Ugin's Binding is quickly becoming one of my favorite cards. It's such an awesome addition to making slow eldrazis viable in this format. You can even mainboard ugin the spirit dragon if you want as well if you find yourself playing against aggro way too much. Just make sure NOT to copy with shifting woodland because copying planeswalker = no loyalty = death!
Some maths conversation around casting Kozilek's Command: I'm going to make some assumptions that you dont really want to mana drain into Kozilek's Command on turn 3 or greater. This is just a value play and not really responding to the board state too much. Maybe this is a neutral play or playing from behind. (Maybe only K-Command(x=2)) Rather to use K-Command, I think you are casting it with Labyrinth (because you have ramped). Following a hypergeometric calculator, and assuming you really only need to find the Labyrinth (4 successful copies), we might say your starting hand plus tutoring down 4 cards = 11 sample size. If we reduce this to your expected floor for playing K-Command with Labyrinth, then this is only a 56.55% chance to have double colourless to cast K-Command. The fringe case of hitting your 1x pain land and not needing (not having) exiled anything under the Labyrinth is a low probability that we call this 0%. If we can look deeper into the deck, say searching 8 cards past your starting hand of 7 (aka 15 positions as your sample size) then your cumulative probability for Labyrinth≥1 is 69.45%. ----------- In another words, for Brawl (using a mono colour so its more like I’m a 2 colour deck, Black and Colourless): trying to cast K-Command with 11 sources when you have a sample of top 20, this is only X≥2 is 69.97% and feels lack lustre. Maybe monoblue in Brawl wants this (to hold up counter magic or to hold draw+creature/grave). What would be your ideal modes / targets for K-Command in Timeless? It seems like an excellent slot for a monoblue deck in Brawl. Timeless feels fast enough that you need more colourless sources or consider the K-Command is a cost. Just my two cents with why I’m not enjoying with K-Command as much as I thought I would.
Would also be curious the people who feel Kozilek's Command is worth 7 to 10 usd, maybe they could share why/when they use it in what formats lol My playtesting put this as a 2usd card for the troubles to cast it and the use cases for it. Hopefully I'm wrong lol
thanks for putting the time in making this comment.🙂You would want K-command for ramping and killing a target ideally. Because the only time I missed K-command was in match 3 vs. ragavan. I do think it's kind of a stretch to try to play K-command though. Mana drain is already hard enough 😅It's a godsend that the new eldrazi MDFC land gives you green/blue
@@Takobyte Simple answer is the best answer? Kami of Bamboo Groves lets you ramp and is your blocker against 1 toughness creatures. Otherwise to get your colourless fix, Urza's Construction Drone might fix your mana for K-command (still not solving on the draw against turn 1 Ragavan)
part of the reason why there is no channel is it's a really bad top deck. Unless you play it on turn 2, you won't have enough life to cast big eldrazis. And, even if you did you are probably too low to attack vs. other decks except decks like omnitell
@@Takobyte but the times you put 2 nulldrifters into play turn 2 and get a flawless victory by annihilating their 2 lands has to make up for that, right? lol

Orthanc's pronunciation is fixed, thank goodness!

Jokes aside, thanks for the content as always.

Would you consider utopia sprawl as another ramp spell that’s fairly hard to interact with?
we don't play enough forest for that unfortunately.
I like uw eldrazi control deck
