    I think Caitlin has done enough to fight racism. Her job is basketball. Also, the more she draws attentions to the trolls the more it will happen because they are enjoying all this attention. More attention = more online and in person trolling.

      What has CC done to fight racism? I agree that the trolls like the attention.

    Listen, its not CC job to fight racism. Please leave her and the fans alone. These are trolls. If you want to fight online trolls, go for it.

      Whose job is it, then? It was Jackie Robinson's job. It was Wilma Rudolph's job. It was Gerald Ford's (University of Michigan alum) job. It was Bill Russell's job. Why isn't it CC's job, too?

      @@SeshatPG82 let's first decide how you stop racism. If you can tell me how she can end racism, I'd love to hear it. Racism is way down in our culture yet you would think the opposite. I believe social media and other forms of communication have amplified the issue. I refuse to even acknowledge race in my personal life. I believe racist people do the opposite and are way too focused with skin color. If you want to fight racism, get at it but don't expect others to think like you.

      @@JessicaSmith-bq7wy First of all, I don't believe anybody said she had to 'end racism." There's a difference between ending it and fighting it. I agree with you that racism is deep in our culture (Why did you think I would think the opposite?). It's also the case that people resisting racism, fighting against it is deep in our culture. There are many ways to fight racism. I'll bet you could think of at least one way if you wanted to. I know there are plenty of people who don't think like me but that's not going to stop me from doing my part to disrupt racism and trying to get others to do their part, too.

      @@SeshatPG82 please tell me why you think it's EVERYONE'S job to "fight" for a cause you believe in? What exactly do you want CC to do. She's already denounced bigotry several times and is a great role model as a respectful person. Since she can't end it, why is it her responsibility to "fight" it. I believe in universal healthcare and believe our national would greatly benefit from a single payer system like Medicare for ALL BUT I don't expect others to think like I do and take up the cause. Same with a woman's right to choose. We literally have babies and mothers dying and nobody thinks it's CC's job to fix. And finally, if you want to end racism, stop categorizing people by race and making everything (including basketball) about race.

      @@SeshatPG82 please give examples how you fight online trolls in your own life? Also, please tell me how your efforts have improved our culture. I really want to know what this fight looks like for you.

    The way she was being fouled and the WNBA did not protect her and this created the situation. Stop the hate and jealousy and that will go away.

    This might be the dumbest crap I've ever heard. Caitlin Clark receives more hatred, racism and orientation discrimination than any player in the league...and she ignores it all and just plays ball, even complimenting the players that are trying to injure her on purpose. Angel Reese, Kennedy Carter and more recently Carrington all have intentionally tried to injure Clark. Carrington's could have caused a serious eye injury !! Clark doesn't live on social media. She isn't starting a Podcast. She plays ball! When asked in an interview about the possibility of some of her fans being inappropriate she denounced any and all of that. Its not Her Job to monitor the league and it's fans. Your views are horrible and ridiculous. Be better!!!

    If you think you can control trolling, you're delusional. Conflating Fever fans with racist trolls is a disservice to the league and its players, and especially Indiana fans. And putting this all on Caitlin Clark is ridiculous. As the league grows in popularity do you honestly think the trolls will disappear? CC could do a hundred anti-racism PSAs and the trolls will still come out of the wood work. Get real, for once.

    How come you did not mention the #SKY fans called out by the #Sky team??????????? Oh that's right you are pushing a false narative. Why not call out A'ja Wilson for her racist comments???? Oh that's right you again push one narritive.

    Bruh she doesn’t need to speak on anything. What if she is actually against lgbtq stuff? Then what?

    • @SeshatPG82
      @SeshatPG82 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      First of all, she can speak against racism without address "lgbtq stuff." Second, I doubt she's against "lgbtq stuff" having a best friend in Kate Martin.

    Let me say i denounce racism no doubt but to put the responsibility on Caitlin Clark is wrong and i know your gonna say you didnt say that you pretty much did when you said shes gotta be more educated and proactive denouncing it, The oujgh she didnt say anything doesnt mean she is proactive or educated, 17% of flagrant fouls in the league against one player,,,,,,and it was black on white flagrant fouls on Caitlin Clark, i seriously think you need to get the leadership of the WNBA to address this situation cuz the pure racial hate that has been shown has been black player on Caitlin and no one is addressing this issue!!!! im sick and tired of the obvious problem thaats not being addressed,,,,,,this is the WNBA not a hazing period in a sorority!!!!!

    • @SeshatPG82
      @SeshatPG82 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I could respond to a number of things in your post but "black on white" fouls against Clark are going to be disproportionate because the league is majority black and defensive guards who would be assigned to guard Clark are likely to be black. That doesn't mean it's a race thing. RE: the 17% of flagrant fouls: there were 33-34 flagrants called during the season. 6-7 were fouls made on Clark and and 80% of them were committed by one team (Chicago Sky). If there's a flagrant foul problem, it's not "black on white," or a league problem; it's Chicago Sky on CC problem. And, yes, the refs do need to reign in some of out of bounds physicality in the league.

    When you can't 'see' them, there's not much to do! The trolls can be a Acer-fan pretending to be fan for another team or not a fan at all. But a person there can make trouble and stir up a lot on the social media! A x-girlfriend or .... you see where I'm going!
    You can only take an active Stan towards persons where there are proof! Players had said a lot happen during games, but no evidence at all. With all the cameras at the court all the mobilephones ect. no pictures or videos at all! Get that and it can be taken serious and the right people will do whatever it takes!
