I grew up listening to Charlie Pride on 8 tracks in my stepdad's Delta 88. Him and my mom would sing country and western driving down the highway. Sad to hear Mr. Pride has passed away.
Hello friend, how are you doing today.
I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song ?
This song was my mom song and I do love singing it as well what a great country music. How are you Barbara ?
why do all of the classics still sound better than today's music put out by the new acts?
I think because they are so much better. They are pure, with heart.
vduron1 there forever from the hearts and love and passion
Isotec1 because they could sing and keep a tune.
I meet him in person
because they were real. They weren't produced by some asshole wanting to make money by exploiting a talented musician. What society wants to hear has something to do with it too
RIP Charlie. I saw Marty Stuart in concert about 25 years ago in Glasgow Scotland. Cool to see him again

The legend Charlie Pride ! I grew up listen to his music right there with Willie and Waylon and the boys. As a 30 year vocalist his voice was intoxicating and very easy on the ears. Such a staple and ico in country music 🎵 🎼 RIP ! Charlie Pride.

Amen. As Bush senior once said, let us become "a kinder, gentler" nation united under God. Love builds. Hate destroys. May God keep you and your family safe my fellow American🙏

The sound that Marty's band produces is ALWAYS top notch, and to have the legend Charley Pride belting out this classic is pure Country GOLD...

R.I.P. to the Country Legend Charlie Pride. He was a role model to me growing up as a black male in a racist Miss. and an racist entity that didn't accept black people in white dominated Country Music. Love you forever Charlie, God Bless You brother.
Hello how are you doing..?
Damn COVID took a great musician. RIP Charley Pride
We’ve lost plenty of known and lesser known celebrities to this pandemic.
Comedians, Actors, Playwrights, Singers, Jazz Musicians, Television Producers and the like are falling to this disease.
Unfortunately there’s dozens upon dozens of misinformation about COVID-19.
Oh well, we live in a world where the Media spews out endless information that seem false and misleading.
So true 🤠
Charley may be gone but his Pride will live forever . 60 now been listening to him since day #1 RIP .
