- Shohei Ohtani made history and I took home an INCREDIBLE piece of memorabilia. How did I get it? How much other insane stuff happened over the course of the day? From my hookup with the Athletics bullpen to Mike Trout saying my name to the baseballs I snagged in unusual ways the answer is: A LOT!

The lineup card is arguably better because the scarcity of them. Having a lineup card from Shohei Ohtani's 100th Career Home Run is a great item to have in one's baseball collection.
That's a nice way to look at it. :)
Talking about scarcity that 100th baseball is the only one and there’s no guarantee of 200, 300 or 400 it is 100% better than a lineup card that they have every game.
That very might be a treasure in 30 years
Its also not the lineup card from the #100 game
Ohtani is nothing special. How has his great pitching been so far? His ERA is awful for a once in a lifetime player 😆

Line-up cards are my favorite form of game memorabilia because of the uniqueness of them. There is always one set of cards per game, and they are usually never given out to the public, making every card special.
I like those cards too
I like them too and have a few in my collection, but teams sell almost every lineup card from every game.
When I was a kid, after the Celtics game at the old Boston Garden, I used to go down to the press board and grab the stat sheets.
I got one. Stl vs LAD 16-1 I believe. Dodgers whooped them

Dustin Hughes is the man! So many hookups from him. Two lineup cards in one day? Only Dustin Hughes and Jake from Pittsburgh. I came so close to getting one from Logan O’Hoppe yesterday after I was done working after the game. He remembered me throughout the series and signed a ball for me one day and a ticket the next. 6 game series and saw him the last 5 games of the series. Finally introduced myself to him yesterday and he said he’ll remember me for sure. He is OUR guy!!! Just got Eastern League Player of the Week after hitting 5 home runs in 6 games.

My family went on vacation in Florida in 2019 and we decided to go to Angels/Rays on Father’s Day. I’m a Phillies fan, so I didn’t care about who won. All I cared about was watching Trout in person for the first time ever. He hit a home run in the ninth and I felt like a little kid with how excited I was lol.
Angels have been my No. 2 team since.

The very fact that mike trout knew his superfan by name made me smile, especially since the player is a very nice person; but oh boy, the lineup cards, they are the most unique form of baseball memorabilia (far more so than the balls themselves) and these two from the angels-athletics doubleheader, particularly the second, are proof

I remember vividly watching Zito throw a bullpen back on the A's. His curveball was insane to see up close. Same game, Frank 'The Big Hurt' Thomas was on the A's at the time and he was practically doing a home run derby by himself in BP! Good times for an amazing price, since it was the Oakland Collisium after all!

Zack, reason why this stadium is so weirdly structured is because it is the last “dual purposed” stadium. The old Oakland Raiders, it’s a piece and even the A’s deserve better
