Gachiakuta Anime Series Set for Release in 2025！
■About Gachiakuta
Crawl back from the abyss of Hell to change this lousy world!
Rudo lives in the slums of a floating town, where the poor scrape by under the shadow of the rich who live a sumptuous life, simply casting their garbage off the side, into the abyss. Then one day, he’s falsely accused of murder, and his wrongful conviction leads to an unimaginable punishment-exile off the edge, with the rest of the trash. Down on the surface, the cast-off waste of humanity has bred vicious monsters, and if Rudo wants to have any hope of discovering the truth and seeking vengeance against those who cast him into Hell, he will have to master a new power and join a group known as the Cleaners who battle the hulking trash beasts of the Pit!
Centered around Rudo, a young orphaned boy born in a slum where the descendants of criminals are exiled, Gachiakuta is an action manga written and illustrated by manga artist Kei Urana with graffiti art by Hideyoshi Andou. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2022 and won the Global Special Prize in the Comics category of the Next Manga Awards 2022. While developing the concept for the series, Urana thought that incorporating graffiti art would make it more interesting and enlisted the help of graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou.

As someone who read it from the first chapter since Fire Force ended and it was announced tht it was made by the creator's assistant, I am beyond hyped! Ohkubo made Fire Fighters cool and now Urana made Janitors more awesome! 🔥🔥🔥

At worst you confirm your vision (which is false because we are far from the setup of a typical nekketsu and surprise: the protagonist has already made mental progress), at best you discover a manga that you might like.
Anyway, overhyped or not it doesn't change anything about Kei Urana's drawing talent and even a skeptical person cannot deny this.

Gachiakuta sakamoto days and dan da dan are about to become the new gen big three and personally i cant wait
The Manga reminded me of a random Harvey episode where there were two places: Heaven and the abyss. We are introduced to Harvey who fixes the malfunctioning core and he did it but a few seconds later, the core started malfunctioning again. Then suddenly the core stops malfunctioning again. Everyone falsely accused him of not fixing the core properly and they threw him into the abyss. There, he met some people who hated the sky people for dumping their garbage in their place. Well, they became friends and they helped each other to go back to heaven. The thing is, I'm thinking that Gachiakuta was inspired by this because Harvey wears clothes that are only exclusive to the sky people. The garbage people were wearing casual clothing. And one more, this is the real reason why I think Gachiakuta inspired this episode. The place called Heaven is a FLOATING ISLAND, and the abyss is a DUMPSITE AREA full of GARBAGE. Those things are something you commonly see in Gachiakuta.

I’ve never heard of this manga. However, i want to watch it due to the fact it’s made by studio BONES alone.
It seriously has one of the best art I've ever seen, and this is a more or less weekly series too unbelievable. It is a little bit slow at the start but it ramps up as the manga progresses, is a good one!

For comparison, i felt as if Dandadan had great art, characters and fight scenes but lacked a captivating story. I dont see myself coming back to dandadan very often (im over 90 chapters into it though). Does this manga suffer from this too? I really don’t mind a slower pacing if it means the story is intriguing.
@@moonlightmando7163 Hmm I personally find Dandadan better than Gachikiuta (mainly in regards to characters if you been reading the latest chapters) as of now but Gachikiuta has big potential as even after 100 chapters it barely scratches the surface of the overarching plot and mystery.
I consider the fights in Gachiakuta to be uniquely captivating with the heavily detailed artstyle that's even better than Dandadan.
It's not gonna blow your mind with a deep story but it's solid enough, mainly helped because of its seriously good art lol I can't stop raving about it haha
@@moonlightmando7163Point of view of a reader present since the first chapter: the development is rather slow but we regularly discover new elements of the lore to understand a little more the mystery surrounding this universe.
While waiting to know more, we have a top artistic direction, a well-found power system, support characters who can shine even though they do not have access to these powers and confrontations far from being limited to who hits the hardest.
Another positive point that I may not be explaining very well: so far the world and the characters are sufficiently "alive" to not be dependent on the protagonist. To be more specific, this universe could very well serve as a setup for other stories, tabletop roleplaying, etc.

Oui, bon, faut tout de même doser hein. Le premier chapitre date de février 2022. Deux années et des poussières pour avoir l'annonce d'un anime c'est loin d'être le bout du monde quand en face tu as des titres comme Level E, Kiseijū (Parasite chez nous), Jojo's ou plus récemment Pluto qui ont attendus des décennies pour avoir droit à des adaptations dans ce format.
I wanted TRIGGER to adapt it but bones is also a goated studio so I'm still happy :D

Why? I never felt the danger of the axe with this manga.
Knowing that the sales in the first weeks are ok for a WSM title still little known (between 24k and 36K depending on the volume), Gachiakuta has never been in danger.
Also, now that the anime is coming, the future explosion in popularity will surely allow Kei Urana to not have to worry about that.

余談ですがモブサイコに力入れ過ぎてヒロアカ6期作画落ちすぎてるみたいな根も葉もない噂話聞いて当時はモヤモヤしてたの思い出しました。
