I have had Michelin tires for years. The last set of Defenders on my Avalanche went 74,000 miles and still had some tread left. It has the deepest tread of any Michelin tire plus it is rated "A" for heat and rated "A" traction. There are some of the tires in this video that are not rated as high in heat and traction.
Not bad for the production budget I'm sure. Would have like to seen some vengeance at the end but I understand the constraint. Good all around I guess.
I recently, 1.5 years ago, purchased a performance vehicle and it came with Bridgestone tires. I replace the tires with Bridgestone Potenzas and six months later I'm having to replace two of the tires. I hit a pot hole and the other is wearing down. This time I'm replacing them with Kelly Tires, a Goodyear product.
There have been ascending the top 5 list based on the rating of Amazon Customer's reviews. For "Pirelli P4 Four Seasons Plus" the customer review rating is 629 (see the screenshot prnt.sc/tLra3RKSnwjB ) higher than the rest 4 of the list. So, it becomes number 1, Then "Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring" comes in 2nd position. Hope now you @josephsmith594 understood.
@@tiresreviewnice video, I'm not sure the tires should be ranked based off of that though. The Pirelli's have been in the market for awhile now so something like that will have more reviews. There are newer design tires I'm looking at from Michelin, the Primacy Tour all seasons. I think they may be pretty quiet and smooth. Is the Defender in your video supposed to be one of the best noise and ride quality tires from Michelin?
@@jdodd170 I have a set of the Comfordrive on a 2020 CRV. They are smooth & quiet. One thing I don't like about them is you get zero road feel which is great for a long drive on a smooth road, but not so good for the downpours we get here in South Carolina. My opinion the Comfortread touring was a superior tire. I'm not disappointed that I bought them, but probably wouldn't buy them again in the future. I have had them for about 40k miles and still have 6/32 left on the tread, so it does look like you can get the full 60k out of them.

I’ve heard you can change the first two numbers of the tire size. I’m thinking of getting a 205 55 R 16 from original size 215 60 R 16

Best I could generally recommend you is have more side wall in your tires having more side wall will absorb more shock before it gets to your cabin
