Yup, dat goes on next week's menu! Dave, I gotta tell you something. I an soooo grateful that you're not a food snob. The ingredients are easy to find & inexpensive. Thanks for being so darned normal.
I’ve never understood why anyone would buy the boxed stuff, when it’s so easy to make from scratch. Of course, it’s all about the seasoning - my mother used to use homemade spaghetti sauce, but your seasonings sound so much better. The other thing I love about your recipes, I don’t have to run to the store for anything - I have everything you used, which makes it so much easier! You forgot just one thing - a hunk of fresh, buttered baguette to sop up the sauce! 😂
You are so down to earth Dave and I love your recipes! TY. I’m not gonna lie,I don’t make everyone of your delicious looking recipes BUT I do listen to your narration on EVERY SINGLE ONE, I don’t know what it is (I’m sure I’m not the only one) about your voice but I enjoy listening to you, lol. Take Care & God Bless 😊
My favorite Hamburger Helper was always the cheeseburger Hamburger Helper. I think I still like it to this day, though I've not had it in a while. Of course second on the list was the stroganoff. That one was so delicious as well. Could have salad with it and you got a meal.
Our household prefer the original box hamburger helper from the store and it’s the chili macaroni you show here since ever since way back we wouldn’t want to butcher our favorite it’s perfect add a tblspoon of ketchup while cooking🙏🏽🇬🇺
Just tried it, not use the the barbecue flavor from the smoked paprika and brown sugar but I like it, it’s different and I would make it again. My family loves it!👍
Dave , ery nice recipe & looks delicious , yes much better than the box product , & yes on us & the girls will say yes because my wife makes almost the exact same recipe, & with velveeta cheese. sometimes she adds a can of diced tomatoes & it is good. I wouldn't change a thing on this recipe , & btw we do keep 1 or 2 of the box products in the pantry if we are in a pinch for time. We like small curd whole cottage cheese in a small bowl as a side with fresh cracked black pepper on it. keep your stick on the ice pal
Hey Steve. Thanks my friend. It was so good and simple. Love the idea of Velvetta cheese. It's really expensive here. What about there? Great idea about keeping it in the pantry. Same here. Great idea for a side dish too. Thanks so much for the great tips, Steve. See you at the next meeting. HONK HONK. Whatever that means. LOL.
@TheCooknShare lol on the honk honk, Dave , velveeta here is $ 5.99 for a 2 pound block in a a box , I don't think that's to bad, glad you liked the sides, see you at the lodge pal
@@TheCooknShare very well, that is expensive , that costs the same as a good 100% American cheese here , we like land o lakes brand American cheese , yes lodge going on strike for price of velveeta , lol
Your hamburger helper recipe is so reasonably priced, I’d say almost as cheap as it is in the box itself! ❤️ Looks really yummy 😋 Dave! Gotta love me some, Hamburger Helper! EDIT:

Not something we had in the UK 🇬🇧 Dave, but I’m going to give it a go 😋. Many thanks, as always; take care 😃👍
Really. Yeah, I guess it's a North American thing. You're so welcome and hope you give it a try.

Thanks so kind of you. Thanks so much. Hope you keep watching and listening. Blessings.
Great idea making up the seasonings in advance and storing them in the pantry. I'm all in!
Thanks so much. Hope you try it and enjoy.
Your recipes are so amazing I would love to see you make spring rolls & sushi in separate videos
Thanks so much. We do have some recipes like that.
I'm going to mix all the seasonings in a big jar and use it whenever I want to make your hamburger helper. Mmmm mmmm mmmm.
Fantastic idea. Thanks and hope you enjoy.

Yeah, I remember that. It was so good. Both of them. Memories. Love the idea of a salad too. Nice dinner roll on the side. Yum.
This looks good! And probably better than the boxed kind! I am going to try this, thanks for sharing!
It is really. Way better than the boxed. Hope you try it and enjoy.
I love homemade hamburger helper..so much better than the boxed stuff 😉. Tyfs God bless you
So true. Much better made at home. Box stuff works in a pinch.
You don’t need a dedicated “breaker-upper thingy”; a wavy wire potato masher works just as well if not better.
True. Sometimes I use my nonstick pan and don't want to scratch it. But good idea.
Made this for dinner tonight, very very good❤
Glad you liked it!! Keep cooking and watching.
Wow looks so delicious 😋🤤
It really is so good. Hope you give it a try.

❤❤❤
Thank you❤✅Yum!
You're welcome 😊
Is hamburger helper just man and cheese with mince
Definitely gonna make this minus the used raw meat spoon on the cooked food!
Hope you enjoy. Let me know.
Hamburger helper came out in 1971 but has a teenager my mom never bought it.
Oh really. I grew up on it.
Most of us ate it, especially if our mothers worked. 🙄
So true and we all loved it. At least I did.
Does this taste EXACTLY like hamburger helper?
It's very close. At least in my opinion.
In the video you said smoked paprika and in the printable recipe you said just paprika which one
Smoked is better but plain is fine. Hope this helps
Is it just me or do you sound different? Lol. 🤨
In what way? Better or worse?
Never ate Hamburger Helper not once in my life, but if you say it's good then I'm in Dave.
It is really so good. Hope you give it a try. Let us know.
