I only just stumbled upon this channel tonight and I watched all three of the Joe Bonamassa interviews. Kylie is a fantastic interviewer. She really listens and comes up with some very smart questions. If more interviewers were like her we'd be far more informed
Thanks Kylie, great job. Joe is such a humble guy, lot of time for that quality in anybody. Thanks to you both, hello from Sydney, Australia You obviously have feelings for Joe, why don't you make it known? I'm sure Joe would be more than thrilled as you would make a wonderful couple. All the very best,
@@KylieOlsson I totally agree with you, it sounds unique from him, and hugged by the Abbey Road studios sound, makes it great, thank you for replying, 😊🎸🍊
Thanks so much for this brilliant interview Kylie. Great that Joe opened up too, it was obviously a very hard time for him and methinks a cathartic experience to put so much of himself into this album. A brave thing to do, but cathartic. We have all been there, and it hurts like hell, but having a release through music is a great way to heal. Self inflicted wounds is a beautiful song too. A great interview, thank you, and thanks to Joe to helping us to understand him more.
While music players and music lovers have been devastated and deprived by Covid, it has led to new interactions between artists and fans. I’ve been invited in to my heroes homes, immortalized in face and name at the Ryman concert, went to a drive in music movie and listened to numerous stories about the how and why music is created. Love Joe’s interviews sharing stories with his heroes and friends like bros reminiscing over a beer and your interviews have been a delight of candor and casual conversation. Feels like I’m on a double date. I’m going to catch up on your other interviews as well.
I love that you are looking at the positives of whats going on right now! And thats just the vibe I want from these interviews so it makes me happy thats how you feel about them.
I'm so glad that I discovered you and your channel kylie. I am now a loyal fan and subscriber! I'm going to watch everything that you put out there. As a lifelong musician and guitar addict your content is the most inspirational and refreshing stuff I've ever experienced on TH-cam! Many thanks and BLESSINGS to you from an American blues enthusiast. I'm certain that you are going to have quite the following. THANK you again for your amazing personality and for what you're doing. Sincerely Michael D.
Ah Mike that is sooo lovely to hear! As a lover of music and guitars I really wanted to put something together for us all to enjoy during this terrible year we've all had so it really warms my heart to know that people are enjoying what I'm creating. Thank you x
Hard to pick a "favorite" song. I have "favorites off of each album, and, I have them on my playlist. Need to add a couple from this new one now. Loved the interview. Learned a lot more about Joe and what makes him wake up each morning.
Thank you so much for this fantastic interview. I didn't know that JB is full of irony. I can imagine that it was not easy to talk with him about so many personal things. Many greetings from Germany. :-)
I think "This Train" is a great song. Also, I had the pleasure of listening to Joe's and Bruce's new albums in one sitting...talk about an embarrassment of riches! (and the drum sounds on both albums are incredible)
of course joe had never heard of or seen alice in chains live... of course he would rip of there composition styles lol... always thought joe was that nerdy kid that annoyed me in the guitar world.. not what he plays its how he presents himself thats my issue. he is claiming to be a blues god and thats all self proclaimed no title or award gave him this title.
Just finished watching all three parts. Great interview Kylie!
HURRAH. SO PLEASED YOU ENJOYED THEM... THANKS FOR WATCHING!!
A lot of bands from the 80s wrote songs about things that had things happen to them, they were so much better than some of today's music.

Think its great Joe is wearing same sweater in interview that he wore in the recording video of the song Kylie likes.
All the songs are SUPERB!

Idk anything about Bonamassa. Comes across in this as really strange/quirky
He is extremely quirky... in a great way!
