2017-2020 Honda CRV Rear Bumper Removal (5th Generation CRV)

I am transitioning to more vlog-type videos instead of how-to videos, so this video is longer than a traditional how-to. Two differences I noticed is that:
A) I don't have clips holding my lower valence to the car (but I've never had any problems without them/missing from the factory).
B) The reference video does not have mudflaps that cover the screw holding the bumper to the fender liner at the bottom.

It's called a torx bit. And that stuff on that screw you pulled out of the trunk, was Grease so that when you try to pull it off in 20 years, it comes off. And don't worry about the Celsius to Fahrenheit translation I couldn't do it the other way to save my life either.

is the plastic on the lower half of the bumper(the gray and black plastic trim) removable?

Yup, theyre removable and easy too once you have the rear bumper off

@@AnthonyMo Do you know if it’s interchangeable with the valance from the touring trim with the exhaust cutouts? I noticed in your later videos you have the one with the cutouts and wasn’t sure if it was the same thing.

@@rajivsingh4213 Yup it is interchangable! I swapped mine from the non cutout and got exhaust tips welded at a local shop
