At first I wondered why the usual fanfare didn't play as Brennan was crowned, and then it hit me: It was their SECOND BEST VICTORY SONG. After which we got the sentimental remix seguing into the familiar triumphant fanfare. Sound design can be overlooked at times, but I really enjoyed it here.

He's not objecting to being second because (in this case at least) he deserves second place. As far as I've gathered, he started DM-ing DnD games for kids at summer camp yeeeeaaaars ago, and he's studied a decent amount of philosophy. So, he understands what people go through as he chaperoned a bunch of kids from all different background, and he's studied why it matters and why WE matter. I think it's part of why him playing parents of characters on Dimension 20 is always so heart-wrenchingly beautiful.
