Scale Shot activates Gooey? That’s not right. Also, about the wrong cries for the new mons I think just downloading the whole mod instead of just patching it would fix it.
Yeah Scale Shot isn't a contact move so it shouldn't activate Gooey. Also the wrong cry is still there regardless of downloading the patch or not. It's probably gonna be fixed in next update

Saphira with gouging fire def makes her even harder
Gouging Fire is better than mega-zard X and Dragapult is better than Salamence so yeah it's harder

I think it's a bug. Bulbapedia says scale shot doesn't make contact
