Well unfortunately if you did find one, your year model lancer has a completely different engine than 2008+ you're better off watching a video of your cars year model

@@sch55 Very nice. Also completely different from the 4g63 in your car. Stock, modified, whatever. Every engine has a different tone and personality. So even with a higher end exhaust for the 4g platform, it still wont have lower growly pitch of the 4b with borlas

@@sch55 again, I love the 4g63t, but they just are inherently different sounding motors.

I'm not sure you would have to measure from the cat to figure out if that would work. Or check with some of the other Lancer groups and ask if anyone else has tried this. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

I'm not sure about regulations outside of the US. I would check some ralliart forums or try calling Borla customer service and asking them. Good luck!

I actually bought it off ebay and I don't think the posting is up anymore. If you put the car info in on ebay and then search Borla s type it should come right up. Just make sure you don't buy the version for the Evo as it won't fit.

I hadn't really done many mods after my last video and now I've sold the car. I'm still here to support my Ralliart fam though

The mufflers were deleted and it has a resonator can on it if I remember correctly. I just replaced the entire catback section and kept the stock downpipe and cat.

If it hasn't been maintained properly I would worry. Make sure to get all the records to ensure fluid trans fluid changes were completed in proper intervals so you purchase a car with a bad trans

It's a borla s type exhaust and can be found on a lot of sites I personally bought mine on ebay. You need to make sure to not buy the Evo x version though as it won't fit

The 09 to 15 will not fit due to its shape but maybe they have one for an 04 on their site.

Highway is the best after you hit 70 it quiets down a lot.

Yes I am, the funny thing is that it sounds like yours but way louder. Once I get the exhaust situation solved imma go ahead and get the street warrior body kit

I honestly dont remember I believe I just went to an auto zone and picked up a gasket specifically for the ralliart

When I bought it they stated it was a legal decibel for all 50 states. But I know the rules changed not that long ago so I cant be sure.

@@cartalkswithcole7258 I can guarantee you that it's not :) over 105 dB. legal limit is 95.

@@cartalkswithcole7258 we had it reffed. The number I gave was what it tested at. My girl has probably the most stock raliart in the country. It is definitely far above legal sound limits. Being a 4cyl turbo, that sound will eventually attract cops... Unlike essentially just as loud v8 domestic cars.

@@premiumpandagaming intercooler is doing great. I've done a few mods since but not many. Just a corbeau race seat and ss brake lines. Still doing well all in all with 105k miles on it

That's the unfortunate part of the ralliart is its transmission having shift fork failures. Make sure to take it in on services on time every time and it will lower the chances of anything happening. And if for some reason it did go there are many places out there that have used ones available for fairly reasonable prices.

@@depressedsauce2898 I can definitely see that side of things. I've personally used it as a daily for 5 years and 50k miles with only minor issues that were easy to fix. A lot of ralliart owners dont daily them though so it is your call.

I still own the Ralliart and love every minute with it! I haven't had any transmission issues or any other issues but I always change the fluids on time or early

@@psynapsebornagainwizard732 that's awesome to hear. I've had the car now for 5 years and hope for at least 5 more. The borla is a great choice no doubt because it's not overly loud but still turns heads when you drive by.

I haven't personally but a lot of the early ralliarts had timing chain stretching issues. Most people change them at 100k with the revised chain to fix the issue.

I haven't lately but I should start again. It's a great platform to modify I would just recommend changing the sst fluid and filter regularly and you should have a great car. Let me know if you need help or have questions on anything!

@@depressedsauce2898 no not at all. I change the sst fluid and filter every 25k and nothing has gone wrong with it. The only thing I have had break was the transmission oil cooler but that wasn't a big deal in comparison.

Yeah definitely. It's a great option to make any Ralliart sound amazing. I've had it on for 2 years now and no complaints here.

The only thing I can think to do is to pay someone to weld a resonator in to it or install a bunch of dynamat to help lower the cabin noise.

This borla is for the lancer ralliart which is the turbocharged lancer trim with an apt transmission.

The Ralliart also runs the Evo 9 awd system and has a smaller single scroll turbo vs the Evo’s torque vectoring diffs and larger twin scroll turbo. The Ralliart is still a quick and very tunable car

I usually run Bridgestone potenza tires that are OEM size (215 40 r 18). The xxrs are stock offset and I want to say 8 wide.

I personally didn't care for the stock exhaust on the Ralliart. I felt like there wasn' any character to the exhaust and it just sounded bland to me.

Absolutely agree! Very angry roaring!) But if I get travel with my wife all day... You know what I mean) ! Whatever, lancer sounds like an eruption! Gorgeous!
