Thanks again to Dean at www.valomechanical.ca for dropping off the air handler. Made about $100 just in the fins!
My red wigglers would love that cardboard.
Hey Nas, cool video thanks! Yes, 160 for shred here and 270 steel today. Great score on the Air handler from your buddies /cheers
BONGO!! I miss your channel the most!!! You're such a chill guy with an open mind about junk! Would love to see you post another! Take care!!
@@Nas_Atlas Thanks Nas:) That free tin pile is a great idea for bits and pieces folks might need. My gopro has some issues now, it wont work off batteries but will of a big power bank. I'll see about getting a new battery and that might do the trick. /cheers
@@scrapbongo786 I modelled my channel name after you and took some inspiration from your approach. Tip of the hat to you sir!
@Nas_Atlas too kind :) if I get the go pro working I'll put up and update video and shout out your channel
Wow that was quite a party going on in the driveway ! I will save the transformer cores for you, might get prepared for them ?
I'm still unsure of what exactly constitutes "prep" here. I've been told less than 4 feet and thicker than 1/8" but not cut up bed frames for some reason. My pile is starting with things I'm 100% certain on and after I take my first load in I'm going to start seeing what else is acceptable. For example some car parts like mufflers seem to be ok even though none of the steel is 1/8" thick! Hmm... Scrapping is peculiar business that's why I like it.
If you want to drop off after a flea market day I can promise you at least two axe heads which is what my current stash is! Only if it's entertaining for you! Take care!
@@Nas_Atlas Thanks buddy, I will get on it !
Wow, you are way less for shred than we are up here. Or at least what we were. I haven't checked this week. We were $115/ton last week.
Ya we get nothing for shred but pretty good for everything else. The advantage though is I can visit the shred dump spot on the weekends and get bits and pieces for projects I'm working on. If shred was high people wouldn't dump.
What are you getting for prep steel up there? (HMS)
@@Nas_Atlas I believe it is $175
Mike's a little high strung. lol
I'm also a bit high strung. I appreciate him.
@@Nas_Atlas Yeah, I think I'd like to have someone like him around. Not everyone can handle loud people, but it always gives me the opportunity to be loud too.
