- The Oakland Athletics shocked the baseball world when they announced they'd be moving to a minor league stadium. There are a lot of issues with this, sure. But what's it really like to see a game in the Major League Baseball's newest and smallest stadium? And what's all the controversy surrounding this decisions.

“Technically, this is not even Sacramento. It’s West Sacramento.” Technically, this isn’t even water. It’s bottled water.
Lol. Touche
Is NOT Sacramento... it's Yolo County... Broderick to be exact... the river is the county line
@@jbortega1178 you know that when residents of West Sac, Roseville, Elk Grove, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights, etc all say Sacramento when someone from far away asks where you're from. Yes, it's on the other side of the river, but you're closer to the Capitol or G1C from the baseball stadium than most of Sacramento proper. Weird to stress that West Sac isn't part of Sacramento from a regional perspective.
@@Pacidan that is true
It has as different mayor. It's in a different county. It's technically a different city
Sacramento resident here. From what I’ve seen/heard. Everyone in Sac is excited for an MLB team to come here. They are also looking at it as a “tryout” to hopefully either steal the A’s from Vegas or get an expansion team. Also, my buddy works in the right field pavilion as security and does attest that some of the dudes working there aren’t the sharpest crayon in the toolbox. Great Vid!
I talked to a few people out in the right field area. Lots of nice folks out there!
🤣
There are people that go to A's games that aren't exactly the sharpest crayon either.....
It’s only temporary though until 2028.
And I thought the Vegas deal was done ?
I have a feeling that Vegas is going to fall through and they will stay in Sacramento..
Good takes. But 90 degrees and dry with frequent delta breezes coming off the Sacto River literally right next to the ballpark is not more heinous than 90 degrees and 50,000% humidity in Houston, Dallas, Philly, Pittsburgh, KC, Baltimore, DC, Atlanta, NYC, Boston etc. Delta breezes mean there will be some Summer nights in Sacto that resemble the frozen tundra of Candlestick Park in July.
No doubt! Houston usually closes the roof but as soon as you leave the stadium...
90? When in may and October? The rest of the summer will hover at 100 and touch 110 in late July/early August
It doesn’t sound like you’ve ever been to Sacramento in the summer because if you had, you’d know that it only slightly cools down at night during one of the cities heat waves, with daytime temperatures hitting 105 degrees and above with no evening delta breeze in sight. Also most of the seats in the lower section are directly in the sun so you will roast like a pig on a Hawaiian barbecue.
@@SlipKid1975 Hey, at least it's not Redding. That would be worse than Phoenix and almost as bad as Houston or Arlington. The only thing I can figure is that they take the temperature readings at the water treatment plant since it's always atleast 2 degrees warmer than what the weather app says.
I've attended a couple of day games at this park, sitting on the "Homerun Hill" in the outfield. During the summer with 105 degree heat, it's no picnic. Maybe I'm a wimp, but I've never lasted a full day game with that heat.
Even during the first few innings of a night game during the summer you're still getting direct sun on the first base side. Not very comfortable.
Once the sun sets, the delta breeze usually kicks in, but it's always the case.
Takeaway: Being close to a AAA team stadium is a far better family experience than a MLB stadium.
Yeah, I bet that's almost universally true
I was sad when the Fresno Grizzlies went from Giants AAA to a single A team for some east coast team. I’ll still go but not as exciting.
It hasnt reached 90 yet in Sac. Also the park’s dimensions are the same to alot of MLB parks.
Why does this look more fun than most mlb ballparks?
John Fisher makes Bob Nutting look like a saint. Nutting has almost the same mentality as Fisher for payroll.
Totally. At least Bob has operated other businesses successfully. He had some track record before taking over in Pittsburgh.
@@AdamDoesNotExist I wish that he was passionate about winning and maybe we could have gotten a pennant by now. However as long as nutting is the owner of the franchise I will not go to another game. However people here in Pittsburgh look at the Pirates through rose tinned glasses and people still buy merch when they go to the ballpark for a night out. Nutting is only in the ownership for the hospitality and entertainment dollars. I’m almost 30 and Im so tired of the losing and the poor excuses nutting uses to not even try to win and stay a ship of futility.
@@robertmusgrave9236 You're right. It's the same mentality as Fisher. No interest in winning at all.
@@AdamDoesNotExist it’s a miracle that Pittsburgh voted to build PNC Park. What the A’s has done is basically letting three rivers stadium go down but never trying to fix it and the pirates don’t have a terrorty problem like the Bay Area has with the Giants and it was MLBs doing for the most part and they should have moved to San Jose.
Ayo what is bob doing?
Any stadium you can sit in the grass and not knock elbows with the person next to you is a good stadium.
100% There's no knocking elbows in the coli but for a different reason.
I'm a photographer for a Pioneer League (MLB partner league, same as the new oakland ballers), the Glacier Range Riders. These type of small scale games are magical. Family fun, cheap food and beer, and intimate viewing of some good baseball. However, I cannot imagine how chaotic and awful it will be when the A's take over. The ballparks are different for a reason, and Oakland is about to ruin the magic of this one.
Why do you say that? Even if every game sells out wouldn't that be a good thing? Or are you expecting the A's org to change things that make it worse? That I could see.
@@AdamDoesNotExist I think the A's are gonna change a lot of things and make it worse. Especially food prices, selling out such a small field every night will put super heavy stress on the game staff and security, and ticket prices will probably soar due to potential demand. I'm glad its just a temporary thing but I'm sure it is going to be chaos
I am super excited for the Yolo High Wheelers. Really excited for the ability walk to games
@@AdamDoesNotExist the A's ownership is the absolute worst. I expect them to screw everyone over and f*ck everything up. That's just what they do, and this is from a long time East Bay resident. Honestly, Fisher is a a garbage feeder who is out to soak every municipality for every dime he can.
Raley field isn’t cheap.
8:17 -- The concession stand is asking for a TIP? A 30% tip on a hot dog?? If you want a tip, you'll have to bring it to me at my seat.
I've thought about making a video about how tipping got so out of control.
So, what you might not know is non profits staff the food stands. It's minor league baseball, folks.
This is completely normal at Rogers Centre, they do this at every single concession stand.
Underappreciated video, you deserve more views! Cool to see where they'll be playing next year, it'll definitely be an interesting novelty, one that will likely overstay its welcome.
Thank you!!
I've been to plenty of games here and the experience is fantastic. Honestly, it's superior to anything the Coliseum could offer. And, as a bonus, the park holds about 40% more fans than the A's average attendance in 2023
Yeah kinda wild right!
WTH! IF the A's are going to play in a minor league ballpark, why aren't they going to play in the Las Vegas area where they first discussed? There they can generate local fan interest and cultivate the local fan base they so badly need! I'ts just logical!
This is apparently an interim solution while the stadium is being built. I think a bit part about it was keeping the media deal they have with NBC. If they moved to Vegas and out of the media market they'd have to figure out a new deal
I worked in the parking lot at Rally Field in 2019; the last year it was called by that name (and the year the River Cats won the Minor League World Series!). The stadium is immaculate and the River Cat organization treats the fans and their employees very well. Best non-career job I ever had! A lot of fun. When it was owned by the Savage family, the pay and perks couldn’t be beat. Not sure about now.
Over 1 summer working in the parking lot I experienced maybe 3 days where the heat was so bad, standing in the sun was unbearable. We used canopies on those days. Most day games you could count on the delta breeze to cool things down mid- afternoon…at least convinced you of that…but always making it tolerable. The sun was the devil. Night games were the best time to watch a game! Maybe schedule all night games to beat the heat?
One of the old timers once told me that when they built the stadium back in the late 90’s, they built the stadium foundation to allow for an additional deck(s) to be built should stadium expansion be necessary in the future. Word was that the Sac area and the Savage family always had an outside hope of attracting a major league team to Sacramento someday and wanted that option. Was never able to verify that story but the same guy told me……
The story about the War of the Stadiums between the cities of West Sacramento and Sacramento trying to attract the Vancouver Canadians to Sacramento back in the mid-late 90’s. Within miles of each other, both cities began constructing stadiums to attract the team. Eventually budget constraints caused Sac Town to stop building the baseball stadium-this later became the site of Arco Arena north of Sac in Natomas; another failed sports venture. This I personally confirmed. If you Google Map the Arco or Sleep Train Arena in Sac, you can still see the columns and foundation to the unfinished River Cat stadium. The playing field is now a pond. Thankfully, it looks like they finally knocked down that hideous Sleep Train arena.
Thanks for sharing this! Always great to hear some first person stories!!
Another great video. Thank you for showing us the new stadium. Keep up the good work! 💯
Thank you!
as a sac native and a lifelong Oakland fan I have no clue how to feel about this, but SELL the team
That's one thing I think we can all agree on.
My father was a die hard Philadelphia A’s fan. How do you think he has felt for the past 70 years!
Raley Field Opened in 2000, with the River Cats being the A's AAA team. This was just at the start of the Money ball era when the A's were really good and you could see a lot of their former starts come through Sacramento. The A's and Sacramento had an amazing relationship then in 2015 the A's moved their Minor league team to Nashville, then back to Vegas. Sacramento does not seem to have the same relationship with the Giants.
Hmm interesting. I didn't know all of that. Thanks for sharing!
It’s not a problem with the A’s. No one’s turning up anyway
Wait til it’s 110 out there
Too hot for me
Perfect weather 😂 keeps the Bay Area people away
Dude this is a great video. Lots of fun at the ballpark with a little story! Keep up the greet work.
Thank you! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it!!
I work here and saw myself in the video (cool!) and I’d say you got almost everything accurate. This was a very well made video, nice job
Thank you! It was a really good time. Staff in Sac was really nice to me!
As a Sacramento resident I’m happy to have the A’s here. Means I can see the Twins come whoop some ass closer to me!
HAHAHA!
We are so excited to have a team here in Sac. We are one of the biggest markets that have just 1 pro team, we pour our Kings and all of their struggles and have always wanted a baseball team so we can really make a run at keeping them
I'd guess that baseball is more suited to the culture of Sacramento than basketball. But I guess we'll find out
What was the capacity of the Buffalo, NY stadium where the Blue Jays were forced to play during COVID?
“There no capacity for attendance” like who cares they weren’t selling out their stadium now they won’t be selling this one out now
I’m going to the river cats game tonight
Have fun!
I can't wait until they make it to Vegas. The town is exited!
Sacramento might be a good place to look at for expansion once the A's move to Vegas
I wonder if MLB will look at this as a sort of try out for Sac
@@AdamDoesNotExistI wonder if MLB is looking at this to find a Sac based ownership group
@@MrGregorSF That's a possibility!
I'd rather go to a Sac Rivercats or Stockton Ports game then go to the Bay Area to see the Giants or A's. Cheaper, easier, more fun stuff, and better atmosphere overall at the minor league games. Growing up in the Bay Area I've been to plenty of games there. Just not worth it to me any more living in the Valley.
Totally. I get that.
My wife would not go to the hegenberger corridor with me. I took her twice and got harassed walking to our car. Going to MLB games has been a solo experience for me for a decade. Im excited to take my family to a game again.
Also, i love how suddenly the coliseum is this baseball mecca after its been a joke for 10+ years
This is a net positive
We are trading in the possum and sewer jokes for triple-a ballpark jokes. But at least my team is no longer 8 Miles from the Giants ballpark.
The biggest benefit of course will not be having 4000 fans at the game, but actually having a little bit of life with 14000.
Great video. By the way, I actually enjoyed it.
Thanks! It will be really interesting to see how things play out. I don't think anyone will argue that the Coliseum is in a safer neighborhood than Sutter Health.
There's a solution for those 100+ degrees days during the summer.
It's called nighttime.
this park was built in 8 1/2 months. And it was built to hold an upper deck and expand to 30,000 seats if needed.
In Oakland, you couldn't even get the permits in 8 1/2 months.
Imagine if they do go to the playoffs? Or the World Series?
That would be amazing
As an Astros fan living in Tahoe, this is the best news I have had in a while. Only Reno would have been a better deal for me. I will be doing drives to Sac all the time next year.
I get not wanting to pay for Amtrak but it’s so nice to have a beer and not worry about driving
Cheers to that! It's why I'm such a staunch advocate of BART for Coliseum games. But it's just so much less convenient for getting to Sac.
I’m hoping to catch a game there next year, doesn’t look too bad for a minor league stadium
Not bad at all!
That’s the point…it’s a very nice minor league stadium…There will be some major challenges that the team and the fans will have to deal with.
It’s a shame they didn’t move to the Las Vegas ballpark and start building their fan base in Vegas
There's a real chance that the Vegas stadium falls through. The MLB also didn't want the A's to play in a much hotter climate outdoors. At least in Sac there can be a nice breeze off the Sacramento River during the summer
I don’t think they are moving to Vegas, they will be staying in Sacramento, in a new stadium five or six years from now.
I was hoping the same thing. Although we'll get lots of unintentional comedy in the meantime from the long-distance "experts" predicting that the Las Vegas stadium will fall through.
I don’t think the capacity is a problem. Oakland couldn’t even draw enough people to fill this stadium. It’s actually a really good thing because now it won’t look like 5 people are at the game, it will actually look pretty filled in
Excellent vid 🏟️
Thank you!
A’s are cheap… but imagine trying to sign a player that will have to play 82 games in a minor league park.
Yeah, gonna be really tough. Though the A's don't often go after big names.
I'm disappointed they didn't choose salt lake because salt lake is building a brand new stadium for the bees and they were going to give the As the new daybreak ball park .and the bees were going to continue to play at Smith's ball park so no one would have to stadium share.
Maybe it was just too far away? Going to Sac allowed them to keep their TV deals.
Merlino's r great! The stadium is great though small. games often sell out or are near it. Confession stands are plentiful and great. All the place needs is more capacity. Like 20k + more. It also draws from a very large area.
Well said!
Confession stands!? Is it a catholic ballpark? 🤣🤣🤣
$50 for a minor league game is a bad joke.
Plus $15 for parking. Probably wouldn't buy that ticket again.
Tickets for any Rivercats game is NOT $50. Don't listen to this fools comments on ticket prices.
The best seats, right next to the dugout on the net are just over $50. This is not a bad stadium at all,
@@golferguy916 Pretty shocking to be honest. The most expensive Minor LB ticket near me is $15 and $5 parking.
@@golferguy916 Bro they are not $50. They are $38.
Look at the fans in the stands at 4:52 of the video, on a best promotion as the commentator stated. LOOKS like the attendance in the Oakland Coliseum.
Yeah it was empty. You really felt it after the school kids left in the 5th/6th inning. Staff told me it fills up a bit more on the weekends.
@@AdamDoesNotExist it does. FRIDAY AND Saturday night are bigger draws, because of fireworks. The Rivercats have had trouble coming back from the pandemic.
This is crazy I am a mariners fan and I always go to games and the whole tunnel with all the foods and shops it is crazy there is a ton of fans and i feel like I am getting squashed and when I see this video in the A’s the tunnel is not crowded at all
Some places early in the game are really crowded, but it sure does tend to thin out.
Honestly great video I def gotta snag a Oakland jersey before they leave
Thank you! I've been trying to get a jersey but they haven't restocked my size in like 3 years lol.
@@AdamDoesNotExist mlb shop has a good variety
Great video
Thanks!
Dude, it never got in the 90's in April in Sac. It does get much hotter here than the bay, and we have had some 90 degree days here in May. But no day in April got over 84 degrees in Sac this year. Probably just felt like it compared to Oakland.
Those Sacramento summers will definitely acclimate the A’s to playing in Vegas. Although the humidity is much higher in Sacramento. Not saying it’s humid at all but compared to Vegas it feels like Hawaii.
One difference is that you can walk, or park your car, or take the bus/light rail from Sacramento to West Sac, and not get bipped, assaulted, and robbed.
Can you say that about walking from Downtown Oakland or along Hegenberger Road?
I live in downtown Oakland and take Bart. And I did an entire video on Hegenberger Road. So I guess you can.
@@AdamDoesNotExist You can, doesn’t mean everyone is else can. You are young and a risk taker. And that’s Fine. But People with families and especially young children may not be. And that’s why families that can, and want a better and safer life, are leaving Oakland. There is a reason why Denny’s, Starbucks, Black Bear Diner, and even In and Out, have all closed nearby.
Awesome video
Thank you!
I used to go to River cats games on Friday nights when I lived in Davis. It was a better experience than going to an Oakland game.
4:57 oh hey look, there I am in the bg right by the beer garten
Amazing!
@@AdamDoesNotExist yeah, and dont worry about the seat shifting, no one cares i got a 10 dollar general admin ticket and went to my usual spot. there are alot of regulars you passed by that do the same.
@@xaviersaavedra7442 good to know!
The coliseum and Sutter Health park have almost the same dimensions.
Sure do! Except for foul territory.
Im making a road trip to see a game, probably against the Yankees to see Judge ❤
Should be a fun one!
I've enjoyed this stadium for years, and I've also enjoyed the coliseum for years. You gave a pretty fair review, and I really agree with the "Can the A's sustain attendance even here?" question at the end. Ultimately, I think they can't, and I think this will once again shut down Sacramento's attempts to bring MLB to the region for years to come.
It will certainly be interesting to watch. But my guess is John Fisher in Sac will be the same as John Fisher in Oakland.
Fun video, Adam. It is a nice ballpark. I still can't support Fisher when they get here until I know Vegas is a moot point, and Sacramento gets the permanent call, but even then, I will be hesitant until he sells. Tomorrow, the 27th, the SELL protests will be taking place. Naturally, we will be in the city this weekend, so, I can't attend.
Thank you! I heard about the SELL protest the night I got back from this game! Probably would have made for a more interesting experience.
I absolutely LOVE THIS VIDEO. Although I'm a little biased. I work for a company that provides the staff with access to "The Special Area" (on occasion) and "The Patriot of Fun" is A VERY FUN and cool guy" and happens to be MY HUSBAND!! Lol. I'm looking forward to watching the A's play. I watched them with my Grandfather many decades ago. Although I haven't seen them for a very long time, we will see many games in Sac if the tickets stay reasonable.
No way. That's incredible! I always love when people wear A's and Giants gear at the same time. And It looked like he was having a blast. We should all aspire to be your husband.
To have chance to see Shohei or other MLB stars so up-close & intimate will be fantastic. Sactown has been a great minor league town - hot days, warm / cool nights - MLB games there will be fine. $50 for, what effectively is court side or 50 yard line major league sports seat, without the buzz of a billion $ stadium, ain't bad.
Yeah, it's a lot to pay for a minor league game, but not bad at all considering the seat! I'm sure prices will go up next season though!
@@AdamDoesNotExist Yeah likely prices will increase for MLB games - still great chance to get up close in an intimate environment compared to big league ballparks.
this is why the MLB needs a hard salary cap and floor.
That way teams like that yankees and dodgers can't just buy every player that's available, and teams like Oakland can't have the payroll less that Ohtani's single year salary...
Especially if you're going to get profit sharing!
I have a bunch of old rivercats merch. Too bad they havent changed their logo!
Hahaha. They might have to if the get pushed out of the stadium
I live 15 miles from Oakland. And I'll drive to Sac to see the A's before I go to another game in Oakland. But then, I never go to Oakland for any reason.
When was the last time the As had 14000 people per game
This is the perfect stadium for them
Not since I've lived here. But I guess they haven't really been trying to win since I lived here.
If there will be an issue it will be with parking and getting and out of the area. There is only one freeway and one off ramp that services the park.
As a lifelong A's fan AND a Sac resident, I am conflicted. I would love that turd owner to sell and keep the team in Oaktown, but if they have to move, then I would love it to be here. Even if it is just for the 3 years, I will be there every chance I get. LV will be a disaster, as the Raiders have shown, with every home game having more visiting fans than home fans. Keep the team in Nor-Cal. Go A's!
I think a lot of people feel the same way you do
He mentioned Judge because he is from Sacramento.
He could have lived in the stadium itself, still not cool to root for other teams
Can't wait to visit when the Mariners are in town.
Great place to see a game.
Brings me flashbacks to where Fernando Tatís Jr. played at that stadium last year during his rehab and his PED suspension with the El Paso Chihuahuas hitting bombs at that stadium. Even the Sacramento River Cats pitcher accused him for cheating after giving up a home run 😂😂😂
LOL. John Fisher is right about that. It's going to be interesting to see MLB games in this place.
Ive been to a handful of games here and the power always went out. Most recently seen the Savannah Bananas there and the power went out. It is also really easy to sneak into games here.
Glad I caught a day game!
Having the other team play at the coliseum is actually pretty cool.
I'd go to a game or two!
I live about 10 minutes away from here..Its gonna be cool to watch MLB teams so close to me
Absolutely! Have fun!
Capacity doesn’t mean much since they draw so little in Oakland. As long as the dimensions are MLB level it has to be an improvement.
LOOK AT ALL THOSE GREAT FANS!!
Dude, I love Sutter health park
So do I
I’m going to make sure we sell it out every game💯
That's a big assignment! Good luck!
Why give that evil POS Fisher your money?
Best part is not having to go to Oakland to see the A's
Funny last line😂
Thanks!
Nice hit piece! It will still pull more fans than the coliseum, yall sleeping on Sac!
as a sacramentan, river cats games are a great time, def not a mlb stadium, but like you said the foot is good, the atmosphere is good, its a fun time. Worried about the A's moving in and messing it all up tbh. Also the river cats were the A's triple A team during the 2000s
I really hope they don't. Vibes at the stadium were exactly what they should be. It would be a shame if that changes.
If the river cats are SF’s AAA team and stadium, why not the A’s just played in aviator’s stadium??
If they are planning to move to Vegas that could be a better option to make the city and team get closer
I could be wrong, but I think keeping their media deals in place was a big reason for staying somewhat close to Oakland. If they had moved to Vegas, all of those would have gone away.
I have the same question, really, and it makes me think the A's aren't 100% committed to Vegas. If they were, why not even consider moving to LV, displacing the Aviators, and initiating a media deal in Southern NV. Maybe they are hearing no interest from the local media, and couldn't work out a deal with their minor league affiliate operator to share the Aviators stadium.
Because the chances of the A’s actually moving to Vegas are extremely slim. If they move there before a stadium is built, they’re going to get stranded out there with no stadium. They have a higher chance of moving to Sacramento permanently or moving back to Oakland than they do of actually moving to Vegas
@@AdamDoesNotExist Nailed it. The A's and Aviators reached an agreement as soon as the relocation was announced which would have allowed the A's to play in Las Vegas Ballpark, but the loss of TV money was a deal breaker.
Even with the smaller stadium the A's still won't sell out
As much as this seems like a downer because of the terrible A's management, this looks like it would actually be really fun to go see a major league game at. Like I hate how the owner sells it as "intimate", but that honestly might be the saving grace.
Kind of like a field of dreams/spring training vibe. As a Yankees fan, I actually would like to see Aaron Judge blast some homers out of the place.
Kind of like a field of dreams/spring training vibe. As a Yankees fan, I actually would like to see Aaron Judge blast some homers out of the place.
So obviously the big clubs like the Yankees and Red Sox will be playing there. It's gonna feel like spring training.
Yes ii sure is!
Minor league baseball is awesome. no stakes. just go on the promo nights, scarf down some better than expected food, cheap beer, shoot the shit with some friends and be on your way
Every team the A's play, the other teams fans will want to go. Why not? It's so small. All seats will be great. I would mind sitting in the grass watching the Dodgers play the A's. It is very intimate and should be cost efficient. Like baseball in the 20's.
I’ve been to that exact game you were at
Nice! Not a great baseball game, but I had a good time.
Need bleachers in at least the right field grass area. Get capacity closer to 20k. Tough tickets to get with half of SAC area already A's fans.
I had no clue they moved the A's to a minor league park, that isn't right.
However, I love minor league ball and I love junior hockey. We have a junior hockey team in my city and the entire city gets behind these guys when they play. The team, stadium, and concessions are all pretty well run so the experience is great. The major NHL team nearby I am still a fan of but I have season tickets to my local junior team.
I grew up watching New York Penn League games. Those were the best!
Oakland coliseum is in such a good area.. Sad to see them lose 3 teams.
So easy to get to games. Sad indeed
This is gonna be an amazing for the A’s
Let's hope so!
Bro I'm from Sacramento. West Sacramento is Sacramento, that just sounded stupid
Sorry
This is the stupidest switch ever the A's need to stay in oakland like how dumb can they even get...
Don’t stop making baseball videos!
Hope MLB The Show 24 adds the park in an update.
Given the predicament that ownership has put the A's franchise in, until Vegas is ready the choice is either playing in an empty Coliseum or sparsely seated minor league venue. Sad to say that probably the better option and optic of the two is Sacramento.
Feels like they just had to get out of Oakland ASAP. The longer they linger with open questions, the worse they look.
I thought the River Cats got good attendance, this should have been a prime game since they were playing Las Vegas, I guess because it was a Tuesday Afternoon. $50 for a seat to a Minor League game was crazy.
I regret the $50 ticket!
With this ownership, a minor league ballpark is where the A's belong....Its my wish and hope to watch the A's move to Vegas and flop worse than they have for the past 10 yrs...With all the money in baseball and to see what this ownership has done to maximize that leaves one hoping just what i said and what this organization as it stands would deserve....They have fielded a minor league team for yrs then want to complain they cant put people in the stands or are not playing in a shinny new ball park...They make it easy to root they fail....
I've heard that the stadium is threatening to leave if Oakland doesn't build a better team.
Sac sucks, but I'd still rather go there than Oakland
Baseball in the Coliseum is done. Soccer will be playing at the Coliseum next year.
