    Sali from Cars4men.de in Germany installed the Dieselgeek P2015 fix on his customer's Audi A4 without removing the black plastic intake manifold 03L 129 711AG. Sali used a small ratchet and a shortened T30 driver bit to gain sufficient access to loosen one of the T30 headed screws in between the manifold and the cylinder head. By not removing the intake manifold Sali reduced the risk of fuel system contamination since not of the fuel lines had to be opened during the procedure. Well done Sali!
    Sali used a Wurth bit ratchet 712.01450 to do the job. You can also use VIM HBR3, HBR4 or HBR5 as well.

      Thats just 2 hours. Still better than manifold dismount and mount again. And no risk of high presshre fuel lines contamination and future injector and other problems.

    Greetings from Austria. Thank you for this wonderful useful video. I used a 6mm ring ratched with modified 1/4" bit. Pretty funny end of the video. "NOW YOU HAVE TO TIGHTEN THE SCREWS, AND THAT S IT." This ten seconds in video took me 1 1/2 hours. But anyway. All in all 800 € safed ~ 950 USD. Quote from the Audi service team. Not that easy but don't give up! Thank you guys!!!

    Greeting from Norway! Did this yesterday, my 2010 Audi TDI B8 had the P2015 fault. Followed the instructions here, and did the operation on less then 1 hour. Yes, it was tight, but straightforward. Be sure to put a rag around the working area, I missed the bracket in the engine bay, luckily I did find it on top of the gearbox... Used Vim HBR4 bit ratchet and a shortened bit. Fault code gone! Thanks for this useful video.

    Wow, works on my Passat B6 3C. But my motor was built in 180 degrees turned. It's very tricky! The Motor has to be completely cold. It works! After one hour and thirty minutes the work has done!
Super! Danke für diese tolle Anleitung!

    Thanks for helping us. I have little question if possible. I was getting p2015 and installed bracket. It is 2.0 TDI CR with plastic intake manifold. Mechanic needed to take away manifold to install bracket, he disconnected fuel lines from high pressure fuel pump because they were covering intake manifold. Anyway, long story short, no more p2015 but after this engine started to work louder, after few days i noticed he did not tightened fuel line bolt from high pressure fuel pump to rail and the fuel was leaking under high pressure fuel pump, including revving up on idle to compensate for the pressure i guess. I visited mechanic once again and he fixed this by tightening the screw but engine still works louder along the vibrations on idle, no revving on idle anymore. Is it possible that 'ecu/computer' needs to learn new settings while driving, or there is 'air' in fuel lines? is it possible that he damaged hpfp because he did not tightened fuel line from hpfp to rail? or something else? thanks a lot to anyone having time to help me out

    Just one more question.
    In Audi CAHA with plastic manifold - is there any risk of flap detachment and sucking it into the engine causing huge engine problems, if I will use my car for few days after P2015 appeared? I'm asking because I have heard that in "some engines" , "some flap problems" can cause disaster because flap can detach.

    EDIT: Just wanted to also mention that i like how your bracket has a slot so that the screw doesnt have to be completely removed. Other brackets have a whole so screw has to be fully removed so might be a little more difficult.
    Couldnt you just use the torx bit and insert it into the torx screw and grip it with a pliers to loosen it?
    Also, if i did this and decided to loosen all 3 screws to remove the sensor and open it up for a clean is it difficult to get it out?

    • @irishRocker1
      @irishRocker1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dieselgeekdotcom Yes I understand. By gripping the torque bit you would have to move very tiny amounts repeatedly, if it can even turn enough to allow to remove, reset, repeat. I ordered Bosch 2607017160. It looks similar size to the zebra but is £16 vs £85. I will try it and if it works, great. If it doesn't work, it will be useful to have anyway for cheap price and I will bring to a garage. If I spend £85 for a mini ratchet it is probably better to pay that money to a professional to do it. Thank you for your help!

    • @irishRocker1
      @irishRocker1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dieselgeekdotcom Thanks so much to you and Sali for the video. I finally completed the installation yesterday. It was a pain! very awkward job and could not have done it without this video. I used Bosch 2607017160. I tried changing the latch direction with a screwdriver but that was a bad idea. It lifted the lever and would not ratchet properly in either direction so worried I had just embedded it in the engine but was able to press the lever back in with a screw driver and it worked properly again. There is room to flip the lever with your fingers so hopefully nobody else makes my mistake. Also, when i started it up there was about 5-6 error codes with fuel sensor stuff etc. It's because a lot of the connectors were disconnected and so on, but it was running and once cleared, it's been clear since yesterday. So if anyone sees additional fault codes, don't panic. Probably would have cleared the faults itself eventually

  • @markjames6099
    @markjames6099 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes, it does work and it is a pain in the a**. A 6mm bi-hex ring spanner and a T30 bit works just as well as the ratchet. To get as much operating space as possible and to make sure that the bracket is in the right place, you should pull the arm up out the way with a long cable tie. Once done, the engine management system will take some time to reset itself and for the engine management warning light to go off. I thought I had failed only to find that the next morning I started the engine, the management light was off. Good luck!!

    After this "fix" the following error will appear : P2009 means the intake manifold runner control circuit has excessively low voltage for bank 1 . This happen because you block the because after applying the limiter, the flap no longer makes its way and burns. Which will inevitably result in a change in the throttle valve
