Mitch, I just acquired a Burgman from a friend who neglected maintenance. Your videos are great and I'm sure I will use a few. In this video about changing the air filter, you stated; "make sure the filter is seated fully then installation will be easier". The air filter I purchased doesn't seem to fit down into the groove as deep as it should and I noticed the air filter you installed appears as if you may have sanded or filed the lip a bit. Did you have to file that lip to get the filter to fit into the airbox? Thanks...

Hi Mic thanks for your video's , because of you I put a deposit on a 2006 Burgman 400 , I don't know much about bike , but looks like the Burgman is easy to work on , I just want to ask you , before I get it , is there anything think I should look for when buying the bike? its 2006 Brugman 400 with 30000kms on it thanks Steve Sydney Australia
So much easier on the 98-03 model, its a washable filter you just remove the outer cover like on the 07+ model then 2 screws and lift the foam filter up and out. clean, reoil and refit. Great scooters though no matter which year or model.
Dwainpipe21 .. Hello. The air filter on my 2000 Skywave 400 has disintegrated. Can't get a new one in 3rd world.. Any ideas for a mickey mouse fix? THNX
Sorry I didn't reply ! only just seen comment lol glad you found a fix, I would have suggested getting a sheet of filter foam/sponge if avalible and cutting it down to fit? failing that remove entire airbox and use a cone filter to suit carb intake size although it may have not run great!.

@majorghn um I see the price in $30 range over the suzuki oem parts websites but have to add shipping cost too... I think $40 is not that bad..
