That would be great, there's a Digitech pedal which does Lexicon Reverb, The HardWire RV-7 Stereo Reverb pedal but I don't know if there's one for the Lex Delays.
Eventide's Band delay is a gem. Underrated, but easily my favorite delay sound. Gotta say this is a really great comparison video. Can easily tell Roman knows each pedal quite well.
The only thing that bothers me about Eventide is that they do not disclose the internal bit depth and sampling rate their DSPs are using. All they say is that it is optimized for performance...whatever that means. Boss and Strymon both make that information publicly available, and the only reason I can see why Eventide would keep that to themselves is if they are using something like 16bit/44.1KHz.
Also, you can't hear well enough to better than that bit depth/sample rate, anyway ... and the longer it's been since you were born, the truer that is ... :P
I will start by saying I find neither of these better. My preferences vary. What I would say is that you can definitely hear that power in the 500 series. The MD500 for example finally recreates the complexity of analogue flanging and phasing to a pedal. I hear it in the 500 delays. There is just so much going on in the DD500 32 bit delay sounds. Unfortunately the sound balance is often better on the Time factor and that puts it all in perspective. It should be easier to dial in a warm sound in the 500 series - but they are still amazing pedals.
BOSS RV500 96 kHz 32 BIT 32 BIT A/D and D/A converters EMPRESS 48kHz 32 BIT 24 BIT A/D and D/A converters STRYMON BIG SKY 96kHz 32 BIT 24 BIT A/D and D/A converters VENTRIS 48kHz 56 BIT 24 BIT A/D and D/A converters *Eventide SPACE N/A Freescale (now NXP) DSP56366 or 367, running at 120-140MHz depending on age. 24 BIT A/D and D/A converters *”Space does not have a dedicated sampling rate. I have owned the DD-500 and still own an H9. If you play in stereo it takes a bit of menu diving (via the assign panning function)to get the DD-500 to sound as good as an Eventide or Strymon. The stereo imprint is just better on the Strymon and Eventides. Boss sounds mono out of the box. The advantage of the Boss is the powerful eq section and that awesome screen. Shimmer and SFX kind of suck though when you could have Eventides Band delay or Mod delay or Strymon's ice or lofi delays.
+MrMongo321 thanks for letting me know. Deleted the other ones. Must have been finger trouble. Don't work for eventide. Just own an H9 and have owned the dd500 in the past.
#FAKE NEWS!! You just need to pour covfefe over your gear and it will fix it. It will sound biggest and betterer than anyone else's gear. And Mexico will pay for all your gear/a wall of speaker cabinets for you. TRUTH!!!!
TimeFactor still sounds 'warmer' to me, in a pleasing way ... just as I prefer some 80s digital rack delays to anything made today. What did you think, Roman?! Thanks for this comparison ... Nicely done. :)
I actually think The Boss Sounds Better ( not tremendously better ) but Warmer & Thicker. With the DD-500 you have Incredible Amounts of Programming Options ( and I am a Tweaker ). Its got a Great Large Screen, for Editing. The Processor in the DD-500 is Sick. ( state of the art / right now ).
I'm surprised at you people!! truly this lot has serious taste issues. both sound fine, but eventide who's been making studio processing devices since before most of you were born. that crispness, the slightly better signal to noise ratio? all effects well defined and no artifacts ( unless the patch calls for it). Eventide is the best sounding, honestly not by much though. I think it's more designed for the hardened professional guitarists who's more concerned about"sounding like the record" we would go with a tried and long established company. boss does a great job but at times not so much. too many products out there chasing the cash which is good. Eventide doesn't have any consumer level toys out. I think the closest they've came is the somewhat round about H-9. with that you would definitely need a tablet. I'd by one but the music I'm presently playing. the congregation doesn't lend itself to such effects. I suppose it's a musician/gear trollop sort of thing
killer demo as always man I wish lexicon would design a pedal based on those killer delays from the pcm 70 and 81 and pcm 42s rack units

Have you got this new boss DD-500 unit vs Line 6 DL4 coming up?
They are so beautiful.
Timefactor wins
Hi everybody. Do this pedal replicate the 80’s LUKATHER DELAYS ? Pcm 70 CIRCULAR, for example….
You should compare the Boss DD-500 to a Vox Delaylab :)
O eventide ainda pode ser considerado um delay atual?
O mais novo da Eventide é o H9, mas eu acho que pode sim.
Na verdade, ele ainda é produzido, logo, sim...é
SIm, Eventide TImeFactor e H9, mais grande du delays.

It is simple make a spectral graph of the wet signal

Ps I currently own RV500 DD500 MD500 and the amazing Pitchfactor

WHat - do you work for H9? You posted the same thing 3 times in here!

lol!
do you know if the loop ode does sync with midi clock?
Time factors has warm sound
I heard recently that the Timefactor had some issues when run through the FX loop. Can anybody confirm that?
Fake, you just need to pull down two switches. It works wonders
#FAKE NEWS!! You just need to pour covfefe over your gear and it will fix it. It will sound biggest and betterer than anyone else's gear. And Mexico will pay for all your gear/a wall of speaker cabinets for you. TRUTH!!!!
If you have a parallel fx loop you will need to select the kill dry function on the pedal. If you have a serial fix loop you should be fine.

What did you think, Roman?!

a trick: watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Braylon Emanuel Yea, been using Flixzone} for since december myself :D
환상적인 소리네 ~
Boss is Boss .
The Eventide wins, as usual.
Difícil escolha (Hard Decision)

"Large" screen for editing. Lol
Timefactor has more shimmer
ボスの方がドライも返しも原音に近い気がするけど、どうなんだろう、実際。
もしそうならボスの方選ぶな。

Boss has not been out longer? The Edge used Boss, before Eventide brother...
@Douglas Williams
Lol, at this point the Eventide is old technology. The functionality of the Boss unit is far greater.
The more I tinker with my DD-500, the more I agree with you. There is a lot in there...LOL
@@laneonguitar64the edge? who’s that ?
