- Last night the Indiana Fever were eliminated from the WNBA Playoffs, losing to the Connecticut Sun, and ending Caitlin Clark's rookie season. During the post game press conference, Alyssa Thomas called out toxic Fever Fans and claimed the WNBA needs to "do something about it." Today we reflect on Caitlin Clark's rookie season, and how the WNBA was riddled with drama, jealousy, and pettiness. Are the WNBA and it's players happy that Caitlin Clark is done for the year!? I've been a WNBA season pass holder for the past few seasons, so I'm not a new fan. But I am a disillusioned fan. and I don't plan to watch anymore this year. The pettiness and brutality this year has tarnished the product. I went to UConn, and just hoping they clean it up before Paige enters; they need better refs too.

Next season 8 and a half months away. It's the longest off-season in history but this league better fix a lot of s*** or I won't be back in a lot of people like me won't be back. I and others stop watching the games after the Chicago catastrophe where b****** try to severely injured Kate went on different occasions. I check the highlights I watch TH-cam and ESPN but I can't support this league anymore. I hope the off-season gives Caitlyn more strength and she talks about all the s*** they put her through it was racially motivated and sexually motivated

She didn't talk about any other player and put her mind and heart into playing her basketball. She is the most complete player in the WNBA or any other category in female basketball.

I will share my thoughts as a sports fan. I found your channel and Instagram because of CC. I enjoyed watching and supporting her, AB, KM and the whole Fever squad. It's very difficult for me to root and support the W. I feel like they only want specific fans that don't include me. I'm willing to spend money but again, it's hard to support the W.
I was excited to follow CC into the WNBA and was ready to follow other players and teams. The way she has been treated by the league and the media has made me only watch her and the Fever. A golden opportunity to grow the league was lost because she wasn't embraced and appreciated.

While I like many of the other players, I came for Caitlin and The Indiana Fever. They’re awesome and won me over as the underdogs. They're my #1, so if they're out, so am I. That being said, I’m rooting for the Lynx-Napheesa Collier is where it's at.
I'm not sure I will watch a full length Lynx game but I will most certainly keep up with their highlights.

Now about the wokeness, there's no way AR is on the same level as CC. The skill level is just levels apart. I felt like the media tried pushing AR into the picture just to push an agenda. Making it seem like the ROTY was a close race. I remember like a month into the season Skip Bayless saying something like "AR is the ROTY, she just impacts the game more" lol. And then NBA 2K giving them both the same rating at 90 overall, that's crazy. It eventually became very obvious that AR is just not on the same level. I mean she's good in her own way, a rebounding machine, but she's just nowhere near CC's level. People were too scared to just admit that CC is better, saying a White player is better than a Black player. The US is too woke nowadays, they are scared of the backlash, scared of being cancelled, etc. I do not believe at all that Skip Bayless actually believed that AR was better than CC, he was probably scared because he already received a lot of backlash these past couple years with the Shannon drama & FS1, & now he's gone lol. CC is just the better player, plain & simple.

Do people not realize that Caitlin’s mental health has also been affected this season. She has also been sent awful things and told horrible things, but she chooses not to blast it on social media. She is 22, just left college, and is figuring out the world most 22-year-olds aren’t expected to solve racism and misogyny in a league that has been around for years prior, not to mention she has always praised those who came before her and never has thought of herself as a savior or gods gift to basketball.
This is not Caitlin’s issue to solve. She tells people a million times to stop, but she can’t control if they listen to it or not. Fans will be fans no matter how many things you tell them. It’s been this way in men’s sports for years and even worse for them, and again, no matter how many times it’s been told to stop, it never does. I say this, at the risk of sounding like Archie Bunker. The dominant group of WNBA athletes, have become EXACTLY what they have railed against for the last 100 years. They’re being called out on social media, for the ugly way they are playing. They deserve exactly what they’re getting!!!

This league is made up of a kind (we can sense it what it is) and don't want to be overtaken by CC kind. Business wise this is not good. Anyway, the league is used to be in this kind of situation even losing money.

To be honest, I came to know Aja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and some more WNBA players because of Caitlin Clark. She made me watch WNBA for the first time in my life. Now that Fever is eliminated I will just wait till next year. Good Luck!

The hater players obviously have the decent players too afraid to take a stand and defend her. CC is the furthest thing from a glory hound, the furthest. What if she was accomplishing all that she has, but had a bit of an ego, was a bit arrogant . . . oh lord!
