The black seeds you used in the philo cheese pie along with sesame seeds are called nigella seeds

I just made this with 1 change. I used spinach instead of parsley. It was AMAZING!!!!! I’ve never had feta with milk and egg yoke before. This is my new comfort food for the rest of the pandemic.
Eventually, my grocery will have parsley, and I’ll make it right. I’m planning to make it with grated carrots and black olives for Halloween dinner.

Hi Idil! I made this recipe yesterday for my Turkish husband and it tasted SO amazing! Very easy and clear instructions.
I really want to try so many other of your Turkish recipes from your Turkish TH-cam channel but unfortunately I don’t understand it.
Could you repost your videos on this channel and do a voiceover in English? This way you don’t have to refilm everything and you can share your lovely recipes with many other countries!
Thank you and looking forward to the rest of your videos!

I had given up hopes that I could make a delicious borek in Germany because the phyllo dough that you get in Turkish supermarkets here are nowhere close to a phyllo dough that you get in Turkey - they are maybe 4 times thicker than the original ones. But I made this recipe and the borek came out super moist and delicious! Definitely recommend it!
