought the 650 Interceptor in San Diego in June 2019 and I've got nearly 24k miles so far. As nice as my Interceptor is I really think this Classic 350 looks even better.
Great video Mark, nicely done. Bike looks great - love those colours! Really looking forward to having a go on one of these. Great price too - I could buy 4 of these for the price the RE dealer charged me for my Custom Interceptor!!
Cheers Andy ....they look great in the flesh better than the meteor I think ...but ride much the same .... I'd like one but then there's the new gold star ⭐ !! Mark
Watched your video on the custom Interceptor and it was hard to watch. You had every right to be disgusted with the outrageous cost. That really takes the fun out of the project.
Hey thanks Mark for reviewing the classic 350! It's really nice seeing the comparison between this and the Meteor. I always enjoy your no nonsense reviews!! Cheers from Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 👍
YEAH, BABY! As a Meteor 350 owner, I've been wanting this bike too; I just LOVE the look of the Classic 350! Years ago, I liked the Classic 500 (i.e. the one with the UCE), but RE stopped making it before I got one. Since the new Classic 350 shares the same brakes, frame, and engine with the Meteor, I figured it would be a sweet ride too. Your review confirmed that indeed it is. I'd change out the stock filter and snorkel for a DNA high flow filter and bellmout/airbox cover. Not only would the bike wake up; it would have a deeper, throatier thump! Now, I shall give my local RE dealer a call, so I can get my name on the list for a sweet Chrome Red... :)
A very appealing motorcycle. I love the mechanical simplicity. It is also one of the prettiest bikes I've ever seen. To me, it looks better than the Meteor. Thanks for an excellent review, Mark.
From here on the other side of the screen it looks GREAT. Your impression is that the build quality is high, that caught my attention. It's very stylish and comes in 7 colours, wow.. Plus it shifts smoothly, light clutch, has a nice looking comfortable seat and good low rpm thumpy sound too. Makes it lot of sweet little bike for the buck.
Excellent video, Mark! Crisp and informative, just the way I like it. I own the Signals Marsh Grey variant and agree with everything you said. The random pops and bangs from the exhaust makes it extra enjoyable to ride. It is surprising that the UK market gets one with a toe shifter while we Indians get the “heel and toe” rocker. You’ve earned a subscriber!
Thank you for the detailed review. I have always found the tiger lampsa bit of a mystery since my childhood days in the 80s Madras. What was their original purpose, did it help conserve battery life, did it have a military purpose when it could be driven in dull light to avoid detection, serve any signalling pupose. So much history mystery and charm. Thanks to RE for keeping it that way.
@@markpulling12 Enjoyed both yours and Exeter Rider reviews on the Voge models. They look great for the money. This RE classic looks awesome! So much choice, we've never had it so good! All the best. 👍
My eye loves these bikes! At 6'4" tall and over 35 years of riding...I need forward controls and high bars...but man, my eye loves these little bikes! Reminds me so much of the 70s bikes I rode in the 80s.
SO stoked these are finally making their way into our markets again my friend. absolutely cracking video on an amazing machine, gonna have to pick one up when they get stateside.
At last, a bike with proper mudguards that actually guard the bike from the mud 👍👍👍👍👍 I am happy with my NC750X but I would consider one of these as a second bike. As with my previous '93 500 Bullet I would remove the pillion seat and I would want to fit suitable classic panniers in order for the bike to be a practical vehicle. The '93 Bullet cost me £2300 new so the price for new 350 is very reasonable. Now if only my nearest dealer was not 250 miles away and I was not a ridiculous 6'4'' tall 😭 I wonder if there is an option to put the ignition switch on the side panel where it should be....
Those Honda's are hard to beat... A brilliant all rounder and a surprisingly "classic" bike engine response. Amazing fuel economy too. Can't help thinking Honda are missing a trick by not putting that engine in a "retro"
@Cooper, if you’re insanely tall, first of all, i think you would still be fine. If not, you could buy the touring seat accessory. I am 5’7” tall and the regular seat was quite manageable but could not flat foot entirely. Then I moved on to the touring seat with a plush seat cover for long rides. The seat height actually increased and now i can touch the ground with 1/4 of my feet. But for you it would be perfect. Don’t worry your knees won’t hit anything while riding since there is enough space at the sides of the tank. Give it a shot and tailor it to your own tastes. You’ll love it.
I was sold on the Himalayan, still am, but will definitely give the Classic 350 a test ride, before, I decide. Looking at a bike from RE in the next 6 months. Well done review.
What a wonderful report! And the 350cc looks fantastic. Air-cooled, as it should be BSA!!!! And now waiting for the 500cc. But I am very satisfied with my Royal Enfield Interceptor Chrome 2019. A trouble-free, beautiful machine. Kind regards Kobus the Netherlands 👍🍻👋
First time viewer. This is a great review, particularly your real time riding impressions. The detail comments on fit and finish as well as center stand /maneuverability is very useful. Now subscribed
Hi Mark, congratulations on the first UK review of the Classic 350, Certainly the best review I've seen! I ordered one last December, so great to see one for real on British Roads. Nice that they've put on a conventional gear lever, but disappointing there's no Tripper. The Chrome model"s only a couple of hundred more than the Halcyon, So for the extra cost of the chrome tank and mudguards, the Tripper, can't be that expensive. I did see somewhere that the problem is the world wide computer chip shortage. There's been precious little information from RE about the UK launch, regarding things like the colour and number off seats, {I hope mine comes with black seats (Halcyon black)),.and optional extras such as the Tripper. Interestingly, none of the insurance companys seem to have the bike on their lists yet, so not been able to get a quote. I guess a phone call would sort that out. So so glad I didn't buy the Meteor I test rode last September!! Thanks again for the Excellent review Mark, Stay safe.
It was supposed to have tripper nav as standard on the right side of speedo where the R logo is but later dropped due to chip shortage, available as optional though.
@@drip_monke2542 I don't know if they're available in the UK, they don't seem to be on the list of accessories, but have seen them for sale on eBay from India.( and someone is selling a conversion kits including Tripper for the 650 Interceptor )There is a TH-cam video showing someone taking off the headlight to reveal a lead with the square plug that fits in the base of the tripper unit, so it should hopefully be quite a simple fix.
Thanks for the review. Think this is the first one I’ve seen. I know RE said this was a whole new bike, but I’d be interested to see one side by side with a Bullet 500. It looks to me like they are very similar, with some minor tweaks and upgrades and they’ve replaced the 500 single for a 350. The Meteor still offers the better value for money, but the cruiser style is not for everyone. I’m sure RE will have a trials version and a scrambler version soon enough. Would be nice if they went a bit out there and did a flat tracker or even a super futuristic version with this same engine.
This is a whole new bike. Trust me I own one and compared with the old bullet. Every nut and bolt is proper and brand new. The design team truly did a phenomenal job, it looks like the old bullet but everything is new.
Beautiful Emerald Green color. For a nice runabout motorcycle I don’t think you could beat it. Royal Enfield continues to up the game on value motorcycles. Two things I would like on all road bikes are tubeless tires and gear indicator. Also a chain driven cycle needs a center stand for ease of service. Great review, as always, and keep ‘em coming as I’m out of commission here in Wisconsin Winter. All the best!
@@tanmayhaldar7565 Tanmay thanks for the info. Is there a tubeless option for the Interceptor 650? I’m waiting to see if the Super Meteor 650 will be sold in US as they have included alloy wheels and a gear indicator. Royal Enfield is on a roll.
@Bucky Badger It's been a year Bud 😃 hope you are keeping well. There is unfortunately no tubeless option for the Interceptor......quite a bummer. There is some after market kit that let's you convert to tubeless......but it's quite shady.
@@tanmayhaldar7565 Thanks for your feedback. That will make the Super Meteor 650 all that much more interesting. RE seems to listen to their customers and they deliver. Not a big cruiser guy but I’ll sign up for a test ride as soon as one arrives. Cheers from snowy Wisconsin, and all the best.
I LOVE this bike and cant wait to test ride it. Im used to big bikes and ride a Harley Road King so im a bit scared it will feel tiny but guess ill just have to try it. looks gorgeous.
Hi both, My main bike is a Harley Roadking but I also have a Meteor Stellar and it's a lovely bike to ride. There's no pressure to always ride fast or "press on" that comes with a faster bike. It's more enjoyable riding a small bike fast than a fast bike slow.
You were quickly on to this model, Mark. The light blue one looks fantastic. They all look great without the rear seat. This would make a great commuter across London. I used to manage it on an MZ ETZ301. This would have been pleasanter. I like this model better than the Meteor. Sensible gear change, too. I like the single-cylinder engine. What a good price! Too much chrome for me, though. I like none. Finally, why can't all bikes, apart from sports bikes, have centre stands. Excellent review, Mark.
There's the signals editon of this bike, which is supposed to be tribute to the signals division of the (Indian) military which has used this bike exclusively. It's completely blacked out and has dull camo military colours usually. That should be more to your liking. But this being classic, without the association of the military, chrome and shine looks very appropriate and attractive on these bikes. And trust me, in flesh the green is just absolutely marvelous, much so than the other colours. Even someone like me who doesn't love the chrome thinks some extra chrome would just compliment that brilliant green shade.
I've a '23 green, love it. Over 1500 miles in last month, flawless performance, great ergonomics, and a gentle enjoyable ride. Well worth the $5,800 USD.
I bought the Chrome-Red version back in September 2021 when the bike launched. The random pop sound in exhaust when changing gear makes it so much enjoyable
Wonderful wonderful beautiful bike I love it! I bet you get stoped & asked loads of questions on that brilliant bike! Fantastic review mark clean honest & truthful!
As usual, nice video Mark. I like the Classic 350 better than the Meteor. I like the "proper" seating position. The old English style of riding, even if I am in the U.S. I watched videos of a red and chrome Classic and that would be the one I'd want. I currently own a $37,000 Harley and I keep asking myself WHY??? when a Royal Enfield does the same thing for a fraction of the cost.
@@markpulling12 We bought the Harley because my wife's health issues. She has battled cancer eight times in the last ten years and when the cancer attacked her brain it caused her to have seizures. We feel on a two wheeled bike a seizure might cause an accident injuring both of us and maybe others. On a trike we feel I'll be able to pull over and tend to her needs without harming any one. But I'd still love to own a 2022 RE Classic 500 just to enjoy two wheeling from time to time. Thanks for the reply Mark, I appreciate it.
Guys,I just visited a dealership and I want to make a note on the colour, this one and the brown one have a glittering paint job. It looks really pretty in person. You can see metallic flakes in the paint. Just thought it is something that people should know as none of the cameras pick those up. Same with the orange interceptor.
I love the looks of the Classic more than the standard 350 Meteor. This is the model I would choose if I were in the market for a new bike. Hopefully, it will be available soon in South Florida where I live.
Nice one Mark!....well done for such an early review of the Classic 350. It looks brilliant and seems to go well enough...fit and finish looks great too. When you scrolled through the trim/colour options I couldn't see a the two with the black engine casings and cast wheels that I'd seen on the web....have you any idea if we're getting them in the UK?...I reckon they'd be the perfect all rounder not having tubed tyres. Edit....I've just checked the UK site...all have spoked wheels....looks like we're not getting them....Indian site has cast wheels on two tank/black engine case options.
Love it Mark not surprised you’ve had 1k likes and 24k views already It’s definitely a winner and will sell like hot cakes … the colour combinations are beautiful 😻 Wonderful review again spot on !! Roll on spring Enfield and BSA Happy 2022
@@markpulling12 Yes you would be perfect for that! No no one knows yet or the dealerships But it’s coming for sure Can’t wait myself to test one and the Enfield . Not that easy trying to review on camera you do a great job 👏
Mark, thanks for the review. I am surprised, I have the same exact version of this bike albeit with alloy wheels (chose it as accessory in MiY program of RE) however it comes with cruiser style heel & toe gear shift lever as standard. In fact, my decision to buy it was because I am very used to the heel and toe shift gear shift lever (last bike was a non-RE cruiser). You might want to ask your local dealer if it can be switched with a heal and toe shifter.
I can see Hitchcocks very quickly bringing out a 500cc or 535cc bore upgrade kit for this. In their bigger home market I get it… but most Uk riders (and USA riders) prefer the 500cc. I love mine and won’t part with it, add a suitably ripe aew exhaust and a PowerTronic unit and you’re well away! Thank for vid! 👍🏻
What a great motorcycle the only bike your ever need, I ride a 500 classic which always puts a smile on my face looks forward to testing the 350, thanks for the road test .
Such a nice looking bike which will appeal to older guys like me. If this was available when I bought my Meteor I really don't know which one I would have chosen. Top class review as always Mark.
If I didn't already have a Himalayan I would buy one of these as a second bike. I have a BMW R1250R and it doesn't get used anything like as much as the little Enfield. Forget the low power output these things are so much fun.
Love the look of it single seated and it roars beautifully !! Great review as always. PS. That second bike that overtook you on the dual carriage way sounded stunning!! Aprilia RS maybe?
what a lovely little bike. I like the meteor but this does look like a real classic and beautiful colour to. as always Mark a good review.thanks. oh and I bought the Forza 750 ,yours and others comments help me decide on getting the 750 instead of the 350.
Really enjoy your reviews Mark. You keep to the facts and tell us what we want to hear. So many others blabber on about themselves or advertising this, that or the other. Good man 👏
At the shop I was torn between this green one and the Halcyon Gray ( really light blue ). The blue one wasn't ready to go our for a test ride yet, so the salesman pushed the green one out into the sunshine for us. And OMG - I'm so glad he did! For out in the bright sunlight this green one, which I had likened to British Racing Green in the showroom - turned out to be all full of sparkles! Which I hated! Sealed the deal for me! I came back a few days later and picked up my gorgeous blue 350. Most comfortable ride ever!
I had a Honda 350 years ago...suspect I would like this one even better. (I'd ride it on the other side of the road, though...I would have a lot of trouble riding on the left side of the road). Thanks, Jan
Lovely bike Royale Enfield really turn out some superb looking bikes and a great rage of colors to all at very competitive prices too ,I have to say for me I would always leave the pillion seat on as I prefer that look than the single seat .Great review as ever Mark cheers : )
Proud owner of same Halcyon green (India) lovely review Mark and i would like to say it is beast with beauty what a lovely machine....if any one is planning buy this beast go undoubtedly.....everything is top notch....
What a fantastic looking bike. Pity RE did not fully enclose the final drive chain as MZ used to do. If they had then the drive chain would last forever with little maintenance due to only having 20hp to deal with and being protected from the rain, grit + mud.
Great looking bike, and great presentation style. Cheers. One thing, I wouldn't be accepting a brand new bike with those ugly dealership badges on the tank.
Love 'classic' styled motorcycles. Royal Enfield 'Classic' one of the best looking current production motorcycles on the road in my opinion. Hope Royal Enfield keeps the 'Classic' in the lineup as there is a market for classic standard frame style as well as mechanical simplicity.
@@stevehamilton306 The interceptor is the 650 classic, Shotgun would be more of a meteor 650. But ofcourse it can be modified to have the same riding triangle as a classic if that's what one wants.
A proper lovely bike. I wish we got them here in the US. Like my Interceptor, I am so impressed with the tone with the factory exhaust. Simply pleasing as you run up and down. It looks dead smooth in the mirrors. Magic!
Have been looking at getting one of these or a Meteor for my first bike in over 25 years. Love this green on the Classic but need to see the Gold trim in person. In some pics/vids it's a nice pale gold and in others it looks very pinky like a rose-gold. Hope to get a ride of both the Meteor and Classic in the next month or two. Cheers for the vid.
Mark 1st time on your channel and I must say congratulations on being the 1st. One of my friends has just put a deposit on a blue/grey one and I must admit Ive registered a interest in the BSA but.... I think I could be tempted by the red/chrome version.
Hi Phil thanks ....yes I've registered an interest as well but more for a reviewing one point of view .. lots of hype and advertising on the bsa but no one seems to know who is importing or selling it ! Lol I would highly recommend the classic it's great Regards mark
Living in America, that van @ 16:07 freaked me right the hell out... you silly left side road users! Do love the look and sound of this bike though. The gauge is simple and clear. Good looking.
An excellent "real world" review as always Mark.I am the same height as you, but much older... so your "sit on and feet on the floor" test is very usefull.Thank You.
Great review Mark. Definitely will be a big seller. The green colour is a real eye-catcher for sure. It is August & these are due to arrive in Canada this month. My local dealer said he is only getting 4 in the first shipment & they are all sold. Cheers, Ronny
Truly, one of the best motorcycle reviews I've watched in years. Thank you sincerely Mark for sharing. The colour is just amazing. What name is it known by?, as this would most certainly be the one I'd go for. Have seen quite a lot of bike reviews of late, looking for the "One" to grace my Garage , and I do believe I've found it in the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Thanks again, cheers and ride safe...
Hello again Mark, and I would like to share with you that I'm now the proud owner of a new RE 350 Classic. And to top it off, this stunningly beautiful lady's attire is a fabulous *Halcyon Green* ensemble. Your excellent detailed review is what clinched it for me. Of course, I'd like to also give a big "shout out" to all the other reviewers as well, as they too were all of one voice in their praise of this iconic motorcycle. Thanks again Mark for taking me along as a virtual Pillion passenger. All that was missing was the wind in my face. Cheers from the Land Down Under...
I love completely this RE Classic, I hope someday get this bike and enjoy all this life with that beautiful machine. It's a great video thank you for your opinion for those people who are interested on these RE Classic. Greetings
Top shelf review! I want to love it so badly, especially the “signals army green” version. I don’t know if we’ll be fortunate enough to get it here in the States?
Such a sweet looking and sounding little bike. Personally I would go for the gunmetal grey colour with aluminium rims and blacked out motor and exhaust parts since I like riding more than cleaning and polishing. For a similar reason I also wish it came with a belt drive.
Thank you for the amazing review and not sounding like a commercial, Love seeing your country from a bikers point of view it's a lot like my neck of the woods in Ohio farm community .this has made me decide to own one this coming year I'm going to get the chrome bronze one I love the look safe ridding ...
Yummy... I want one. A shame that the sage green didn't make it. That was actually one of my favorite color schemes. RE really nailed it with this one. A shame that they lost the heelshifter; maybe it will come as an option. The first non-indian review I found, Congrats !
Trading in my 500 bullet for the classic. 350 had a test ride on it boy was I impressed so smooth don't get me wrong I love my bike but when I rode this one the difference was like chalk and cheese just fantastic the one I have my eye on is the one you were on the Halcyon green a really nice looking bike. Great review by the.way
Nice informative vid, a modern interpretation of a trad 'brit-bike' from the 1950s or there-abouts. Without all the reliability issues with buying one of the original ones! And with build quality at a decent price. I have a trident 660 for faster riding, but will now buy one of these in the desert signals scheme, as a second bike! 👍
Sounds like a really nice bike, and just look at those lovely "proper" mudguards! Great review Mark. This updated classic should sell by the boatload to the more traditional dare I say sensible? riders. Lovely bike, just a shame it's not made in Britain but there we are.
Absolutely fantastic Mark, really well done for bring us the first review of this stunning bike here in the UK. High quality review as always, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Stay well and safe.
Many thanks Andrew ...a beautiful bike to look at and ride !
Why did they stop making the 500 classic, with this engine it would be great!
@@xxdummyfreshful failed emissions I think.
@@xxdummyfreshful emission norms plus overhaul of the complete portfolio left very small place for an ancient 500 to live.

Much better looking than the Meteor in my humble opinion. Each to his own I guess. Thanks Mark for such an early review in the UK.
Thanks Craig ...it rides much the same as the meteor, unsurprisingly, but think I'd go for the classic for its "look"

Many thanks Scott ....yes these are great bikes 👍
Thank you so much for answering the most pressing question I had about the bike, it's suitability for bigger lads. I am also 6'4 (though my doctor insists age has made me 6'3 now..) so I have been a bit concerned it would be too small for me. Did you opt for the spring seat option or anything else to help with the height or are you just using the standard seating? Again thank you for your comments on the matter.

Comfortable too. I put the black ones on my Halcyon Grey and it is lovely!!!

Ok bjorn my pleasure :)
Many thanks gene 😊
Greetings from the mountains of southern California. I bought the 650 Interceptor in San Diego in June 2019 and I've got nearly 24k miles so far. As nice as my Interceptor is I really think this Classic 350 looks even better.
Thanks I'd agree with you on that :)
Regards mark
Great video Mark, nicely done. Bike looks great - love those colours! Really looking forward to having a go on one of these. Great price too - I could buy 4 of these for the price the RE dealer charged me for my Custom Interceptor!!
Cheers Andy ....they look great in the flesh better than the meteor I think ...but ride much the same .... I'd like one but then there's the new gold star ⭐ !!
Mark
My first thought exactly. Or a Continental GT & a used 350/500. 🤓
@@markpulling12 We're spoiled for choice!
Watched your video on the custom Interceptor and it was hard to watch. You had every right to be disgusted with the outrageous cost. That really takes the fun out of the project.
Yeah, it's a sore point. I saw your video and can't believe what you've been through with your custom.
I’m in love with how that bike looks! My current ride is a Triumph 955 but I’d happily add one of these to the stable even if it is only a 350
Hey thanks Mark for reviewing the classic 350! It's really nice seeing the comparison between this and the Meteor.
I always enjoy your no nonsense reviews!! Cheers from Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 👍
Thanks and greetings to Canada :)
What a fantastic motorcycle.... I hope they sell well... And yes a 350cc motorcycle is big enough to enjoy on our roads in the UK... Fantastic 😊
Thanks Stuart ... love this classic 350 :)
This new classic 350 also has a rich history , I'm sold on this review Mark, will head out and buy one!
Thanks yes I'll probably get one at some point as well 😉
New Classic. What an oxymoron.
Thanks mark great choice 😊
There is 1 bike left in RE showroom Dubai. Classic 500
A very appealing motorcycle. I love the mechanical simplicity. It is also one of the prettiest bikes I've ever seen. To me, it looks better than the Meteor. Thanks for an excellent review, Mark.
Thanks my pleasure 😊
Very similar to the Suzuki TU 250 which is quite a classic bike....
A minor thing for many, But for me Its a real shame that they removed the kickstart lever, for the rest it's still a beautiful motorcycle.
Yes... I absolutely loved the kickstart lever. I am really disappointed they removed it. I wish they could add it for the European version.
Agreed. I own a Bullet 500 Trials, and one of the quirky pleasures is starting the bike using the kick-start.
Thanks for that very good review Mark. She’s a beauty with a classic look and sound, and you can’t beat the price. Cheers, Dan 👍🏍🇨🇦
Thanks 👍

I didn't see this on the USA website. This is one of the best looking motorcycles I've ever seen.
Not a day goes by I don't think of a RE500 classic.
This 350 could dent my bank account if I test ride it for sure.
I adore it😍😍
Hi ER,this or the voge .....mmmm can i have both please :) !
Thanks Matt 😊
I feel very happy and proud to see this video that it is made in India by Indian company 😍🥰🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
At last, a bike with proper mudguards that actually guard the bike from the mud 👍👍👍👍👍
I am happy with my NC750X but I would consider one of these as a second bike.
As with my previous '93 500 Bullet I would remove the pillion seat and I would want to fit suitable classic panniers in order for the bike to be a practical vehicle.
The '93 Bullet cost me £2300 new so the price for new 350 is very reasonable.
Now if only my nearest dealer was not 250 miles away and I was not a ridiculous 6'4'' tall 😭
I wonder if there is an option to put the ignition switch on the side panel where it should be....
Thanks ... green comment

Thanks ric
Many thanks ric
What a wonderful report! And the 350cc looks fantastic. Air-cooled, as it should be BSA!!!! And now waiting for the 500cc. But I am very satisfied with my Royal Enfield Interceptor Chrome 2019. A trouble-free, beautiful machine. Kind regards Kobus the Netherlands 👍🍻👋

Thanks Pete .bet you can't wait to get yours ...I guarantee it will be worth it ...it's glorious to ride ,I didn't want to give it back
Regards mark
It comes with tripper.
Many thanks and greetings to Wisconsin :)
Tubeless alloys are available as optional on the New Classic 350
That’s what I want! Thanks for making this Mark. You absolutely nailed it with this review.

Beautiful review Mark. Spot on camera angles and the color is gorgeous.
Thank You for the wonderful review.

I didn't think these would be in the UK for another 2 or 3 months. Thanks for the UK review.
Most loved Motorcycle in India.....glad you had a good time with it mate.
Yes it's brilliant 😊
I LOVE this bike and cant wait to test ride it. Im used to big bikes and ride a Harley Road King so im a bit scared it will feel tiny but guess ill just have to try it. looks gorgeous.
Thanks I'm sure you will love it ☺️
Hi both, My main bike is a Harley Roadking but I also have a Meteor Stellar and it's a lovely bike to ride. There's no pressure to always ride fast or "press on" that comes with a faster bike. It's more enjoyable riding a small bike fast than a fast bike slow.
Worth watching Ol' man Ronin channel.
Almost tempted to buy one on your excellent review alone, Mark!
Thanks Mac I'd go for it you won't be disappointed cheers mark
You were quickly on to this model, Mark. The light blue one looks fantastic. They all look great without the rear seat. This would make a great commuter across London. I used to manage it on an MZ ETZ301. This would have been pleasanter. I like this model better than the Meteor. Sensible gear change, too. I like the single-cylinder engine. What a good price! Too much chrome for me, though. I like none. Finally, why can't all bikes, apart from sports bikes, have centre stands.
Excellent review, Mark.
Thanks Nik ....yes Ive been watching and waiting for this one to land in the UK for months ...hence the early test ride :)
Cheers mark
There's the signals editon of this bike, which is supposed to be tribute to the signals division of the (Indian) military which has used this bike exclusively. It's completely blacked out and has dull camo military colours usually. That should be more to your liking. But this being classic, without the association of the military, chrome and shine looks very appropriate and attractive on these bikes.
And trust me, in flesh the green is just absolutely marvelous, much so than the other colours. Even someone like me who doesn't love the chrome thinks some extra chrome would just compliment that brilliant green shade.
That was so useful... thank you for taking the time to make this vid. It helped me make a decision and I've just bought one. 😃
It sounds great 👍😊 I agree
Wonderful wonderful beautiful bike I love it! I bet you get stoped & asked loads of questions on that brilliant bike! Fantastic review mark clean honest & truthful!
Thanks John . Yes lots of interest down at Poole quay :)
Good point gene these Enfield's are fantastic vfm cheers mark
Thanks ..yes I prefer the classic too

Nice one Mark!....well done for such an early review of the Classic 350. It looks brilliant and seems to go well enough...fit and finish looks great too. When you scrolled through the trim/colour options I couldn't see a the two with the black engine casings and cast wheels that I'd seen on the web....have you any idea if we're getting them in the UK?...I reckon they'd be the perfect all rounder not having tubed tyres.
Edit....I've just checked the UK site...all have spoked wheels....looks like we're not getting them....Indian site has cast wheels on two tank/black engine case options.
I think the cast wheels are an option on the UK website Alan if that helps

This is no ordinary bike loved by all over the world legend very simple easy to maintain this will be top seller in uk

I tried one of these in North Devon and loved it. I was so tempted to bring it home.
If I didn't already have a Himalayan I would buy one of these as a second bike. I have a BMW R1250R and it doesn't get used anything like as much as the little Enfield. Forget the low power output these things are so much fun.

A great review Mark, the classic 350 really is a charming little bike.
Sure is Garry didn't want to give it back !
What a fantastic looking bike.
Pity RE did not fully enclose the final drive chain as MZ used to do. If they had then the drive chain would last forever with little maintenance due to only having 20hp to deal with and being protected from the rain, grit + mud.
Dont know about the new 350 but the indian market used to make a lot of stuff like that for old models
I got a MZ in the shed one of the last one's from East Germany before they went to Turkey a 1990 250GTZ stick only got 10000km.
You’ll get third party accessories soon mate. You can also replace it with brass coated chain which last longer.
@@highlandrab19 mate they will make stuff for the new one as well because it weill sell
Old 350 Bullet used the crank ventilation to lube the chain. This was surprisingly, if not worryingly efficient.
The Meteor could have this color. It would be really good!
Great looking bike, and great presentation style. Cheers.
One thing, I wouldn't be accepting a brand new bike with those ugly dealership badges on the tank.
Agree with you. Specially on a beautiful bike like this RE. Horrible sticks!
Can’t wait for the 650 twin version of this to come out. 350cc is probably a bit underpowered for Australian roads. Great review.
I agree we have a lot of wankers here that drive their suv/dualcabs up your arse trying to push you off the road.
@@colinwest5496 Yep.
@CarryTheTruth my understanding is that’s what the shotgun will be, a 650 classic
@@stevehamilton306 The interceptor is the 650 classic, Shotgun would be more of a meteor 650. But ofcourse it can be modified to have the same riding triangle as a classic if that's what one wants.
The BSA Gold Star is the 650 version of this, a single cylinder motorcycle. Maybe RE will bring out a 500 Classic.
A proper lovely bike. I wish we got them here in the US. Like my Interceptor, I am so impressed with the tone with the factory exhaust. Simply pleasing as you run up and down. It looks dead smooth in the mirrors. Magic!

Lovely bike Mark, the antithesis of machines with zillion position suspension systems and more lights on the dash than a Christmas tree.
Man I hope they bring these to America. Such a beautiful machine.
