The most delicious thing I ever experienced was a fresh deep unobstructed breath of air the day I recovered from Covid ! I have never felt such delight!! For real!! Then I realized, I will live
Thank you Thay and thank you plum village for I need to slow down as I have become angry and it is at myself. So I will stop this loneliness and going out looking for me! I will slow down now and thank you for this wonderful dharma talk. I will now reconnect to self as I have been lost. I will practice self care with love with radical acceptance instead of guilt, worry, anger, and so much suffering. Time to start a new seed of happiness and take me home ……
♥️ Br Phap Huu's voice.. been listening to him on "The Way Out is In" podcast, and always find him fresh, delightful, warm, and sooo calming...it's like creme de brulee! 🙏💕
I really needed this right now. In these trying times I have forgotten self and allowed ego and the words of others to take control. It's now time to continue my practice. From square one. Thank you and may you all find peace and be free. 🙏
Mindfulness is a way of life. So true. Thank you Thay Phap Huu for your important work carrying on Thich Nhat Hanh's legacy and becoming your own teacher.
Thank you so much Br, Phao Huu for sharing this great Dharma Talk. What you have shared is full of wisdom. I'm so happy, no cows to lose. Your tender voice spread peace and love to the world. Evangelina Cortes.
I have listened for only 16 minutes in the car while driving somewhere and before I get out of my car to go somewhere I am struck with the insight of deep listening. I feel this woman speaking to be the flower that needs watering from Tai's books. I feel the words she speaks are not so important as to empty her heart. I see loving speech to be the answer, that this flower is seeking. Alot of women are flowers who need loving speech and deep listening to go on and continue living this day.
This was indeed a Blessing. Many years ago I did Walking Meditation in the Temple and taught Walking Meditation. I did not particularly enjoy it. Today Br. Pham Huu introduced me to the real meaning of Walking Meditation. I AM GRATEFUL. I AM BLESSED. Thank you Br Phap Huu. 🙏
'hm.... 51 minute video. SO long. I wonder if I can listen to all of that right now?' After: time behaves differently. There is plenty of it. That 51 minutes felt so light.
Sometimes i am missing Thay. But when i hear your words and your lessions- i will smile and take Deep breath, cause i feel Thay s wundervoll being is continued by you- thank you so much. 🦋
By practising the mindful breathing,I have forgotten to blow my fuse . May be one day I won’t need one .i have also started to find goodness in every one .it makes me love every one as much as i love myself. Thank you Thay .RP
thanks Br Phap Hūu, your talk meets me literally with a broken wrist after i forgot myself for a second when the doorbell rang because somebody was in hurry. Present moment- be home in the body 🙏Love and Blessing.
Perfect dharma for beginners n he knows how to deliver the right tone n proper line to mk us understood without much difficulty but simplcity. Great Bodhi mind! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Br Phap Huu, your talk is Wonderfull. I'm totally sure I'll listen so many times in order to learn from your wisdom. You are great. Evangelina Cortes.
Simple and easy to understand truth and yet it is profound insight that can set us free. Thank you very much. Will remind myself of the idea of the two wings of meditation and the story of the farmer and cows.
Thank you very much Br. Phap Huu.Wonderful Dharma Talk. Yes, taking care of ourselves first is great in order to help others. I love the way you explain how to walk, step by step. EC.
I hope to save to come over from the UK next year to stay with Plum Village for a week. I'd love to experience talks like these in the purest form. Thankyou!
Thank you Scott. A reminder for me to come home. I live alone, and when I read comments as clear as yours, then I am home with myself. When we genuinely communicate we don't realize how many lives are touched and opened- even after a year has passed. Ron
The Plum Village community is such a blessing and gift to the world. You are all keeping Thay's light alive in the world and making it new. I deeply appreciate your talks Phap Huu, your energy feels very loving, kind and moving, it is beautiful to receive. You have such a gift, thanks for sharing it with the world. Blessings to such a wonderful, inspiring and beautiful community. Love you all.
beautiful words brother, We have all suffered in one way or anpther. I feel fortunate to not have contrived covid. I got my shots relatively early an immediately felt less afraid. i am excited for the use of my new paintbrush..
Dear Josephine, so sorry to hear about your loss. Sending good vibes and love. Have a look at this directory helping you find a sangha near you plumvillage.org/about/international-sangha-directory/ It helps to share with a community of practice in times like these. Hope you'll find this useful. 🙏
I don’t mean this in an disrespectful way at all as I met Phap huu last year and he is fantastic but I remember when I first listened to Thay and Phap hung I remember thinking why do they pause so much and I began to understand that as part of their teaching. Phap Huu speaks continuously and maybe it’s becoz he is still young. He is incredibly wise but I would like to see how with time he speaks slower to allow his teaching time to sink in. I don’t mean this is any negative way it’s just an observation from how some of the other monks teach. Thanks for sharing your insight 🙏🏾
I understand that the present moment is not a particular point of time between the past and the future. It is non-local and non-temporal, anywhere and anytime, namely the ultimate, or nirvana. Isn't that Thay's teaching?

What a wonderful young man. He reminds me a lot of Thay.

Relief from suffering is probably the sweetest gift in life.

@Marj ‘self’ is the ego, while ‘Self’ is our true nature...I think he was referring to that.
Sadhu !

he act like the new monk in this movies. i love his amazing talk.

His talking style reminds me of Bruce Lee.
This was beautiful, thank you? Where can I find the next one he s talking about taking care of our feeling s and emotions?
