I’m pretty much gonna do the same to mine(as soon as dem taxes hit lol) as far as a Evo X intercooler and the borla exhaust.. thinkin bout putting the Cobb tunning chip in but I plan on staying away from an intake because I know I would lose that sweet bubbling water sound from the borla.. a intake will change the sound right??? I know a intake changed my cousins maxima sound from experience..
これらのナット yeah the cobb tune has done wonders with mine. I've had it for 3 years now with no issues. The intake will make the engine bay a lot louder and also requires a pro tune. That's the main reason I didn't get one for mine.

I live in a college town with tons of cops and they havent ever bothered me. As long as you're not flooring it everywhere around town they should leave you alone lol
Bill Layton honestly no and at highway speeds it's silent. And at lower speeds you hear the borla rumble like a muscle car lol.. I hands down recommend it.
It's a borla s type exhaust and can be found on a lot of sites I personally bought mine on ebay. You need to make sure to not buy the Evo x version though as it won't fit
I actually bought it off ebay and I don't think the posting is up anymore. If you put the car info in on ebay and then search Borla s type it should come right up. Just make sure you don't buy the version for the Evo as it won't fit.
Derek Stubbs I haven't so far. The o2 sensor is higher up on the exhaust so you should have no issues with the cat back section causing a check engine code.
The mufflers were deleted and it has a resonator can on it if I remember correctly. I just replaced the entire catback section and kept the stock downpipe and cat.
If it hasn't been maintained properly I would worry. Make sure to get all the records to ensure fluid trans fluid changes were completed in proper intervals so you purchase a car with a bad trans
I'm not sure you would have to measure from the cat to figure out if that would work. Or check with some of the other Lancer groups and ask if anyone else has tried this. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful
Azza 96 I actually bought it from a vendor on eBay and he only had a limited supply he said. You just want to make sure you don't get the evo x one because the fitment is off.

Well unfortunately if you did find one, your year model lancer has a completely different engine than 2008+ you're better off watching a video of your cars year model
@@sch55 Very nice. Also completely different from the 4g63 in your car. Stock, modified, whatever. Every engine has a different tone and personality. So even with a higher end exhaust for the 4g platform, it still wont have lower growly pitch of the 4b with borlas

I haven't personally but a lot of the early ralliarts had timing chain stretching issues. Most people change them at 100k with the revised chain to fix the issue.
The Ralliart also runs the Evo 9 awd system and has a smaller single scroll turbo vs the Evo’s torque vectoring diffs and larger twin scroll turbo. The Ralliart is still a quick and very tunable car
@@cartalkswithcole7258 we had it reffed. The number I gave was what it tested at. My girl has probably the most stock raliart in the country. It is definitely far above legal sound limits. Being a 4cyl turbo, that sound will eventually attract cops... Unlike essentially just as loud v8 domestic cars.
@@depressedsauce2898 no not at all. I change the sst fluid and filter every 25k and nothing has gone wrong with it. The only thing I have had break was the transmission oil cooler but that wasn't a big deal in comparison.

The only thing I can think to do is to pay someone to weld a resonator in to it or install a bunch of dynamat to help lower the cabin noise.
Can we get cabin noise, highway drone and then maybe some external pulls? :D
Yeah I can do that for sure. It may be a few weeks because I'm in the middle of moving and all my recording gear is at the new place lol

Krankenhaus no not until the summer when I put a hfc and catted downpipe on. So far I love it though not a lot of drone In daily driving it.

Not on the stock lancer because the exhaust components wouldn't match up. I think borla makes an exhaust kit for Lancers as well though.

The 09 to 15 will not fit due to its shape but maybe they have one for an 04 on their site.

Highway is the best after you hit 70 it quiets down a lot.
Have had mine just over a month it has a timing chain issue I’m saving up to take in for ever have any experience with that?
I haven't personally but a lot of the early ralliarts had timing chain stretching issues. Most people change them at 100k with the revised chain to fix the issue.

When I bought it they stated it was a legal decibel for all 50 states. But I know the rules changed not that long ago so I cant be sure.
