As a COVID ICU nurse in NYC during the height of the outbreak here, to hear Phap Dung refer to us as bodhisattvas is truly humbling and such an honor ❤️
Thank you dear Brother. I have already felt that the Universe is crying for our attention. That we must become less greedy, less consuming, more caring of Mother Earth. I often read The Way of The Bodhisattva by Shantideva. It has been my personal bible for 17 years now. We must learn from our suffering to simplify life. I am recently widowed, so I am learning to be alone. But I reach out to my friends. We give each other courage. With Love. Merry💕
In Australia, in particular Victoria, we are just coming out of lock down & getting about more, what i noticed about Lock Downs "for The Planet" was that starving Orca's that only eat Salmon & particular fish, are plump & eating well & having Young, i saw Kangaroos coming in to built up areas & they were coming to see if the humans were really gone. Fish stocks in the ocean had improved, pollution had got no worse, Eagles were bringing forth more young & Koalas were able to cross highways without being struck. The Creature Teachers of Land above & below, Sky fliers & Ocean dwellers, were breathing a sigh of relief. Even Trees were unfelled & rivers clearer, the All that is was recovering! Like yourself i shed tears too & i pray that Human Souls will listen with all their senses, be mindful that we share this Earth. Nurses & Doctors "Salt Of The Earth" ..Thank You for You Br Phap Dung 🌏🙏🏻
I’m listening to this talk now Nov 18, 2020. Covid infections are ravaging in the US. Your talk cannot be more timely. Mother earth, the universe and humanity are begging us to stop and examine our behaviors! Thank you for your insights and encouragement, Brother Phap Dung.
In a video posted after Thay’s death, he does speak about how much he - and Plum Village community- have really appreciated the many emails & online comments received in support of them as they find their way through this difficult time.
Dear br Phap Dung, stay strong. We love you, we need you, we thank you, You and your brothers and sisters are always in our thoughts and hearts. May you all keep well. All our love to you.
Thank you Br. Phap Dung for sharing your deepest feelings with all of us. Impermanence and Interbeing are indeed very deep teachings. Your talk helps me to let go of my plans for the future a little bit more. May your parents be well - I'm sure it is hard for them also not to be with you. With a bow of deep understanding in this moment.

You are lovely, dear brother. Your sense of humor, your journey through life, and your heartfelt serious sharing is much appreciated. I wish that I could have ☕ coffee or tea and chat with my beautiful brothers and sisters in Plum Village face to face. You have given us all a family in France! Much love to you. 💛💛💛
What a wonderful thing to wake up and listen to such wisdom...we are so fortunate to have such teachings in our daily lives..the great feature of these talks is that they are not dogmatic so they create peace amongst us rather than division..thankyou my friend
Dear Brother, Your presence is present for us , sharing a confused moments with us. One night my emotions full of fears , I turned off all the news and be back my breath, only breath as you used to said: “ think nothing, think about your breath”. I am very appreciate that i have a chance to learn meditation from brothers and sisters that I can apply it now. 🙏🏻
As always I’ve enjoyed this talk as well as all of Br PD’s talks, so calm so inspiring and so true! One thing stays in my mind about this talk is that “we are the cancer of the planet”, so I guess to heal Mother Earth we need to be very conscious of how to live a simple life, if possible like a monastic, if we all look at how the brothers and sisters at the Plum Village live their lives of happiness and peace, I guess we can too, everyone needs to be mindful and live for now and enjoy the presence of loved ones! I’m very grateful for their teachings and I vow to practice as much as I can! Namaste!
Thank you Brother Phap Dung. Your words touched my heart. Your dharma talk was very thought provoking and inspiring. It helped put my fear into a different perspective
Dear Thầy . Your tears touched my heart and soul. Thank you so much for your peacock time and your calmness, makes my soul feel so peaceful. Thank you Thầy again and always.
I have watched this over and over again, and I feel so much calmer and connected to the earth and the universe. I could go on and on, but Br Phap Dung, I must say this is probably among the deepest and most profound dharma talks I have heard. I enjoy your gentleness, clarity, and your depth of insight, and sense of humor. While this pandemic is a very serious situation, and you must address that, within you is also the lightheartedness and sense of humor that I have seen in other dharma talks (like the One-Eyed Fish story you told to the children in another video). Thank you for providing these videos from Plum Village.
I have used this idea of the noble moment of this situation many times this year, and always recognized your wisdom, Brother. It has motivated me to dedicate much of my life to make change and to work with others in this noble effort. Thank you for this beautiful light. Good to hear it again
So awesome to see you again Brother Phap Dung! Thank you for the timely message and your beautiful presence -Happy Easter to you and the Sangha - hope to see you at Deer Park again one day - much love!
Blessed be our planet. Blessed be the Two leggeds, the four leggeds, the feathered one's. With Love, understanding, compassion, and prayer, we will be Nobel. 🙏💜🏔️
@@plumvillageonline I had an odd Dream about Br. Phap Dung. We where in a garden room, lots of lush green leaves. We where sitting cross legged facing each other. And he was teaching me to levitate while reciting the words of Buddha. It was a very calming peaceful dream.

I'm sure there's a reason for me to listen to this talk again. Do I/we/ them really need suffering and pain and trauma to learn?...or... would I/we/them rather prefer to learn through awareness, mindfulness and love?. Mother Earth seems to be asking the question and still I/we/them wont stop to listen at her. Very interesting. Thank you again 🙏🌻🍁
i am thinking about places to meditate at when i wake up in a few hours. funny. it is 4am EST but yet I am eager to wake up early. I will try to get 6 hours of sleep, no more than 8. But I am excited to meditate in the morning in a calm, safe, sanitary place of refuge-perhaps under a tree. It would be nice to have a tree inside my house, perhaps I will do so next to my father’s bonsai trees he takes care of.
Hare Krishna yes it's very sad what is happening to the world and the people and animals that are suffering from physical and mental illness and some people around my area are becoming more stressed out by the lockdowns etc It's like the world is having a nervous Breakdown and it's not surprising----It's not the end of the world but it's the end of the world we knew for certain
日本語字幕のおかげでお話を伺うことができました。本当に励まされました。心から感謝しています♡
I will watch this many times to come

This gives me peace during this PLANdemic.
I admire him for how he can sit there by the incense and not cough. I couldn’t last sitting that long by the smoke.
