I love them all. However, I prefer Whitney as she has the most powerful vocals of the three. Her belting makes my hair stand on end. Mariah is the best artist of the three by far. She is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Celine is a showstopper who can entertain for hours. She is the most compelling to watch live.
I like Celine's belts captivating. Whitney's head voice. Mariah's lower register and versatility. Mariah is a really good subtle singer. Love how Whitney delivers a live performance. I cant pick a favourite. They all have different qualities. Respect them all.

I agree with almost everything you said! They're all equals with different strengths and weaknesses. My favorite will always be Mariah just because she is the most creative and fascinating - she uses every bit of her range to its maximum limits, and does so in a very colorful and pleasant way. Listening to her studio recordings, even now, she has the most intricate and fascinating use of her voice, even if that means it does not always work as well in a live setting.

I just love Mariah, she is constantly on my Spotify in almost every single playlist. I love that she writes, produces and sings some of the most catchy dance beats and deep soulfully haunting love song and balad melodies. The other two are just singers with good voices and technique. I also love listening to Mariah’s live performances on TH-cam, really the most beautiful rich and buttery tone I’ve ever heard and her improvisations and her character and her runs are far superior. For me, Celine gets a little screechy and nasally. Whitney is soulful but she cuts off a little too much when singing live. The only thing about Mariah is that I wish she had rested her beautiful voice and not tried to push it too far. Her range and agility is just unmatched and incredible.
And she writes her songs. Whitney was almost bankrupt before she died because she didn’t right her songs, especially the famous ones. Dolly Parton once said she was able to buy a house just by Whitney covering IWALY

Whitney's tone is absolutely exquisite all the way through her low register, chest/belting and head voice. IMO, that makes her the standout performer, as she has the best vocal instrument. Her live performances, especially in her prime, were mind-blowing.

Lemme praise mariah. Bcs as far as I know, she had short formal training yet she is able to carry out basic technique in singing, such as breath support, projection and vocal agility.

Mariah never had proper vocal training that's why her voice had issues early into her career she never knew how to use her voice properly . Whitney grew up in choir so that's why she's the best at belting. Celine technically had the most training but she wasn't to be messed with she really gave Mariah and whitney a run for their money
I love them, vocally speaking they are the most popular and best vocalist of all time. Mariah is my favorite cuz she is more involved into her music and also I like how versatile her voice can be.
I love all three but whitney by far is and will always be the best all three of them are so talented and in there own lanes so you really can't compare them each one is different and each tone is different and each techniques are different.
Whitney is called the voice for a reason. Her transitions are flawless and beautiful and her riffs, runs and belts always blend perfectly with whatever song she sings. Her ability to go head voice, chest voice and bravado whole being perfectly pitched is 2nd to none and she sings with effortless power. And although I do love both Mariah and Celine my beef with Mariah is during live performances she tends to add unnecessary riffs and runs to try to show everyone I can sing instead of letting it come naturally to flow with the song. Not hating just my opinion as I love her music but Whitney is my no 1.
I believe that growing up speaking French, a language that naturally resonates in the lower register, explains Celine’s agility and support when singing in that register. I’m from a Latin country and been studying singing for years now and there’s this common belief that “every Latina is a mezzo until proven otherwise” because our speaking voice naturally resonates in the lower register - it’s a quality provided in all Romance languages.
There is no best. They are all amazing for different reasons. Art should not be judged and measured in a general sense. Beauty is in the EAR of the beholder.

Celine is a rare breed where she can live in the world of soulful powerhouses like Whitney, Mariah and Aretha but also crystal clear, pure vocalists like Karen Carpenter, Eva Cassidy and Julie Andrews. Her versatility is unparalleled even if she doesn't have Whitney's power or Mariah's falsetto range.
I still think that Mariah can support a G5. She has very few clips of hitting those notes, but the fact that they don't sound bad to me means it was not by any means caused by luck. She knows how to support it. Lower range, Mariah still wins for me, though Celine is also good. For HV, Whitney takes the crown, no discussions needed. Agility, transition, and musicianship, I still prefer Mariah. Dynamics, I guess Whitney takes the crown. All in all, I think Mariah is the most well-rounded among all of them, but I love these queens with all my heart.
I disagree with some especially in lows Mariah doesn't have much fullness that Celine has + Mariah is more airy. Celine is definitely the most well rounded she has dynamic, lows, belt head voice agility, breath support, but Whitney is the best one in trinity

Mariah by a mile! She isn't just about power, she has whistle notes (for days!), background vocals (layered, mind you!), melismata, whispered vocals, and a greater degree of subtlety and nuance. Plus the songwriting and producing, on top of all that!
The upper tracks of witney sound super strident and tight, Maria sounds super natural organic comfortable not at all shrill and in a super beautiful tone even on a G5 so yes Mariah is the best in the belting.

Whitney by far...she was more versatile and could sing everything from Pop to Opera...Gershwin to RnB. All the legends of yesterday Aretha, Gladys, Shirley, Dionne, Luther, Stevie will all tell you the same. Mariah and Celine can go up and down and warble and run all over the place in a poppy camp kinda way were as Whitney sang what the song required to get the meaning over. Whitney could elevate lyric and melody and tell a story through song like no other. Mariah and Celine are talented pop stars followed by the likes of Christina and Arianna...nobody can or will follow in Whitney footsteps she was a artist. Commercially pop, Mariah (more common genre) may have more sales but Pop has always out sold other genres as it has a more broad range of listeners as far as demographics but Whitney vocally was better...more heart and soul. They're the greatest of all time!!! True gifted vocalist and still the best til this day. Even the best vocalist today can't compare. The quality isn't there or tone. Even if there is singers out today that may do similar achievements with their voice it is something so special and extraordinary of the vocal trinity. I think they are truly gifted but Tamar Braxton said it best, Mariah is the voice of the voices. Mariah truly is the greatest of all time. The quality and agility is unparalleled. I just love Mariah, she is constantly on my Spotify in almost every single playlist. I love that she writes, produces and sings some of the most catchy dance beats and deep soulfully haunting love song and balad melodies. The other two are just singers with good voices and technique. I also love listening to Mariah’s live performances on TH-cam, really the most beautiful rich and buttery tone I’ve ever heard and her improvisations and her character and her runs are far superior. For me, Celine gets a little screechy and nasally. Whitney is soulful but she cuts off a little too much when singing live. The only thing about Mariah is that I wish she had rested her beautiful voice and not tried to push it too far. Her range and agility is just unmatched and incredible.

Lemme praise mariah. Bcs as far as I know, she had short formal training yet she is able to carry out basic technique in singing, such as breath support, projection and vocal agility.

Whitney is called the voice for a reason. Her transitions are flawless and beautiful and her riffs, runs and belts always blend perfectly with whatever song she sings. Her ability to go head voice, chest voice and bravado whole being perfectly pitched is 2nd to none and she sings with effortless power. And although I do love both Mariah and Celine my beef with Mariah is during live performances she tends to add unnecessary riffs and runs to try to show everyone I can sing instead of letting it come naturally to flow with the song. Not hating just my opinion as I love her music but Whitney is my no 1.

I still think that Mariah can support a G5. She has very few clips of hitting those notes, but the fact that they don't sound bad to me means it was not by any means caused by luck. She knows how to support it. Lower range, Mariah still wins for me, though Celine is also good. For HV, Whitney takes the crown, no discussions needed. Agility, transition, and musicianship, I still prefer Mariah. Dynamics, I guess Whitney takes the crown. All in all, I think Mariah is the most well-rounded among all of them, but I love these queens with all my heart.

It was gonna be a toss up between Mariah and Celine but Mariah is stronger lower and without the nasality which can make the sound seem more focused but it's just more forward. Try it folks (sing a low note, with and without nasality).
For belts, it was gonna be Whitney completely for the win but the jaw vibrato and neck tension is a cause for concern. Sounds epic but not as sustainable. She's still in the lead mainly because of her consistency which comes from the natural quality and condition of her voice before the damage. When she got nodules/vocal damage, you can see her using the same technique but the sound is very strained.
For head voice, Celine is well developed and it flows like water but Whitney's is rounder, fuller and has more of a ping to it.

They're the greatest of all time!!! True gifted vocalist and still the best til this day. Even the best vocalist today can't compare. The quality isn't there or tone. Even if there is singers out today that may do similar achievements with their voice it is something so special and extraordinary of the vocal trinity. I think they are truly gifted but Tamar Braxton said it best, Mariah is the voice of the voices. Mariah truly is the greatest of all time. The quality and agility is unparalleled. On top of that her musicianship is insane a musical genius. It's like she is music itself. Regardless they're all truly god given talented vocalists who go toe to toe in many areas. The best of all the generations.
