@bluntube oh ok :) hmm I have some aftermarket parts installed on my bike... Leo Vince exhaust, 23g Dr Pulley Sliders, K&N air filter, amsoil synthetic oil, 41 PSI on rear tire, 29 PSI on front tire, I use bridgestone tires.. if your tires r so soft and little low on air, it can cause the lower mpg.
@bluntube sounds good! no o-ring hmm I am not sure how bad it is? maybe filter moves around a little without o-ring? if it was not on the old filter, you bought the bike used?
@creamycorn1127 welcome! I have videos how to change the gauges light.... look for burgman 400 instrument cluster dash led replacement videos
@bbarnhill42 Hi Brian! thank you so much for kind words! I am planning to upgrade to a newer camera that have HD and SDHC card, all videos I used was canon GL2... I am tired of using miniDV tapes ha ha.
I own this burgman since June 27,07.. almost three years! Took things off and on many times so I feel really comfortable how to do things on the bike. I never took it to the shop ever.. just me at home. I have a manual book, I learned some hard parts from it and didn't use it again after!
Hi watch quite a few of your clips very great work there!
just have a little question here, am just wondering something here with my burgman 400 08. the "change oil" display came on (i didn't notice since when). but i think it is after the battery went flat sometime ago... would you know if that would cause the "change oil" display on? or i really need to get it to service to change the oil? >_<
i really don't know much about scooters.. hopefully can get some clues here..
@micbergsma
Its on 12xxx now. actually i have just took it to a service yesterday just incase....
and have turned off the "change oil" as guide from your video!! thanks soo much!!!
btw, would you be able to show us how to change the gauges light?
=D
Hi Mic,
Say, why do you suppose you get 71.3 MPH when I can only get about 58.4???? I don't blast it on freeway (too much). I do a 40 mile total commute almost daily. Tire pressure is good and maintenance is up to date.
ah 2012 pearl white burgman is very nice! I think you will be happy with 21g, I would go for 21g
@creamycorn1127
how many miles on your bike right now?
Thanks!
71.3 is not always happening... I always get around 64mpg.. 71.3 was just a lucky one haha :)
thanks a lot for the tip! You solve the problem of my partner's Burgman! :) And the funny thing is that I search a solution on Google, finding you! And I'm following you till 3 months, but not for burgman vids, for GoPro tutorials! :) Thank you again!
Ciao mic e possibile cambiare la luce del contachilometri?
@bluntube you mean MPG, not MPH?
Amazing! :) Glad to help!! Come back!
two from making the video I wasn't aware of how to get rid of the oil change symbol but now I've just done it so big thank you and keep up the great work
@bluntube Yeah, that can't be right with a 400cc. I used to have a Yamaha Riva 180 that the fastest I've been on the expressway was 72 MPH at wide open throttle. After we put a ton of miles on it, the max speed started to get lower. This Burgman is really awesome. I had no idea how modernized this thing is. I WANT ONE!
Hello mitch. Just bought my first burgman. It is a pearl white 2012 burgman 400. I changed my rollers by watching your videos but i have a question. Where can i get those 23g sliders you have in your bike? I can only find 21g
Большое тебе человеческое спасибо из Москвы
Mic thanks!
I'll recheck my tires. I think they were close to pressure you use. Bought Redline Synth Oil--Oh, by the way!!! I don't have that little o-ring that sits behind the oil filter (not to be confused with the one on the back of the cover)--How bad is that?? It wasn't on the old filter . Thanks again for the advice--the aftermarket items you mentioned, I'll look into them too!
Mitch, all of your Burgman videos are of the highest quality. You take the time to show us each bolt clearly and you also show excellent written instructions. Your filming techniques and lighting put your videos on par with professionals.
I would like to know where you learned how to take the Burgman apart.
Thanks,
Brian in Saskatoon SK Canada
А еще как replacement of brake pads
How do you get 71.3 mpg? I used to get mid 60's until I put on a taller windshield, and I drive conservatively. With the new windshield, though, it's more like low 60's, so 70's are definitely out now...
YES sorry! MPG? How do you do that?
thanks for the tip
You bet!
Mic, sei un grande. Mi incanto a vedere i tuoi video tutorial.
