Decades ago long before youtube existed. Every sunday after church i would get so excited cause all my friends and their families would come over our house for a get together lunch and dinner. And the first thing that comes to mind is to immediately put on the brand new dvd movie or tv series that i had baught that week. Theres just that high watching people get excited for the thing that you love. Who knew that it would eventually become a thing on youtube. And grow to love so many great reactors. Great to see so many of my favourite reactors on this zoom call
Would love to see a crossing the streams episode with MCU reactors: mix of people who reacted to it for the first time, people who see them in theaters and people who may do both
The Suraj jumpscare! Except there was no fear. Just excitement and familiarity. Happy to see some of my fav creators discuss one heck of a show. So proud of how far FunnyLilGal has gotten!
Came from Angela's channel! Great conversations!! Now that the show has been released I will say, I liked it. The writing is lacking a bit, but I hope they can tighten things up in the next season. Obviously it was never going to be as good as the OG. No one was hoping for it to even come close. But I do think it will bring more people to the animated show. At least, I hope so. This show has moved me in so many ways. I watched it when it first came out. I was in high school and I still have all the DVDs lol.
Angela from Funnylilgal brought me here! But also I apparently watch almost every creator here... Suraj with the normies, Simon, Sonny I'm like "where'd your other half!". Sean the bear I'm getting more and more used to seeing out of the bar lol. Grizzled Wizard today and not Katarn huh? So cool seeing people connect like this!!
Agree with Angela. The live action is not gonna compare to the show. The show is a masterpiece on every front but as long as it's just good, enjoyable, and doesn't betray the characters and lore, then that will be a success and bring more people into this fandom which is a good thing!
The show has a lot of epic moments, but one of my favorites is in The Southern Raiders. It's when they're out camping, and Zuko makes the joke about "If you really want it to feel like old times, I could chase you around a while and try to capture you." For me, that was a huge moment that showed that Zuko is really comfortable around these people, and is willing to relax enough to joke around. He's still nervous (you can hear him hesitate when he says it, like he's worried how it will be received), but he goes ahead with it, and gets a good response (mostly). It shows that he has REALLY become part of the group. He's one of them. Also, all of Toph's blind jokes. "That's what it will sound like when one of you spots it." *waves hand in front of eyes* xD
This is gold. It is so nice that people are actually relating deeply with this show and dare to share how deeply it touched them. I feel like alot of people keep it surface level and just goes on.
What a great collection of reactors brought together to talk about a truly amazing show. Actually, my first exposure to reacting content was Sean Tanktop and Game of Thrones - so really happy to see him here. Thank you all for this great video and thank you for the content you bring. Shout out to Kyle and Angela - who I am currently following with their journey with Korra.
This was a beautiful conversation/discussion to watch. I've watched most of these reactors. I loved reliving this series with them and watching them fall in love with these characters and world that has been so near and dear to my heart for 19 years. I was initially on board with the live adaption and then outright against it after the creators left. Then I was back on board after the casting and the trailer. I was cautiously optimistic. But then some of the recent interviews/press just soured me again. This honestly just made me open my heart back up to giving the live action adaption a chance.
Yes!! Was excited for this. Almost finishing this video and love hearing everybody’s views and how ATLA connected to them on a person level. Shame that LM reactions couldnt have make it but exams are more important!! But this show is so timeless, the characters, the world building, the music is so so good. Its my favorite show of all time, no questions asked. And ive been connected to so many people who love this show as well with these guys on screen reacting to it, to other TH-camrs like; Hello Future me who’s so brilliant the way he speaks and talks about the World Building to OveranAnalyzing Avatar who shows me things ive never seen or thought about before to countless of others of reactors and bloggers. Its great. Thanks for making this happen! EDIT: Just finished and your suggestion for another Crossing The Stream TV Show, maybe its a unpopular opinion these days but Game Of Thrones would be a good one because of how big it was, how it was talked about. How Great it was early seasons, I believe S4 of GOT is probably peak television or that its top 3. And the downfall of it, and how its now… not even talked about really as it was before, what they did wrong, do maybe some people like the ending of it? I think that would be a interesting episode imo
This is epic! ATLA is my favorite show of all time and I have watched some of your reactions. Reactors like y’all and my love for the show inspired me to start making reactions to the live action. I’m so excited for it to drop and to react to it!
This was an absolute delight to watch, especially as a huge fan of Avatar The Last Airbender myself. Also, it was great to see both Simon and Kyle Katarn here! More of these please! Perhaps you all can discuss together your reactions to the Netflix version once you all have finished watching it.
The great divide is objectively a bad episode. Sokka and Katara both act like brats through the entire episode, and the plot is just bad. It doesn't matter if it's filler or not. Tales of ba sing sa was also a filler episode and is very highly renowned.

For me, Waterbender because I was inspired by Rain from Mortal Kombat.
