Any idea if the battery is bypassed entirely in wired mode. I don't really care about wireless connection or RGB, but this is one of the few options in a reasonable price-range that I'm willing to try as my first mechanical keyboard. I'm just wondering whether the keyboard will just work as intended if the battery dies or if I decide to take it out.
Trying to connect my newly bought Thock 75 red via bluetooth and the pairing blinks go off after few and laptop does not show new device detected. whereas, my roccat kone air pro mouse was detected and connected and the 2.4 ghz gets connected to PC and with one flip of switch it gets connected to laptop easily.
A late comment but yes it's modable. I disassemble the whole thing , hotswaped to akko switches and did electric tape mod on bottom pcb+ fu foam on top . I would say it's pretty nice aside 2 obvious issues : light plastic case which doesn't deliver the same hefty feeling as metal , not so bright rgb(30% less than a mainstream gamer ones) so i am goingto resolder new leds . boards like Akko 5075b+ are better choice for a little more money without the need of modding.
@@vinhpeo6902 hmm i could not remove the side button that switches the wireless/wired/off mode so i can do the tape mod I was scared to brake it how did u remove it?
@@Jorozzzzz Just coincidentally stumble upon this video again and see your reply, in case you still have the keyboard :D . Yes ! * Only proceed after checking the structure ! quite easy if you see it. After uncrewing the metal plate you can just slide" up" the side ruber pice(wireless on/off) and it can torate some reasonable force . just be careful when siding out the on/off notch from the frame and the pcb as it can break(it's holding by a notch in plastic slot), wiggle you way out is the best method for fragile components . I warped 6 layers aluminum foil for the case then paint the metal plate with gold acrylic paint + 3-4 clear coat layers. * Prime the surface first for better paint contact ! As for modding tape in my opinion , i recommend putting on bottom of pcb atleast 3 layers electric tape then add 3 layers of packing tape (*better noise dampening than electric tape according to a youtuber) , add 3 layers of electric tape on the inner surface of the case to further enhance the effects(also can protect against electrical mishaps that can damage the batery (*battery already has its own shied though ! ). i would recommend to swap out the default swich to akko or gateron swiches : akko lavender for strong tactile , akko silver for fast linear feedback , gateron yellow also very smooth linear experience. Lube them if you dont like the factory lubing ,use Krytox 205 or ones from glorious or keychron (i don't any noticeable differences, the amount matters more) Didn't resolder new leds as it's too time consuming , also my skill issue :D I learned these from reddit and youtube , though for the money you can buy: An ok-good keyboard from rolyal kluge or a great plastic keyboard epomaker or womier that has better buid quality & software (even support QMK/ VIA) . I had moved on from endorfy tkl to an aluminum keyboard like epomaker tide 75 with just 120 eur + free shiping , a very positive experience(without moding ) from typical good plastic keyboard . Have a great day !
@@vinhpeo6902 Thanks man, I will try it. About the metal case keyboards I have wondered much if I should get one but I am using them for gaming and most of them are pretty tall so not sure if it will be comfortable for long gaming. Also I got that Endorfy because I needed something full size and wireless also and for that prize they are kinda the best choice.
EDIT: fixed it just had to read the instruction and had to press Fn+4 ayo i bought the 75 wireless and i am confused, first the spacebar has a red glow and im to dumb to conect it with the dongle only with the usbc cable can anyone help me?? This is the only usefull review i saw plssss
i got the endorfy TKL wireless with red glow on left side of spacebar , 1 piece of black tape fixed that ennoying red glow . Everything is good so far , i might try to replace the default kalith brown with akko ones .
It's an onomatopoeia of how a proper keyboard should sound: Low frequency, solid, and impactful. That said, these keyboards do NOT thock, in my opinion. They clack.

quite an understated keyboard, which I like - sometimes companies can get carried away with screens, and glowing buttons everywhere.
Big thank you for the, sound test of the keys 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Brilliant pronunciation of Thock could so easily be something else :)
look like decent boards at a reasonable price - although i just got an Everest 60 and wow the switches are amazing

Any update about the battery life? What about the warranty?
I got one of these and I am very satisfied with it!

Hey I just ordered this keyboard. Is there a specific type of keycaps I have to use?
I have heard of thock, but to hear it said multiple times, I feel very trendy xD
Is the RGB bright? It looks dark in the video?
Ugh. These things are misnamed. A "Thock" is supposed to be a low pitched noise. These sound a hell of a lot more like a "Ping".
Looks and sounds like a red dragon with a AL faceplate
Yep, sound horrible, sharp and clicky to me.
Does anyone know if the keyboard can be easily opened if you want to do some slight modding?

Well even if the keyboard doesnt sell well, i'll always have the memories and laughs

Maybe ill try Thock lmao
Thockin hell!
maybe im stupid, whats the significance of the 'THOCK' thing?
It sounds nice. I suppose the opposite is tinny sounding.
It's considered a desirable sound that a quality keyboard makes while typing

Yes they should include a clicky switch option.
That's clack at best not thock 😂
