Hello Aaron I have same model. Can't start this machine. The motor turn, but never start. I tried to put gaz on each cylinder....the machin run for 3 second and stop. It look like no gaz come to the injection system. Do you have any idea of this problem ?
Check your fuel pump. Unfortunately the fuel pump and internal filer is in the tank it’s a couple hour job but I would start there. Change the fuel pump and all pre filters and filters while you are there.
When you put you key on 2 beeps and you should hear your fuel pump turn on. If you don’t check all power connections leading to the fuel pump. Take connections apart carefully and make sure all wires are seated into the connector fully. If you have power to the fuel pump and don’t hear it turn on replace the fuel pump. If you hear fuel pump kick on when the key is on then clean/replace filters. If it is your pump after you change it put the key on and off to turn on the pump 10 times to prime system before trying to start it
Mate I love the video I was looking for someone to help me with my issue I have a 2000 GTX millennium I get one long beep when I go to accelerate it can’t be overheating I was told that it wasn’t charging so I’m gonna try the rectifier
If you’re ski starts up just fine after sitting it’s not a charging issue if you have an alarm going off all the time check your water you probably have an alarm even if it’s not overheating it could be a faulty alarm thinking that it is overheating
@@patriotpressurewashingUSA might need to re program your key…..local dealer can do that. un hook the battery for a while to reset all electronics, check all fuses you can locate. I would start there and hope that helps
@@aaronshaffer2285 replaced the lines and filters last year. I’m not good at this stuff lol. Is that something I just add into the gas tank? Thanks for getting back to me
@@chrisburrows1504 seafoam is a product you dump into the fuel tank, but I would put a new fuel pump in it. I would put in new fuel pump and then run seafoam to help clean the injectors
Hi Aaron, I've got a 2001 Sea Doo GTX DI.... I am having an issue with mine, not sure if it is the same issue or not. My GTX is throwing a Maintenance/ Low Voltage across display with beeping every 15 mins. Was this your situation? Starts and runs fine, just beeping and flashing MAINTENANCE/ LOW VOLTAGE. I appreciate you putting up this video, as you are correct. There are little to no videos on our generation of earlier GTX. Also I live in Boise, Idaho and do not have any shops within several hours of me that will work on these older Sea Doos. Any advice on if the rectifier would help is amazing, Matt
When we bought it guy just told me that it wasn’t charging....we didn’t even put in the water until I put a new rectifier on so I’m not sure on the low voltage and the beeping your getting. I would charge the battery fully and check the water level of your battery’s and the years of your battery’s. Don’t over charge the battery’s, go to harbor freight and get a battery maintainer to put them on while not in use that way you know there charged when you leave. Rectifiers go out all the time order 2 so you have a back up and don’t go cheep you will replace them every year if you do. Let me know
@@aaronshaffer2285 Thanks for the reply and info. So my battery tested perfect, and is not too old. I trickle charge religiously, and after winter storage first time out this happened. I may try the rectifier just to see if it clears it up. Where is a good reliable place online to buy one? I see the off brand ones on Ebay, but don't know if i trust them. I haven't done much parts research for these, and don't plan on cheaping out. Just need a good reliable replacement parts place to find them. Any you recommend? Thanks so much for the help btw. Did you have to disconnect battery before changing the rectifier?
I did just to be safe.. whenever working on any electrical on the ski or anything for that matter disconnect the ground
I have a 1998 and it will not fire! I have spark and have changed out spark plugs got an ideas for me?
Put a little bit of fuel down the cylinder and put the spark plug back in and see if it fires for a min….and by a little I mean a little little
